I hired Brian for an event with kids ages 0-8 and he was a huge hit! He was easy to communicate with and he just requires a table and some shade if the weather is appropriate for an outdoor event. He brought two lizards and five snakes, including a huge Burmese python! Brian is charismatic but not pushy at all, and I could tell that he's good at feeling out everyone's comfort level. The show is educational for kids and adults both, but the main attraction was when put out all his reptiles on the table and let everyone pet and hold them. At one point, my daughter had three draped around her shoulders and one in her hands! Brian Condy did a wonderful job when he brought his reptiles to our camp. In a room with over 30 children present, he held their attention for over 2 hours. A significant portion of the time was spent in question-and-answer, which could have easily led to some children becoming disengaged. Brian, however, continually redirected the crowd back to the question being asked and provided engaging and detailed answers, ensuring that the room was quiet enough for everyone to hear. During the question and answer portion, there were some reptiles on display to look at, and Brian would periodically take them out to talk about them. The format of the presentation was simple: question and answer first, then introduction to the reptiles and opportunities to touch and hold them. The kids had questions about the safety of touching and holding the reptiles, but Brian talked at length about how to do so safely, and by the end of the night even kids who had started out feeling squeamish and scared were petting snakes. For a process that could have been highly chaotic, the touching and holding portion of the night turned out to be great fun and was kept under control through Brian's clear directions on how to care for the animals and where to form a line. After the kids were done touching the snakes, they were provided with hand sanitizer. The night was a huge success and delight for campers and staff alike, and we highly recommend hiring Brian for your event. read more

I booked For Goodness Snakes for my 4yo birthday party this past weekend (~40 adults and ~30 kids). The whole experience was AMAZING! The kids (age 1 to 8) LOVED it and the parents were as entertained and engaged as their little ones. Brian was so good with the kiddos and answering everyone's questions. I wasn't sure what to expect and at the end the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I can't say I'm a fan of snakes and reptiles but this event definitely made me see them differently. I just finished my son's 6th birthday party hosted at a local park in Walnut Creek. My son really wanted "a snake party". I reached out to a few that were located in the East Bay and everyone was booked. I began to tell my son that all the snakes were sick! He was engaging, warm, playful and kept the kids attention. It was a bunch of 3-6 year olds so it's not that easy. The show was supposed to be 45 mins but ended up being over 1.5 hrs! He gave you time to pet and hold the snakes and lizards. My guest kept exclaiming how fun that was and I agree. There were guest that have seen other shows however you could only pet the reptiles so apparently it was quite the experience to be able to take your time and hold and pet them!
