For $15 you get a machine that holds 3 bingo sheets and 3 paper sheets; each sheet hold 6 bingo cards. Jackpot is $500 for all 10 games! Bonus cards are $3 each, jackpot the same. $0.50 cents for stampers. That's the basics of this place. Now here's the reality of it. When I first got there I was gun Ho about stamping and having the machine work its magic. The bubble was busted after the first minute of the first game. YOU HAVE TO ENTER ALL NUMBERS IN YOUR MACHINE ITS NOT AUTOMATIC AS WELL AS STAMP YOUR CARDS! Image now, stamping 12 bingo cards and entering numbers simultaneously!! Crazy!! On top, the caller is SUPER FAST, meaning numbers get thrown at you every 2 seconds. So, you are a beginner stick with the machine and 1 bingo card. Side games are plentiful here, from Money Train, All the marbles, Coyote Ugly, Popeye, and Golden State each playing $500-$1000 They have a pretty extensive food bar and FREE coffee for those that need the caffeine. Bring a seat cushion because with all the side games and bonus games you will be there for 3.5 hours. Make friends quick because you might need that extra help if you are Hell bent in playing all 3 cards and the machine. The Bingo Hall is spacious and you are pretty much find a sit even if you are like me and come in 10 minutes before the start of the game. There's plently of parking space outside, as this place is located on a private lot shared with other stores in the area. It can get hecktic when leaving as everyone rushes out at the same time, it feels like you were leaving a ball park. I didn't win this time, but this hall is open 7 days a week. So if you are a bingo manic and don't mind spending 3.5 hours there. This is your place. Small amount of money invested with a potential of a large pay out.

Best Bargain in Town! Not going to find many places that offer 25 chances to win $500 for $15..... My Grandmother has been playing here since 79' and is treated like family by everyone involved, from management, runners, callers, snack bar, security and fellow players! I might say sometimes she is a bit overwhelmed at the speed they call as they forget she's 103 so they could slow down a tad when calling on strips or specials but otherwise everything runs pretty smoothly! Also the layout is pretty player friendly as there's not a bad seat to be had! Thanks to all involved! 'BINGO", Blow that Whistle Nana!

This is a chair, one of many at Foothill Square bingo. Health Dept.......

Please do not save seats for people who haven't arrived and accuse any one of moving machines because they are simply there and you the security have laid out machines and ask that they not be moved..... DON'T ACCUSE PEOPLE OF DOING THINGS.... LEARN HOW TI TALK TO PAYING CUSTOMERS... DO NOT AGITATE, AGGRAVATE OR ATTEMPT TO ANTAGONIZE PAYING CUSTOMERS... NOBODY IS GOING TO NOT SPEAK IP ESPECIALLY ME.... YOU WANTED A REASON To escort me out of the hall you intentionally sat down tried to aggravate me because you are security with a gun. PLEASE DO NOT DISRESPECT ME AGAIN Because you don't like the answer or response...I will report you to the bingo commission. Sacramento CA., in the morning. Your pay outs and your personal behavior.

The cashier guy gave us a double sided piece of paper with information, but who wants to read all of that, when you want to just jump in and play. Then, a lady behind us in line, named Pam (who everyone seemed to know), told us to sit by her and she helped us, and became our bingo guru. Pam even called the Chinese restaurant next door to order some food for us that was delivered complete with plates, utensils, and napkins! The other players were older, wiser, faster, and luckier than us (maybe because of their lucky charms and wacky compulsions). It wasn't packed, loud, or tense. I would highly recommend this bingo hall. Good prizes, reasonable buy-ins, free parking, and very entertaining environment.

Welcome to St. Timothy's Friday Night Bingo!…read more Where all the cool grannies go. And me. It's a pretty steep buy-in at $20 a Bingo board but that's also your entrance fee. Everyone pays to enter/play. This ain't no spectator sport. If you want extra boards it goes up $5 per board up to 3 extra boards at $35. And of course you can buy the special games and pull tabs for an additional charge, usually $2 each. Their website says the first game starts at 7:30 (and runs til around 10pm-ish) but I got there around 7:15 and they'd already started and were on the 3rd game. What? I'd recommend getting there no later than 6:30 to nab a seat because by the time we'd arrived on what was considered a slow night, there were only a handful of seats out of several hundred left to snagged. You can buy nominally priced concessions like little Cheetos bags, candy bar, hot dogs, or cheesy nachos with the cheese from a vey homestyle crock-pot. They pass around complimentary muffins and there's also coffee and hot water available. It's very much a church potluck style of dining but you are able to bring your own food in as well. We saw people with entire casserole dishes being cut up and people who brought entire pizzas, or supplies to make their own sandwiches. Next time I'll 100% be toting along a pizza and 1000 different snacks to share with my new Bingo friends. Most of the attendees are 70+ years of age and they mean business. They are lean, mean, Bingo machines and they've all come to win those prizes, ranging from $250 all the way up to $750. These prizes are nothing to scoff at. My only skepticism was that the Bingo games are held within a church but turns out it's not in the actual church, just on church property, and there was nothing Jesus-y about it beyond that many of the players know the others from going to that church. The whole thing is set up is actually inside of a church's grade school basketball gymnasium with rows of folding tables and chairs and the main bingo callers on the stage. There's a monitor set up to view the upcoming bingo numbers and a main board above the stage to keep track of all called numbers. From what I learned, the whole thing is a family-run operation and the regulars... which were pretty much everyone but me, know everyone there. It was really nice and had fun, midwestern blue collar vibe, which I very much miss. I didn't end up winning anything but it was a fun experience and definitely one I'm looking forward to again. Finally, a good Friday night activity in Silicon Valley!

So, to be honest, my friends and I were a little skeptical because this place only had two, dated…read morereviews, but we were looking for a fun Friday night activity. The two glowing reviews led us to St. Timothy's school gym that was packed with bingo players. Parking was super easy because it's a school with lots, so it was not problem. Then we just walked in and paid $19 for our cards and power ball number. You do have to be 18 to play. We were 30 to 45 minutes early, and the place was mostly already at it's game time level. People were ready to go. The doors opened at 5 p.m., and they serve coffee and hot tea and offer a concession stand and soda machine. Then, during bingo play, they offered donuts -- yes, free donuts. The actual bingo portion required a dauber, which they sold many options for $2 or less. We got mini ones for $1.25, and they even offered a rainbow of colors at that level. They worked great. The playing part was a little trickier. They hand out a schedule with some rules, so definitely read through that. Then, basically just follow along and ask your neighbors if you get confused. People were more than willing to help. In addition, you can play special games for a few dollars a round if you want in on all the action. The crowd is older, but were definitely welcoming to three girls in their 20s. Then you just daub and yell out BINGO! and wave it in the air when you win, which my friend won $250. How exciting! They cash amounts vary depending on the game and the pots are split between people if multiples win. It was great, fun, cheap entertainment really. For $19, we passed almost four hours of time, and in our case, made our money back plus some. I would definitely go again. I am really glad we took a chance and went. I am also glad they will have an updated review now! If you are interested at all in trying bingo, it's a great venue for it. Good luck!

The seating is comfortable, with a home-like feel--cozy couches that make it easy to settle in and enjoy the film. That said, there were a few drawbacks. The popcorn wasn't great, which is always a bit disappointing for a movie night. The wait staff also came across as rude, which took away from the overall vibe. Another surprise was that they only accept cash and don't offer tap-to-pay options, which feels outdated, especially for Oakland. It was interesting that the lobby was busy and lively, yet the actual screening only had about four people in it. The space clearly leans into a community-focused, multi-use model, and they host other events that could be fun depending on what you're looking for. It feels very Oakland--community-driven and a bit unconventional. Overall, it's a decent spot with potential, but not somewhere I'd rush back to just for a movie.

There's a stage in front and it reminds me of the type of gymnasium that my elementary school had where you had a place on the floor with people to sit at tables and eat and a stage where people could Act, scene, do presentations and so on. I was going to get a drink there and I'm glad I didn't! They had a full bar and you could get drinks there and I don't know what the prices were because as I was going, we were being called to dinner. The dinner was in another building and a roller door was lifted to let us in. We are allowed to sit at a table, and that was good. We saw salads that looked lame, but tasted much better than expected. Being that I hadn't eaten any veggies, I decided to go with the salad and eat some. yes I knew I couldn't eat the pasta. So, it was a nice spot. Unfortunately two of my friends had to go home because they had an appletini and got really sick. One almost went to the hostpital. The other, a nurse, was up all night and took care of herself at home. They said that the person put something, a cherry maybe in the drink and used their hands, no gloves. They thought that the alcohol would kill any germs. Apparently they did not. Lucky me, because I was going to order something when we were called to sit down for our meal. So, the food was clunky, the food was OK, and they had wine on the table. I didn't get sick which is why they have three stars. It's a building, it's standing, so it has the basics.

I'm giving the lodge a four star for my dining experience and an enjoyable evening. My husband has been here more than a few times to play games of pool with our friendly neighbor and one of his friends. I have been here before for another event almost three years ago. The interior is beautiful, but the walls are thin. One can actually hear people talking in the next room. Our meeting place was the Mahogany Room for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. I did not want to stuff myself with the appetizers and not have enough room in my stomach for the main entree - crab. Nor did I want any libation before the meal. After the cocktail hour, we were escorted to the Rathskeller (basement of the lodge) where the dinner was held. The gentlemen on the waitstaff were lined up in an orderly manner, serving us whatever we desired - be it the bowtie/penne pasta, dinner rolls/garlic bread, coffee, dessert. Presentation of the crab, the wines (red and white), Caesar salad and the antipasti plates was excellent...casual, yet classy. Dessert was a serving of raspberry sorbet. The only minor drawback was the bowtie/penne pasta served on the same plate as the salad plate. Even though I did not win any of the door prizes after making a donation of $20 for 20 raffle tickets, they had some nice ones, such as the $100 gift card from Scott's Seafood, $100 gift card for Yoshi's dinner and show, $50 gift cards from La Penca Azul, C'era Una Volta, 1400 Bar and Grill, Jim's Coffee Shop, Pier 29. From what I heard, the lodge raised about $1,500 in raffle ticket sales. I also have to give kudos to the waitstaff, many of whom were very tolerable and patient with this woman who sat at the next table behind my husband. She was in the wine (whine) mode. "I want penne pasta. I don't want this dinner roll with butter. I want some garlic bread. Don't you guys have any garlic bread?" On and on she went...egads...she had a sense of entitlement. Yes, there were two bottles of wine at each table, but her incessant whining almost had me do a "face palm" on her.
