I'm so…read moreimpressed with the customer service and facility of Leave It to Us Self Storage (LITUSS) which is why I'm writing a review. Moving is very stressful but when you work with a company that cares it makes a huge difference! I was moving my Mom from Marysville to Shingle Springs where I live and work so we did a one way truck rental with it being dropped off at LITUSS since she had rented a storage unit there. This involved two loads/trips because the largest truck I could get down my driveway was 15' and my Mom had more things than we predicted. It was a long tiring day and when it came time to drop the first load off at LITUSS I realized I was a little confused about the app since it was new and I also had a billing question so I called LITUSS at almost 5pm on a Saturday. Molly answered the phone and to summarize, she helped with all my questions and made sure that all our questions were answered and if there was any issue she wanted to know so she could fix it. We didn't get done and back to storage with the 2nd load until almost 130am which I didn't check ahead about access hours so we couldn't get in. The Uhaul was due back at 8am but we wouldnt have it unloaded and dropped off until 10AM. I called Molly at 7AM on a Sunday and again, she answered. I was overwhelmed and concerned about the consequences for being late and she made me feel so much better by listening and caring and letting me bring the truck back by 10am. If you need storage please use LITUSS. The facility and units are beautiful and so clean! Even the floors of the unit are so clean that you don't need to lay down any covering to protect your items. Not to mention if you end up wanting to sell some of them they offer a "garage/yard sale" type option right there at the facility. Oh, and their prices are the best in the area especially for what you get. Their Noke security system for entry/exit is so impressive and all done on an app. This may be the longest review I've ever written but my hope is people read it and use LITTUS for their storage needs as they will be absolutely taken care of and the value of service/facility far exceeds the more than fair cost. Thank you Molly for your exceptional customer service and quality of facility!

    I overrated this place by 1 star. I would remove the one that I gave if I could…read more WARNING Do not deal with this place!! When they were just MISSOURI FLAT STORAGE this business was second to none. However, Storage Pro bought the place and brought with them all the "customer service" reserved for the lucky ones needing service at the DMV. This MEGA- corporation is not interested in customer relations, rather, they only care about profits. And it shows. I had been a loyal customer of the former business for YEARS. But once STORAGE PRO gobbled up another small family run business, they weren't able to merge the information of customers AUTO-PAY payment information from the former business owners records. I had paid ON TIME with AUTO PAY for years. I travel out of the U.S.A. a lot so I wasn't aware of their inability to handle such an easy task. By the time I got home and found out they weren't capable I owed 2 months back rent. No biggie, I called them up, explained the situation and asked them to remove over TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS in fees related to their inability to transfer my payment information into their system. Do you think they agreed? Would I be writing this if they had? No, they told me it was MY FAULT. My fault? I paid the back pay PLUS the fees and will remove my belongings this month. I recommend all of you... BEWARE.

We called to find out what dollar value would be required to bring our account current. Based on that call, we set aside the funds to pay our bill. Luckily, I called prior to heading down to the office because we were quoted another price. Needless to say, their communications regarding payment sucks. During our entire time on the phone, there was no mention made that the only payment acceptable was cash. We spent a day driving down to and back from the bank to obtain the cash. While we were driving, someone spoke to my daughter and failed to provide her with the entire story, thus throwing my relationship with her into excessive turmoil. They won't take a debit card for payment but have absolutely no compunction providing partial and incorr3ct information. The communications on their part failed once again when they didn't tell us the office was open, but access to the units was restricted. Again, happenstance prevailed, and we drove to make our payment and at the time was informed that our bill was due in 10 days. Today, as we were lined up to remove our furniture, we were graciously informed that our bill was late and access to the facility was limited. Based on the day we paid and their built-in grace period, our bill is current until Sunday. We got the last of our property out of the unit today and not a minute too soon. They need to be clear as a bell about types of payment options and to whom they are divulging customer information. My daughter and my grandkids are now no longer speaking to me thanks to someone who had no reason to comment on its status since they didn't accept credit cards for payment. There are a plethora of other facilities that provide their services, and I'm betting that none of them would have the temerity to share business information with parties who are not contractually bound. All of the positive things evaporated quicker than a snowball in hell by failing to keep their mouth shut. Upon asking them if they would reach back to my daughter to apologize for their transgression, I received a rather indifferent NO from the front desk personnel. This is an example of the cliche that a million pats on the back vanish with a single screw up.
