I spoke with Barbara and I let her know my situation that I had two mini split units that needed a deep cleaning ASAP because I noticed mold was inside the units. Barbara confirmed with the technician and was able to set up appointment for same day with a small waiting window from 2pm-4pm! Other companies were giving me long waiting windows on when they might show up. I also love that she was able to give me an upfront price on servicing my two units!! Daniel and Eric were the two technicians that came out to service my units. Daniel was very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I explained the situation with the units and he was confident that he would fix the situation. Before he started, he let me know what he was going to do to deep clean the units and remove the mold and gave me another option just in case it didn't work. His confidence put me at ease as I was stressing so much about this mold situation. Daniel and Eric were very professional and we were able to get the job done and had my units looking brand new! They made sure there was no mess left behind and the areas that they serviced were clean. They showed up on time and actually a couple minutes early, which was a great surprise. I appreciate that they wore shoe coverings when working inside my house. I didn't even have to tell them or ask them. They already had the coverings and put them on before they even walked in. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend to anyone needing service! Thank you for all your help and taking care of this stressful situation!

That has never been my experience with Total 1. What really sets them apart is their honesty and attention to detail. Instead of "firing the parts cannon" or condemning a perfectly serviceable unit just to make a bigger sale, they focus on finding the actual issue and fixing what truly needs to be fixed. That approach has saved me money and given me confidence that I'm getting straightforward, professional advice. Every interaction I've had with Total 1 has been positive -- they're knowledgeable, respectful of your time, and clearly care about doing the job right. It's refreshing to work with a company that prioritizes long‑term customer relationships over quick upsells. In my experience they have always been a great value. If you're looking for a contractor you can trust -- one that won't pressure you into unnecessary replacements and will take the time to explain what's really going on -- I highly recommend Total 1. They've earned my full endorsement and will continue to be my first call.

I saw all the amazing 5 star reviews for True Blue and noticed a common theme. Honest, fair, professional, informative, nice, competitive pricing. All 100+ very positive reviews and not a single negative review. As we all know, that's essentially nonexistent when dealing with the public in any capacity, particularly when it comes to the HVAC service industry. I gave them a call to schedule an estimate. Lisa answered and was amazing with accommodating my schedule and with all subsequent correspondence. Shane came out a couple days later, educated me on the new systems, patiently answered all my questions and took his time explaining in detail my options (I ended up going with the Bosch/heat pump. Quietest compressor I've ever witnessed). Shane sent over a quote that was less than another quote I had received and with many more upgraded options including a $2K federal tax credit. Much more overall value for my money. Shane's crew (Kevin, Rudy & Brandon) came out on the scheduled date and time and handled business to perfection. Removed my old stuff, installed the new equipment and made sure everything was working flawlessly before leaving that same day. The enter process was seamless. Like so many others, I can't recommend Shane and True Blue Heating & Air Conditioning enough for anyone looking to replace their HVAC system. There aren't many small, family owned businesses like this one any more.

They provided white glove service from quotation all the way through installation. I was simple to book a same day inspection and quote request for a new HVAC unit online. The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. Steve's 5 Star Service took such great care of my baby girl and I during the heat. They were urgent to get us some reprieve from the heat and cool air into our home again. They are the nicest group of people I've ever hired. True to their word, take great pride in their work, take respectful care of their customers and provide easy breezey service. Shout out to the wonderful team that assist me on this project: Angel Perez, Jon Neves, Brad, Javier and The Purple Crane. Thank you thank you! I cannot thank you all enough! The gentleman told me that he would order the part and it would be a couple hundred bucks, he'd call me in a few weeks to schedule the installation. I called All Air to follow up six weeks later, said the part was ordered and should be in soon. I called after the new year. Said the part was backordered (this was around the time that COVID was causing supply chain issues, nbd.) Said that I can call periodically to check on the status of the part. I called at the end of February, said the part was still backordered. I called in April. Said the part was still backordered. I called in June. Said the part was still backordered. They recommended that, if I was going to be this impatient (!?) that I should just order a new oven. I told them that I had already waited over six months and that I would just keep waiting. I called in September. Same old shit. Once we hit the one-year mark, I was mad. My patience had been tested. I asked the manager to give me a call. The next day Yvette calls me and is very apologetic. Turns out, THE ORDER FOR THE PART HAD NEVER BEEN PLACED. I'm not even joking. They kept assuring me that "they had problems with this repair person not following-through" So the people in the office kept assuring me the part was backordered, which was a bold-faced lie. Despite me checking back over and over again, no one was actually following up on my part. Amazing. On December 23, 2022, the part finally comes in. You ready to spit out your drink? They quoted me almost $900 to have it installed. A totally new oven was less expensive. I declined, obviously, especially with tepid apology and absolutely no empathy for this rotten customer service endeavor. I will not be a repeat customer.
