Based on the ample positive reviews on Google and Yelp, I decided to walk-in on a rainy Saturday. I…read moreexpressed it was my first visit and asked if they took walk-ins. I was told there would be a 15-min wait, which was fine by me, and he told me to have a seat. He didn't ask which service I would like, but he approached me after checking a few other people in to clarify. The waiting area is comfortable and there's a couple of fish tanks if you don't feel like staring at your phone. While I waited, I used their restroom which was clean. Always a good sign. They also have a water dispenser in the waiting area if you'd like to hydrate before or after your massage (they'll ask and fetch you water post-massage.) I opted for their standard massage (foot and body) for $40 (+tip.) I was shown into a room with two massage tables after my 15 minute wait and a gentleman came in with a lukewarm tub of water to soak my feet. I took off my shoes and socks and placed them aside, and put my pocketbook in a plastic basket that they provide so I didn't need to leave my things on the floor. This is standard at a lot of places. ATTIRE: I've been to these sorts of places while wearing jeans and a T-shirt, or shorts and a sports bra, it really doesn't matter. They will work around your clothes. For the most part, there is a towel between their hands and your clothing with some exceptions. They are massaging your back and butt with the towel. If your legs are bare, they will use their hands. They also will reach down the back of your shirt with some lotion to massage your neck. NOT at this place, but other places, I have had them lift the back of my shirt, unhook my bra, and massage my back. Or, push the top of my pants down a bit to get to my lower back, if they are athletic wear. And no, they don't ask permission, but it has all felt fairly routine and professional to me. There was one or two spots. I was extra sensitive and grunted, he was very polite and paused and asked "softer?" and when I said yes, he said, "ok, sorry" with a smile. In short, don't be afraid to ask them to be less rough if you're not enjoying it. They just want you to enjoy it and come back! I'll also mention that every masseuse is different. I've returned to places only to have a different experience with a different individual. In short, I will be back! They were very polite, the place was clean, I liked the vibe, their estimated wait time was accurate, the massage was very good, and I like the price. As for tipping, 20% ($8) can feel a little low when someone is spending an hour rubbing your body. I tipped $15 atop the $40 flat rate, but that is up to you.

He didn't miss! Jomar was wonderful. Son had scheduled for Swedish massage but I needed a firmer touch. Jomar graciously accommodated the change and provided the best massage I've had! He was very mindful of getting in tune with what I needed. There was no need for me to give him instruction after my initial request - he just worked his magic! I scheduled again with Jomar this week. He did not disappoint!! Deep tissue this time was perfect. I was feeling a little under the weather before my appointment, so I called to make sure it was OK if I still came in. I was encouraged to still come in since I wasn't contagious. Best decision! Jomar is the best!

(This makes me feel all sorts of feelings! Why can't things stay the same and continue forever and ever?) However, nothing is forever, darling. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. Indy Massage Company is one of my favorite places in Indy, and I continue to love visiting this place when I can.

I've done about every hair cut a girl can do. I've cut all my hair off, gotten bangs and everything in between, and she's always done an amazing job! I always get blond highlights as well. I know every salon push's product, but what ever Jess suggests, just do it. Not only is it worth every penny and lasts a long time ( with no matter how long or short my hair is ) your hair will love you for it! You won't regret coming here. Ask for Jess

I found this place just from driving by and decided I would try it for color after not having any…read morecolor in my hair for 2+ years. I wanted to go Burgundy red for winter (think red wine color) and am naturally a dark brunette. I emailed photos of what I wanted prior to coming for the appointment and was nervous because we were going away on a trip shortly after. The stylist who did my hair was really kind, I just don't think she knew what she was doing. My hair came out orange instead of dark red. I left because I was kinda in shock and she was really excited about it and didn't know how to tell her. When I got home my husband asked me what I did to my hair so that's when I realized I had to do something and change it. I emailed immediately and even called the next day after not hearing back via email and finally I just walked in two days later (and it seemed like they were avoiding me because they couldn't get ahold of the owners to figure out what to do). Eventually they scheduled me to come back the following day and tried to fix it but it was still super brassy. I spent over $240 (they didn't charge the second time) but still was really disappointed. Unfortunately I will not return here. Fortunately I found another awesome salon across town which is way cheaper and they seem to know how to use color. My hair has since been fixed (a couple hundred bucks later and a new stylist later).
