This place is a JOKE. We called and asked was a specific shoe in stock. Nate confirmed the shoe was in stock and that he would put the size 13 aside. My family and I drove over (it took us about 15 minutes) all to have Nate come out and blatantly lie and say it was there when we called , but now it's not. Nate, the truth is so much easier. If you're a lazy waste of a paycheck that didn't look and didn't expect we would come to make a PURCHASE, I would respect the half of a person you are so much more if you would have simply said "no, we don't have it." This is one of the reasons why brick and mortar stores are closing. Lack of customer service and liars. I will NEVER visit this waste of a space store again. So thanks to the professionals at House of Hoops in North Riverside! They made good on their word and after leaving the pit of hell Footlocker in Joliet, my family and I made the 45 min drive at 8:00 pm to North Riverside and bought the shoes that they actually held for us like they said. read more

Yes, I came here with the intention of plunking down some cash on a new pair of athletic shoes. The customer service, or lack thereof, instead, had me running out the door. I actually was looking for something old-school, without the mesh tops that most athletic shoes come with nowadays. Or perhaps to try on a few different sizes of shoes with the mesh, since I was having a problem with the mesh wearing out along the toe line. I figured one of the eight bored-looking employees would be able to help me out. After about ten minutes of browsing, I pulled one woman away from her cell long enough to explain my issues., and what I was looking for. Without moving from her spot to help, she looked at me and said "Girl, go get your toenails did." (Coming from one with nine inch fingernails.) I'd say I haven't been insulted before, but that would not be true. But this was just wrong on so many levels. I of course, walked out, rather bewildered. Went in there to purchase 5 pairs of Jordan's for Christmas total was $440 asked for a gift receipt and was told too late because the transaction went through already told them you never asked if I wanted one who buys 5 pairs of Jordan's In 5 different sizes. They replied nothing we can do now I told them refund me the money and repurchase simple right ? So they refunded my money but when they were scanning the shoes they were a cheaper price than what I paid a few minutes ago. After I heard that I just told them just refund me everything and took my business elsewhere and saved $60 from another shoe store for the same product. Will never step foot in that place ever again and will let everyone know about my experience. read more

I went into the store and the debit card machine was not working, the employee assured me that I would not be charged twice HOWEVER I was charged twice for the same pair of shoes. The employee was very rude and it seemed like the attention to the transaction that I requested was not convenient for her. I have now been working the Footlocker customer service for over 2 months to try to get my money back and I keep getting told it has been forwarded to such and such department. read more
