Terrible service. I rarely write negative reviews but I felt the need to voice my experience. In a nut shell my dog who is a white terrier needed her hair cut and nails trimmed. The lady at the front desk asked how old my dog was and when I responded "she's 13..." she refused to take my dog bc she's "too old" Now if you're a dog owner or even an animal lover, you know very well how hurtful that can be to someone. I canceled my appointment, obviously and found a better place where my dog's hair came out fabulous. read more

I found this place on yelp and decided to try it out for my new puppy Ace. Upon walking in I knew this was the right place for any future grooming. Wonderful staff! Everyone was very warm and accommodating. We've tried a few different groomers in the past, but this is the first time that Princess came out looking happy after a cut. Today was my fur baby's 1st time here and we loved it. He is normally very shy and suffers with separation anxiety, but today he walked into this grooming salon with his tail wagging. We were greeted warmly and the entire staff was very friendly. All the dogs on the tables being groomed seemed calm and happy. I returned to find my usually barking or whining baby happy wagging his tail and ready to go. I paid a little more than I expected but I was happy to do so for the great service they provided! So odd.. My other positive posting was put under not recommended. I don't understand because I ADORE Foofie Poochies and Doreen and her staff are wonderful with my two dogs. Patches is always overgrown and a mess. She's a messy puppy but that never deters Doreen and crew. My babies always coming back like gorgeous, happy puppies. Patches hates the car and Scout could care less. Loves to go for rides. Patches will bark and bark till we pull up. Once she realizes where she is (and she knows!!) She literally jumps out of her harness to see everyone. Scout is a street dog so grooming is a new thing to him. Yet he has adjusted quite well to the spoiling, pampering and LOVE he receives from everyone here. Whether it's a super busy Saturday or a laid back day (though those days are far and few between now, good for them!!) We are always greeted personally by Doreen (the owner) and her lovely Mom who manages the front for her. Foofie Poochies isn't just a dog groomer, they care about the overall health of your pet. Once she caught a potential problem on my Patches that I failed to notice. We caught the issue in time before it because serious. Try getting someone from a big box chain to give a damn. I have been taking my 6 year old Multipoo, Milley there. Yes, 6 great years. My dog was even getting excited even from a day before when she heard the word Foofies Pocchies, BUT..Just last week when I took there, I have never seen my dog like this before EVER, that she started crying and trying to hide and escape lowering her back down , was just trying to escape scratching the front door. As soon as I let her out, she was running she was just running out, didnt even care where , was just running.took her to the car, she was still trying to hide and escape. I wanted to make sure that she was running away from the groomer, so after calming her, this time i carried her there but before even entering she was just devastated. I AM BEING HONEST AND FAIR. My dog loved going there before. They always did a great job. But SOMETHING TERRIBLE MUST HAVE HAPPENED while she was there the last time which was little over than a month. read more

Came to this place as a recommendation from a friend. It has great reviews so I said why not? I was quoted a price which I thought was reasonable but when I came to pick up my dog, they said that he had fell into a different weight category so they had to charge me $20 more. That is absolutely ridiculous! I have never heard of a groomer to do this! I was furious not only because of the extra money that I had to pay, but my dog didn't even smell good. He just smelt like wet dog. When I bring him to other places, he always smells so good afterwards. And on top of that, he wasn't fully dried. He had damp spots on his body so you can tell they definitely rushed through with him and didn't take their time. I will not be coming back here. read more

I come here often and my dog loves it here. He always looks, feels, and smells fantastic after a bath. I also like the barkery treats and the accessories shop. I Think the owner is terrific with dogs and I like that she recognizes my dog by name anytime we come by. A big plus is that they offer Saturday and Sunday hours. read more

My dog had a rough experience at her last groomer. Something must have happened to her behind the scenes where she became very anxious and had an accident. In her 6 years going we never had a problem. When I went to pick her up they recommended that I bring her in sedated. After doing some searching I found Foofie's I can't tell you how pleased I am with them. They were so patient with my dog and they were able to keep her calm and collected which for my dog is tough with strangers. When I went to pick her up she was so happy. Worst dog grooming place ever! Very poor customer service. Manager just shrugged her shoulders at me instead of trying to resolve the issue. To top it all off...when I picked up my dog, he was still damp and had no bandana like I was promised and they over charge! We took our two adopted babies, Henry and Annie, to Foofie Poochies for the first time this past weekend. We found this groomer online as we had been very unhappy with our regular groomer. Doreen is the owner and we met her when we arrived. She is very professional, asked a number of questions about our babies and how we wanted them to be groomed. We met the groomers, Doreen has three, and were able to talk to them about what we wanted done. Our two little ones received the BEST grooming and care ever. They looked so adorable, especially with their bandanas and with the bow in Annie's hair! The entire staff is very friendly and professional from the receptionist to the groomers, to the owner. Foofie Poochies offers several options for grooming, all reasonably priced, and they are open on Sundays, which is very convenient. We didn't leave before making their next appointment! read more
