On the way back from dropping off my daughter, I made a quick stop to pick up some essentials. This no-frills, warehouse-style grocery store is centrally located in the Market Creek Plaza. It's popular for budget-conscious grocery trips and features a well-stocked inventory, including a diverse range of plant-based and vegan options. It also offers standard amenities like an on-site bakery, organic products, and prepared foods. I was definitely pleased to see they replaced their old and worn-out metal fleets with upgraded, smoother-rolling standard carts (makes my grocery trips much more pleasant). There are certain ones that have inhl house bakeries to the freshly made baked goods to the deserts that you can find the many baked goods. The trip to the Euclid location is one that that has been the survivor of the many rain storms to the flooding that took place from the storm drain. From the green color and the large sign at the store you can find the many workers that help the people to the cars with groceries and recovery of the carts . The grocery store ore has one of the largest Ice Cream displays and the frozen food section that you can find many things for your breakfast and dinner. Coming to the store the security guard greets you at the door as you come the food displays that greet you at the door way . Food 4 Less workers they can help you in the Isles with the assistant manager her name is Christina she can help you taking you to the location of the product. The cashier Isles can be the ones that can be the ones which are clogged as the switch of the cashier's can be ones done by no managers. With the ringing of the many merchandise and groceries you have to do that yourself to bag groceries customer service can be ones of finding rude cashiers. FOOD4YES! I'm so impressed with this Food4Less as it's very well-stocked and had great items for plant-based/vegan folks. I'm sensitive when it comes to drinking milk and this store had great oat milk alternatives for an affordable price! The store also had lots of cereal, supplies, bread, and alcohol! I got basic stuff like water, plastic supplies, breakfast items and honey. Everything was easy to find and the store was super roomy. I never felt cramped in the aisles! The store has a bakery, alcohol section, and most standard commodities of a Food4Less, this store might be slightly bigger than some other stores I've been to. The staff was pretty mellow, so were the customers. I LOVE that there wasn't drama or shady things going on, I had a pleasant experience. Prices are excellent, I'm a boy on a budget and I don't have time for overspending so this store saved me haha. There's plenty of parking out front and the cart stations are scattered throughout the parking lot for easy access. You can find this location in a busy part of town, however it never felt packed. I would say service...My fiance and I were grocery shopping for my Mother in law Who is an elder at home with pneumonia, being that not only is he the the fiduciary of her finacial affairs due to her health he has power of attorney and has been appointed to manage her goverment benefits (like SSI and food snap and Cash aid) as well as her care giver. At approximately 9:15p.m we manage to get all groceries on the conveyor belt at the check Out lane. The cashier named Isabella was absolutely out of line, unprofesional and completely disrespectful. Se refused to complete our service due to a misunderstanding. Since there wasnt a bagger I took it upon myself to grab a few paper bags and Start bagging our groceries. Se rudely rolls her eyes and asks "how many bags are you going to need". I proceeded to keep bagging and I awnsered her with doubt " I'm not sure yet, we do have quiet a bit of stuff so i'm thinking maye 5" then she rudely says "you should'nt even be touching the bags and next time wait til i give you the bags" still with confusion my fiance and I decide to add two of the plastic heavy duty bags that cost something like $1.99 because again the total ended up being somewhere around $149.00 so we proceed on still ignoring her horrible customer service and poor work etiquete and ask her if she could please manualy enter the snap account number for the food and that we would pay the rest of the ítems that wernt food with our debit card she completely freaked out and said "absolutely not, you cant use someone elses snap card" we calmly explained our situation and she refused to even listen. I do notm know if she was on drugs or under the influence of a mind altering substance but i strongly suggest to maybe drug test her because that Kind of behavior is just not normal. So we had to cancel our whole order. When we started to Walk away I asked her name and let her know that I would be making a report on her unprofessionalism and disruptive and improper behavior in a workplace setting... and she gave me the middle finger. Its been one of the worst customer service experiences ive endured. I strongly suggest to Either drug test her or maybe some ánger management clases would be good for her. I just moved to San Diego. This was my first time being at this food.4 less and I usually do Instacart orders so I gotta order at the store. I walked in as soon as I went down the first aisle the security guard was following me telling me that the manager said that I couldn't be in the store. I literally told them that it's my first time in the store, but the security guard was just listening to the manager, telling me that I could not be in the store. so then I asked him I'm like can I talk to the manager because I literally never been here and so they started escorting me out and the manager is at the door like that's not her that's not her..... idc the whole point is I totally understand that people do unlawful things that get them banned from stores or whatever the case may be that they get banned from a store but make sure 100% that you know that it's that person before you just judge them by the way they look... I would never be back again. That was you telling me such a weird confrontation and to be escorted from a store you've never been at just for them to say that it wasn't you. This is by far one of the worst Food4less I've been to. The parking lot is always a mess for starters. A lot of sketchy individuals hang out around the store and the parking lot of the store even right where the trolley is on the other side directly across from the parking lot. I don't even feel safe the few times I've come here. Even how certain people park in the parking lot is wild. Frankly even inside the store it's not stocked very well. The lines are unbelievably long. Always a shortage of staff. The aisles are pretty disorganized. The customer service here is not great. I'd rather go somewhere else. The unsafest feeling when I'm there is like at any moment I could get mugged I definitely don't feel safe even inside the store either. I just think besides where it's located the shopping center has all these random individuals hanging around. It's a food4less, in the hood.. I mean there wasn't a high expectations, but come on, I really think we should hold em to a higher standard. I only come here when I need something last minute and everything else is closed && if I have an hour, minimum, to spare. The wait time for check out is horrendous. So plan your time accordingly. Parking sucks. Stuff you want to buy/looking for, is always out of stock. It's always disorganized and messy. I mean I wouldn't know what their day to day schedule or process is, but from my multiple experiences, it's a "why did I come here?" majority of the visits. Worst grocery store experience 0 out of 10 would not recommend. I came in this bouncer didn't greet me. But whatever. What gets me upset about her is as I was shopping my too large mask slipped down and my nose was exposed to this toxic environment.. and she literally ran up to me as if I was stealing something. She said I have to pull up my mask fully or leave the store. So I pulled it up and she said good. I originally came in to get stuff to cook a meal as basic as me. Spaghetti and meatballs. Got Spaghetti found sauce. Went looking for frozen meatballs like most stores have. Their freezer section is 3/4 empty. I did find some chicken wings to cook though. While I was walking through the store I was noticing the prices for name brand was significantly cheaper than store brand so I thought, "hmm Ben, that's odd better get the good stuff" so I did. This is a very nice Food 4 Less, which I did not expect driving up the parking lot. The parking lot is crazy crowded like driving up to a swap meet. As I walked in I lost my coordination, usually I take a right (in LA) to enter a Food 4 Less, here it is left. The place is bigger, cleaner and spacier than I am used to. I felt like a lost tourist in there, looking around with awe and wonder, taking pictures with my iPhone. The only reason I came here was to get some bread (my wife told me to) and I bought 2 bags of NEW Cheetos GIANT. I will definitely return to this store, to spend Less 4 Food. read more

This place is horrible. I've come here several times and there are no sanitized carts. To top it off you have to find a cart and sanitize it yourself. This establishment doesn't care about their customers in the midst of COVID. They should be taking stronger methods to ensure the safety of their customers. Its great to go to your neighborhood grocery store, coffee shop, and any business and know those who work there. This store has a sense of family for their regular customers. We know the workers here by name and they make our shopping experience smoother and friendlier. "Community-Business-ing" is what I'll call it. I LOVE this Food 4 Less! They keep every type of horchata and chocolate milk known to man in stock. Their quickie protein shakes are cheaper than anywhere else in San Diego. Their fruits & vegetables are cheap... But the main reason I love them? Their hot deli! The small heated deli featured various cheaply-priced, preheated finger food items such as chicken strips, chicken nuggets, spicy buffalo wings, etc. all prepackaged and ready to go! And the bag they come in is microwaveable, so you can always save them and reheat them for another time! If there's one reason to go here, it's to buy a pound or 2 of precooked chicken nuggets! This is my food for us and I go to to buy my groceries at is the sister store to Ralph it's in Chula Vista and Hillcrest. I go to buy my favorite item in the store there chicken and roasted rotisserie chicken yummy and the chicken wings. The stores clean the services that really good and if you can't find something it's always a clerk there to help you find it. I loved this store until I had the worst experience ever . I don't complain because I work in the customer service industry and I know how hard everyone works . I called to talk to the manager to politely let him know that he has cockroaches in his bathroom. He continued to make excuse after excuse about why there would be cockroaches in the bathroom. But the womens room is always open I'm a man a disabled veteran and sometimes well most of the time the mens room is out of order. If you ever come here you are bagging you own things. after 20 minutes of waiting the person in charge opens another line. She calls 3 of us over. We head over she helps the first person while talking to all the other employees. She was trying to find her sister that doesn't work there a ride home. This Food4Less (and the plaza itself) is very unique, because the community owns it. One thing that you find here that you don't find in others is their ambassadors, that are willing to help when needed. I've been them help little old ladies load bags of dog food into their cars. The store seems to have a wider selection of those fruit smoothies available then in the other F4L's I've been to. The best time to go is early in the morning because the lines here suck. Seriously. This F4L is located near the trolley station, its also in a plaza with Starbucks, Asia Wok, and other businesses. The parking here is not bad at all unless theres a special event at the Jacob Center. I personally think this is the worst food 4 less i've ever been in! All I wanted was the $22 weekly special Hennessy bottle, I asked if he can check in the back, his response was "no if its not on the shelf we don't have anymore" thats funny because I came into f4l on Friday (two days ago) and there was none in the glass case just like today & I asked my cashier who was a real nice Hispanic woman (i didnt look at her name tag) and she checked the back for me which really is the front of the store and she brought out a bottle, basically Leroy today was being a lazy fuck and did not want to go check, i should of been a douche and asked for 20 bottles on a raincheck slip! He basically wasted my time and its not like my line was extremely long either, out of courtesy many employees mainly the hispanic ones have been real nice (I'm not trying to say its a race thing, I'm just stating facts and experiences). After all that I went through at this f4l I asked Leroy to go ahead and put back my Coca Cola that I had planned on purchasing with my alcohol and I left and I went to the food 4 less off University Ave and got two bottles.I hate going in to this f4l, I always get bad customer service no matter what time of day im in here, if this was my last resort then I will go in here but I rather make my purchases at the Mission Valley, La Mesa, and University Ave locations at least the cleanliness of these locations are way better than this one too and I get more smiles than pouty employees with terrible customer service not knowing how to do their job.
