For the most part the store is clean and well stocked in the mornings. On this particular morning the staff was stocking the store but no one greets the customers, or acknowledges us in any way. They were having personal conversations loudly as they worked and stocked the shelves. The cashier was nice enough though. If you have no choice and need something real quick then stop here. Overall 5/10, because the store is pretty clean. The parking lot gets quite full as well.

Granted .. I use certain brands but still... prices are good here!

I have never heard of this store and went here with my Son to grab a few items. This is the cheapest grocery store I've seen in long time as they still have deals that were offered pre-Covid. I couldn't believe my eyes walking in and seeing some of the prices. The only thing that keeps confusing me about Cali is the fact, that you have to pay for grocery bags. I'd definitely shop here if we had one in AZ. The fresh produce looked as if it were delivered directly from the farms lol Everyone here were friendly.

Dead MOUSE ON THE CHECKOUT BELT

This place needs to be shut down down!!! Dead mice or on the counters / grocery belts. I told a manager and she said no for real and kept on going

Food 4 less is where I go if I want to shop groceries on a budget. They have everything that Winco or stater bros, but at a cheaper price. The fruit they have is also at a lower quality. There's nothing really special about this place. At night it seems pretty dangerous because there's people that just roam the parking lot. But it's also convenient because it's the last place that sells good alcohol at the later part of night. I go here to buy cleaning and kitchen supplies. I don't go here all the time because the fruit is really sour.

I wanted to acknowledge the employees at Food4less, excellent customer service and professional, beautiful personalities. Erika was our cashier, she's a people person " my aunt and I needed help baging our groceries and she called, for someone to assist us " her name was Cat excellent personality, she was amazing and helped us but our groceries in the car. Keep up the good work. I'm a satisfied customer.

Yah, a ghetto picture for a ghetto store. Beats it being a pictureless entry.

Given the field I work in, I take notice of such where ever I run around. This place is not that great for security or one's personal safety. Yes, I know it's a grocery store but I bring up the important factor of ones safety while coming and going from somewhere. This place gets ghetto scary when the sun goes down. I mean you will find transients, beggers, bums, and other misc. questionables hanging around the front of the store as well as in the parking lot. In the times I've been here I have seen at least two very heated arguments happening in the parking lot (this venue's parking lot is 4 or 5 rows with about 10 slots deep in each row, which is really really small for an actual grocery store parking lot). Security? No where to be found. The times I have found them, they are off in some corner talking with friends or whoever it is. The store itself? It's your average food store. Some good deals here and there and some cheap prices. If you have to come here, come during the day. It's not worth risking your safety for a dollar or two of savings.

I observed a team of very busy ladies with pleasant attitudes, welcoming body language, and I imagine smiles under their well covered masked faces! I was greeted by Adriana, who stopped working to go retrieve my order. The cupcakes are for my granddaughters team party today. I give Cherise, their head bakery full flowers for an awesome presentation! Each little one will have yummy cupcakes and a ring! It takes skill and patience for my order of 24 to be perfect! Great job! The design is perfect for us and age appropriate. She is truly gifted with craft and expertise. Liz was carefully cutting fruit and designing several dishes at once. Her gloved hands demonstrated how much care she put into her every stroke. Lea made the cake pops desired and provided a presentation that made me want to purchase those too! Bright and beautiful! Mary Helen was nearby preparing the deli chicken with dynamite care. Although I came for the wonderful cupcakes that Cherise provided with care, I left with an amazing smile, feeling refreshed at such awesome technical care that goes into each bakery item. But watch out cause they sell out :) I've been coming here for the past 25 years, ever since I was a little kid. It's an awesome mom-and-pop type of shop for your Korean grocery needs. So, it wasn't until the other day, that I realized I could fulfill my Korean dream meal another way, a homemade meal. Of course, it helped that my daughter had already announced that she was making bbq beef, Korean style, and that we were invited over. That got my salivary glands going. What could I bring? This mom and pop market popped up on Yelp as being nearby, and happened to be a place I had driven by and ignored for too many years. They cater to Korean tastes and appeared to have exactly what I needed, unlike another, oversized Chinese-based grocery nearby where I manage to get lost, confused, and lose all focus, while trying to communicate with hand gestures to elusive store personnel. Usually its comic and I am a complete failure. I was totally unprepared for this, but I think I fell in love with Saet Byul the minute I stepped inside. The lovely lady at the cash register (owner?) spoke impeccable English and was so friendly and informative. There was limited but fresh, quality produce, items that are traditionally used in this type of cuisine. There were multiple, large freezers that lined the walls, full of ready-made appetizers, ready-to-eat frozen soups, and ready-to-cook, thinly sliced meats. Shelves upon shelves of exotic Asian sauces and so many other canned, dry, and preserved ingredients. The more I wandered, the greater my excitement. Towards the back of the tiny store was a small kitchen setup where another woman was busily working. On what, I can only guess, but she might have been assembing more packages of the freshly rolled kimbap (the healthy, Korean version of sushi) that were sitting on the cashier's counter. In one refrigerator cabinet was a wonderful variety of ready-to-eat banchan, each carefully labeled and dated. The banchan was exactly what I was looking for! I chose a container each of freshly made seaweed salad, pickled radish, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, snatched a tub of green tea ice cream, and a bag of super fresh bean sprouts that would eventually be anointed with toasted sesame oil. Then tossed a tray of kimbap in my cart (Imagine getting two full rolls,18 fat pieces, for a mere $7), plus a bag of shrimp crackers for good measure. Oh, and don't forget a large bag of toasted, seasoned seaweed sheets for snacking. The banchan was outstanding, but don't take my opinion as gospel. This came from my son-in-law who usually turns up his nose to such "time-wasters" as vegetables, especially things that look spicy. The pickle cucumbers and pickled radish coins were particularly addictive, but all were so wonderful. I am thrilled over this discovery. The only shortcoming, but not really, is the lack of a butchery section and fresh seafood. For that, the big markets are still the place to go. For the rest of the necessities, this is a real gem.
