She specifically told me to go for the wide variety of vegan/plant based selections as well as the awesome discounts they give on things that are close to going out of date. Let me tell you- I'm so happy I did! I got 3 packs of plant based meat for .99 cents, and a lot of other items worth around $6 each just for .99 cents. If you pay attention, yes Ingles can be a bit pricy, but notice the sales- you can find prices here better than any other store if it's on sale! They carry a LOT of local items and items made by small businesses too, which I love. Lastly, their bakery, deli, salad bar, and hot food bar are insanely large! A must try? The pistachio muffin! Scrumptious! This is our new go to grocer. I can't believe I finally found some of my favorite brands I haven't seen since I worked at Sprouts down in Florida!

Food was ready at 11am and it rarely ever was before. Food was hot and smelled great. I asked the manager where deli staff was. He said we've hired all new deli staff. More people left the day I did. There was a long line this morning. Good. People have come back as I have and hope to put this store back on my list again. The food was delicious and the staff very efficient. In the last year, we've been to ALDIs in Jacksonville FL, Middletown RI and Somerset KY. They're consistent with the same products, same layout and same system from store to store across the 22 states where we've shopped. As we're heading home today, this was that first stop for our weekly shop. We got eggs and bread and cheese and produce and fresh chickens and pretty much everything on the shopping list that will make tonight's dinner and this week's lunches.
