Chicken Salad Chick is a chain, fast-casual restaurant that is mostly based in the South. It has…read morerecently been going viral so I wanted to try it out. The star of the show is their chicken salad which comes in fruity, traditional, savory, and spicy flavors. Other than their chicken salad (which comes in scoops to eat with crackers or in a sandwich), there are some simple sides (e.g., chips, soup). I believe their soups change from time to time. The inside of this location is pretty basic with the usual amount of tables and seats for a fast-casual restaurant. I ordered online and I was handed my order at the front by a very nice worker! I got the Kickin' Kay Lynne on a croissant along with a side of Loaded Potato Soup. The Kickin' Kay Lynne was under the spicy part of their menu and it has a bunch of good flavors including ranch, bacon, cheddar cheese, Sriracha, jalapeños, and more. I kind of wish it had a stronger kick, but it tasted solid on the croissant. The order also came with a pickle (delicious) and a buttercream cookie, which was a nice addition. I enjoyed the Loaded Potato Soup more than I thought I would. It was not salty at all, which surprised me in a good way. It was warm, creamy, and tasty! I definitely want to come back to try the other flavors on the menu as there is a lot to choose from. And while chicken salad is not anything fancy, I really felt like the food was like a warm hug to me. It tasted simple but enough to satisfy me.

This Carolina born restaurant has been serving chicken, biscuits, tea & more since 1977. The dining…read moreroom had cushioned chairs, which I liked & they were quite comfortable. The tables were cleared but most were not wiped down. The music was too loud & the AC too cold. Counter service was fast & friendly. I had the Bo Bites Combo with two sauces, Dirty Rice & Watermelon Tea. The Bites were really pretty big, the chicken was okay & it was crispy. I didn't care for the two sauces (Bo's Special Sauce & Peach Honey Pepper), I much preferred the Ranch Sauce for dipping. The Dirty Rice was great & very tasty, but the cook temperature wasn't hot. The star of the meal was the tea, it was delicious & refreshing! Next time I'll try their breakfast menu, which is served all day...the Biscuit Meals look inviting.

There was approximately 6 individuals behind the counter and no one would wait on us It took about 3 minutes for anyone to notice us. They showed no respect and made the shake for which I had to wait on as they did not offer to bring to my table. By that time my food was cold. They acted like it was no big deal that it had happened. I will not eat there again as the service was lousy and not friendly. But that is ok word of mouth travels fast in these situations!!
