Phone covers and battery chargers are some of things that can be found. The shop can be found right opposite the Town bus station on St. Michael Street and it is pretty easy to find. U Talk Fone's also sell video games although you won't find many as you would in say for instance Gamestation or Game. I know some of my friends who have had their phones repaired at U Talk Fone's and they have said they would go their again if their phone needed repairing. Staff are friendly but to be honest I would be more comfortable going to a phone company store (e.g. Orange, T-Mobile) rather than a shop like U Talk Fone's.

Worst phone repair shop I could have been to, my iPhone 4s had a screen replacement at this shop…read more It cost me £30 which I will never see again. The replacement was very poor, after having my phone back I checked it over to find a grey downed screen, the wrong fitting button, the speaker cover missing and my signal dropping completely - my phone was even struggling to connect to any network. I went straight back into the shop and was waved off immediately, the repair is fine, the button will adjust, the cover isn't needed and to access my service I had to connect it to my laptop. That was all a complete lie just to get me out of the shop, I left and phoned my dad we went in the next day. Was told the repair was wrong and they would redo it free of charge, we were pleased with this so the day after me and my friend went in and again we were told to leave, the phone repair was fine. Needless to say I haven't been back, after getting my phone repaired by someone who knew what they were doing we found out my aerial was bent out of shape, the screen was not genuine, the cover was just not put on and was still attached to the screen, the button was an iPad button and best of all screws were missing, fakes and my screen was being held in by two screws (out of four), one fake and one real. When I first entered the shop I was told that I was not allowed to wait within the shop, after arguing I was told that my phone would be taken into the back to be repaired, after passing the shop twenty minutes later there was my phone being repaired on the counter as they sat and chatted to another customer. I went in and was immediately told to leave and if I stayed the problems to my phone would be my own fault. The shop is incredibly rude and I could not believe the rudeness I encountered in there, I feel it was because I was a younger female they tried to take advantage of me by exploiting that I would not know much about repairs. Save to say I will never return and I warn anyone that ever goes near the shop.

This is another phone store where you can get your mobiles unlocked or repaired. Phone accessories can be purchased along with new and used mobile phones. International calling cards can be brought from Fonez Direct since the shop has links with Lebara. The new mobiles on offer are pretty good and the used mobiles on display are not bad either. Maybe this is a place where you can buy decent phones from. Apart from the phone network stores, there haven't been any other places where I have seen a phone and want to buy it. In this store I have to say there were one or two phones I was tempted to buy. But in the end I didn't. However I was still impressed with the phones on offer here and the staff do know their products inside out. They are there to help.

I bought my first mobile phone about 12 years ago now. It was a pay as you go with text messages,…read moreas they were the latest thing at the time. The phone I owned had a very basic black and white LCD screen, nothing like today's phones that come equipped with pretty much everything. With the advent of SMS, MMS and face time, phones today have become like mini laptops. People invest hundreds in Smart Phones, phones that have the capability to go online, do your shopping, change your life etc. This shop caters for mobile phones. They sell phones, international calling cards and mobile phone accessories. They also have trained staff that can unblock your phone if it is stuck on a certain network. The problem is that too many off these shops are on our high streets. It would be ok if just a few of them existed, but this is just like the next one and the next one and the next one. I'm already starting to get bored.
