Description of staff member a woman with gray tinker bell hair cut in her late 60s. Today I was picking my kindergartener up from school. I'm fully aware we are NOT allowed to leave our vehicles unattended. However, my child's class dismissal area was not even a foot away from my vehicle from where I was standing near my passenger door. I stood there so the could see I was present and the teacher would release my them to me where I could load my child into the car. They cannot open a SUV car door by themselves due to size. This person started yelling at all the families standing in the area saying "whose vehicle is this?" Which I understand why she was calling that question out. But this is where it went all wrong! I told her it is mine while I had my child in hand as I walked them to the car door. I was telling my child to hurry up because she was angry. And she overheard me saying that & she starts to argue to me in front of my kid as I'm strapping them into the car seat. As I begin to pull away there was two vehicles ahead of me, which were completely stopped and I motion to her to tell them to move as well, because she was screaming at me prior and I wasn't even blocking traffic. This lady proceeds to come up to my passenger window where I roll my window down to speak to her, and she proceeded to start screaming at me in front of my child. Instead of her acknowledging me and making it known to the other vehicles that they need to move also. She ended up screaming at me for the second time which this time I wasn't calm. I had to roll up my window because my child was absolutely frightened by how aggressive she was!!!!! Please note all the other families standing near my car heard her hostile tone she had out the gate towards me instead of being professional. All she has to do is tell me calmly the first time that I can't leave my car and that would of been the end of it. But because she decided to choose violence here I am leaving a honest review so families know the type of employees they hire here. I'm going to reach out to the district next because this is disgusting. Do better!

I had found out my children were going to this school , I PROVIDED ALL INFORMATION SHOWING I AM THEIR MOTHER AND THEY'VE BEEN IN MY CARE (the father had his girlfriend on all the records for the school claiming she was the children's mother) this school asked for no type of proof , RECORDS, ANYTHING! I informed them they can call law enforcement (I had all proper documentation) just for the school to call their dad to immediately pick them up . This made it so much MORE DIFFICULT TO LOCATE MY CHILDREN AND CONFIRM THEIR SAFETY! This school IS HORRIBLE AND SAFETY IS NOT A PRIORITY AT ALL! The school must realize they were VERY WRONG because I pulled my children out of the school after involving Folsom Police in an effort to locate my children AFTER ALL THIS MESS ! They're fortunate I don't get an attorney and sue the school district for negligence. Maybe only until a kid gets ran over by a car will they start to do something. I have spoken to most of my neighbors on ambassador and they have complained and reached out to the school with the same concerns. Yet the school has done nothing to fix this issue.

Her first week was absolutely packed with fun activities. They did tie-dye, a color run, and even took a hike to the park. She absolutely loved it, and it felt like there was always something going on. The second week was a little different. There didn't seem to be as many planned activities, and she mentioned having quite a bit more downtime. It wasn't necessarily bad, but after such a fun and activity-filled first week, I think we were both expecting a little more. The campus itself is really nice, and one thing I appreciated was that there weren't a ton of kids in her camp group. I want to say there were around eight kids, which made it feel smaller and more personal. They also had a really fun potluck, and I've heard they sometimes take bike rides to a local coffee shop, which sounds like such a fun little adventure for the kids. Overall, my daughter enjoyed her time there, especially that first week. I just wish the activities had been a little more consistent from week to week. If both weeks had been like the first one, this easily would have been a 5-star experience. Helpful tip: If you're signing your child up for multiple weeks, just know that the activities may vary quite a bit depending on the week.

No one is a number here. Faculty and staff know students well and are very invested in students' intellectual and emotional growth. The school has a wonderful theater program and everyone who wishes to participate may. This is also the case for all other extracurricular offerings -- Speech and Debate, Athletics, etc. I don't think enough people are aware this wonderful school is here, and that needs to change.
