All parents beware of Russle Ranch Staff Member!!…read more I'm absolutely appalled this staff member is even allowed to be working along children and parents. Description of staff member a woman with gray tinker bell hair cut in her late 60s. Today I was picking my kindergartener up from school. I'm fully aware we are NOT allowed to leave our vehicles unattended. However, my child's class dismissal area was not even a foot away from my vehicle from where I was standing near my passenger door. I stood there so the could see I was present and the teacher would release my them to me where I could load my child into the car. They cannot open a SUV car door by themselves due to size. This person started yelling at all the families standing in the area saying "whose vehicle is this?" Which I understand why she was calling that question out. But this is where it went all wrong! I told her it is mine while I had my child in hand as I walked them to the car door. I was telling my child to hurry up because she was angry. And she overheard me saying that & she starts to argue to me in front of my kid as I'm strapping them into the car seat. As I begin to pull away there was two vehicles ahead of me, which were completely stopped and I motion to her to tell them to move as well, because she was screaming at me prior and I wasn't even blocking traffic. This lady proceeds to come up to my passenger window where I roll my window down to speak to her, and she proceeded to start screaming at me in front of my child. Instead of her acknowledging me and making it known to the other vehicles that they need to move also. She ended up screaming at me for the second time which this time I wasn't calm. I had to roll up my window because my child was absolutely frightened by how aggressive she was!!!!! Please note all the other families standing near my car heard her hostile tone she had out the gate towards me instead of being professional. All she has to do is tell me calmly the first time that I can't leave my car and that would of been the end of it. But because she decided to choose violence here I am leaving a honest review so families know the type of employees they hire here. I'm going to reach out to the district next because this is disgusting. Do better!

The teachers and staff take a Strategic approach on our children providing them with the tools for growth in all aspects of learning. Many of which are involved in after school programs such as; Tutoring, Chess, and sports. Our children have been enrolled now for 3 consecutive years. They have grown from individual goals and are continuously challenged in multiple areas. We could not be more pleased then to have found this school and home to raise our children. The school holds themself as the best school in rancho, however, they need a better system for drop off / pick ups. This mess creates an environment where kids are going to get hurt. Cars drive crazy, park wherever they feel like and pass up cars on the wrong side of the road. What are they waiting for ? Maybe only until a kid gets ran over by a car will they start to do something. I have spoken to most of my neighbors on ambassador and they have complained and reached out to the school with the same concerns. Yet the school has done nothing to fix this issue.

Wow! Super surprised there isn't a review yet!…read more School looks really nice. Well kept, yet limited parking. Interaction with the staff has been pleasant so far. The kiddo started Kindergarten today. Registration process went smooth. I heard the school was impacted, so some kids were getting sent via bus to other schools. Library looks awesome! Lots of books. We had to go there for some ESL testing. I guess they are required to test when there is more than one language spoken at home. Little did they know the 5 year old was fluent in sarcasm, too! Haha!! Me the kiddo's Kindergarten teacher. He was put into a 10:25am-1:46pm class. Note--they aren't given a school lunch in Kinder, but do get a 30 minute recess where they can eat snacks brought from home. It sounds like they look for a lot of volunteer work and donations. $40 donation for classroom supplies and cheetah bags for each student--which makes sense if they are trying to be fair and equal. My son goes by his middle name, and they are attempting to make him use his first name (long story). The role of a teacher is to teach, yet my child struggles with things constantly. The teacher isn't doing the teaching. A total waste of money. They also make your kids memorize scripture, which is a worst way to instill biblical values. This makes them hate the Bible. Rather than actual teaching of the Bible, they make kids memorize verses without even knowing their context. Do we need to define the word "teacher" to this school?

It may be in a "yuppie" area, but BV accepts all kinds equally and fairly! I'm not saying kids didn't get picked on (cuz I know I did) but I feel at least when I went there, it wasn't so cliquey, so yes the cheerleaders hung out w/ the jocks, but that's h.s.) but the class of '99 & 2000 were very close and I feel we were a good group :) Academically we rocked as well as our band....sports...ehhh, not so much lol I had some favorite teacher's. Old, OSHA violations in the cafeteria & stage, bland, food that is very easily the worst out of any school I've ever seen, unappealing visuals, confusing layout, unregulated racism and bigotry among students, and a lack of school spirit. The school staff are alright, not bad. Generally helpful. Some have passion. Don't take the painting class, the teacher is notoriously rude and unhelpful. It gets the job done, but if you're looking to move to the Sacramento area, I would consider looking into adjacent cities with better schools.
