The only issue I ever had was with the office and being able to schedule my sons when they are sick since COVID started. I never understood why I was never able to just make an appnt for my sons to be seen when they were sick and having to wait for a call back to be scheduled. There have a been a couple of times I would patiently wait for hours to get that call, and when I did I would be lucky if I could get in the same day. A couple months ago I finally had enough of dealing with that process and had to resort to taking my son to urgent care when he was really sick because I did not want to have to wait for a call back to be scheduled for an appnt, not knowing if my son would be able to be seen in a timely manner. Fast forward to today..... Called Dr. Harts office around 2:00pm and was actually able to schedule an appnt without waiting for a call back!!!! There was no provider available to see my son at the Citrus Heights office but was offered a virtual visit over Zoom with another provider from another clinic (something else that is new as I have never been offered to schedule with another clinic for these urgent concerns). Was able to see the provider by 5:15pm and have my son prescribed Zofran to help him be able to keep food and liquid down. Was also given great homecare advice to keep him from getting dehydrated, and out of the ER. If it wasn't for this amazing change I may have had to take my son to urgent care with an emisis bag to get him the help he needed ASAP, possibly exposing all those people to COVID (yes, he tested positive). THANK YOU Dignity, and Dr. Hart's office for improving the process of scheduling for your patients. I am one happy Mama!

Dr Gould's Staff very helpful and some of them even seen all of my kids grow up. Now my granddaughter get to be a part of the PMA patients and visit Dr Gould. One of our daughters experienced a very complex medical issue that landed us in the hospital with multiple admissions. We felt like we were left on our own to navigate this very difficult time. She had chronic respiratory issues and there were times I asked for multiple referrals to further investigate what was wrong with her. It felt like it was an inconvenience to send those instead being open to investigating all options. We often felt shrugged off. In the end, the specialty that diagnosed her problem was the referral that he didn't want to send. One of the times when we were in the PICU with our daughter, he came in and told us we should stop using her home pulse ox on her foot. I truly believe that thing saved her and actually ended up providing helpful information as she was aspirating and would drop into the 70's in her sleep. What a truly inappropriate time to even bring that up to very scared parents. We have since been into the office for an unrelated issue with the NP. There was concern of possible strep. A rapid swab was done as well as throat culture but the culture was never sent. I sent the provider 2 messages to follow up and she never responded. Super frustrating experience.

He is holistic minded, understand parents who want a more natural approach and does an exponential job explaining everything & making sure we are making decisions based on education. Because he is so amazing, it may take a while to become an established patient and he does his pricing different, but that's what works for him and his office. And he has every right to run his office the way he wants. It may not be the right fit for everyone- and that's okay! Additionally, I just wanted to express how grateful I am for all the times I had to make an emergency appointment and their staff was able to get me in the same day or next day to get the best care for my daughter. The homeopathic remedies works wonders!! I'm always amazed at how quickly her symptoms subside and her body is able to better adapt to the situation. I had a lot of qualities that the Doctor would need to possess and needless to say Dr. Allen went way above and beyond. My son was born woth a rare genetic disease which did not really take full effect until his second birthday. Dr. allen was able to see he was showing signs of delay very early on and referred us to the early start program. He was so kind as to encourage us with a message of hope that we would help Finn overcome his challenges. He was able to supply us with healthier options for teething issues, as well as, giving us advice on sleeping and preventing fevers. Dr. Allen helped us navigate the devastating turn shortly after my son's second birthday. After a two month stay at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, our first stop was to see Dr. Allen. He was very quick to help build back up the encouragement that Finn is going to do exactly what Finn is going to do. Dr. Allen has given us a deeper insight on labs and diagnosis, he has been wonderul at giving us supplements to help combat the side effects for the nasty medication he needs to be on and hes helped with pain management. He has also given us so much help when we have emergency hospital visits. He has supported mothers intuition (which has been right thus far) he has referred us to compassionate specialists. All I can say is, we live Dr. Allen. He and his team and a bright and guiding light during our very dark journey and I am so grateful yo have such a caring, honest and intelligent doctor double check the qork of everyone else that is involved in Finns life. ALL of the medical assistants are so respectful & attentive. All doctors are very focused on the individual needs of our kids instead of treating them as a group and passing them on. I truly appreciate that Dr. Avala took our concerns about our baby's head shape and quickly made a referral for that. The baby well check up was very much informative. We first met the student doctor Amir who was very informative, helpful, and kind. With him we discussed my baby's growth and milestones and then we followed up with Dr. Avala. We also caught our baby up with vaccines and made our next appointment for her 9 month check up.

He has a superb reputation in our community and is in high demand, yet we never feel rushed during our visits. He feels like part of the family. One of my boys has chronic problems due to a birth defect and Dr. O'Malley always makes great judgement calls on specialty referrals and diagnostic testing. When our insurance changed we elected to pay for a more expensive plan so we could continue with Dr. O'Malley. In our book he is truly the best! Another reviewer gave Dr. O'Malley one star for a bad experience with a receptionist and they had never even been a patient -- very unfair! Dr jammal said it wasn't and went to check, leaving us in the room for 15 minutes (which is a regular practice here at this office, you have to ask to leave which is uncomfortable and frankly unprofessional) I poked my head into the hall and asked if it was ok for us to go and went to fill the prescription. My daughter has been on it for three years, and after we filled the prescription we moved houses and lost the bottle. I called the office to ask about getting a refill, as it is not something you can just stop taking cold turkey. Dr jammal called me back and basically yelled at me on the phone saying this was a controlled substance and that she refused to fill it, even for a taper off dosage or emergency refill. She said we were "on our own" and instead referred us to a psychiatrist which we booked an appointment for after an hour and a half on hold but the soonest appointment was a week out even urgently requested. My daughter is now going through withdrawals because this doctor puts her own reputation and comfort and "vibes" over her patients wellbeing. Disgusting care, I will be pulling all three of my children and will never return here. Any doctor who chooses to mistrust a parent who is advocating for the care of their child (and who has made a mistake) and is choosing to punish the child instead of providing care shouldn't be treating children.
