I have been a patient of Dr. Tobalina since I moved to the area in 2013....a patient for the past 10 YEARS, and I can count on one hand the number of times I have been able to actually see Dr. Tobalina. She has virtually ZERO availability, and if you are lucky enough to snag an appointment with her weeks ahead of time, there is a very high probability you will get a phone call indicating that her schedule changed, she has to deal with a personal matter, or whatever...and you'll get pushed onto another member of the team. But my biggest disappointment with this medical establishment happened in 2020-21. I was suffering from tremendous pain from gallstones for months. It seems like it would be a slam dunk diagnosis; however, for some reason it took Tobalina way too long to discover I was full of gallstones, and was suffering frequent attacks. I was referred by Tobalina to this quack that botched the surgery to remove my gallbladder. I spent 3 WEEKS in the hospital as a result. Tobalina received updates regarding my condition all the while I was in the hospital, but I received no follow-up inquiry from her as to how I was doing. One of the reasons I chose Dr. Tobalina when I moved here was because I wanted the personal attention of an all-around family doctor....but I've been left very disappointed in that regard. Flash forward to today....I am experiencing sharp pains in the approximate location where my gallbladder used to be, and I fear it is connected to the previous botched surgery. After reaching out to make an appointment with Tobalina, I again get the runaround about her availability, and I'm forced to make an appointment with another member of her staff who knows nothing about my gallbadder history....so much for being MY doctor. I am in quite a bit of pain, but the very best they could do is give me an appointment with "Dr. Who the Heck Knows" a WEEK FROM NOW. If you're a woman, don't expect to receive any sort of reminders for well-woman exams, mammograms, etc....because that is apparently all up to you to remember and schedule. I constantly have to dig around in my files in order to figure out what I'm due for. Finally, I want to point out that I previously also had my child see Tobalina (or whoever they stuck him with), but I had to change his doctor on account of there being very little knowledge of pediatric care in this office. Perhaps that was me being naive in having my son see the same doctor as me, but again, I had this crazy idea about having a FAMILY DOCTOR.

For example, I've struggled with generalized anxiety disorder and depression for years. My last doc wanted to give me whatever drug they were pushing, ignored the debilitating side effects that I reported, insisting that I continue taking this drug for several more weeks before they would consider changing it. In fact, when I persisted in requesting something else, or something I could take just as needed, my former doc *yelled* at me in the exam room. The side effects of that medication were intolerable, so I stopped taking it and just struggled along for several more years. Finally our insurance changed, and the hubs found Dr. Grove... At my first visit I literally cried in her office, just because she heard me, heard what I was saying (Dr's often hear what they think, not what is actually being said), understood my aversion to medications, and didn't judge me for not wanting to take a daily pill. She actually worked with me as an individual to create a plan that took my quirks into account. I never feel rushed in our appointments either, which is another common Dr. gripe that I have- they want to get you in the exam room, take the vitals, write a Rx and/or schedule tests and get you out asap. Not so with Dr. Grove, she listens, asks questions, and learns about her patients to give the best care. I'll only go to Dr. Grove for the rest of my life, if at all possible. Highly recommend!!

I was a new mom with a very sick child, shy, and didn't know how to speak up for myself. So, I figured my 9:00am appt was stalled till 10:00, because I saw Greenberg coming in the front door with a specialty coffee. I thought he was just running late. When I saw him come back from lunch at 1:00pm I was pretty sure we had been overlooked. I'm pretty sure they would have closed up shop for the night and locked me and my child inside had I not finally spoken up and asked why we had not yet been seen by the good doctor. Finally got in, no apologies and nothing but attitude and anger at me because they had made a mistake. Folsom is lucky to have such a neurotic and angry "doctor" far and away from patients. Hopefully, he's publishing now...or the alternative.

Cliff called to say he was losing a lot of weight did not matter to them At his 6 month check up they said stop taking the new meds immediately You might feel sick this weekend not being on them. Cliff is the father of 4 He was still working at Intel He was sick that weekend and gone that Monday. Since then I have talked to ICU nurses they said people often get hospitalized when there meds are changed.

We had been to see her multiple times seeking help on this issue. In my opinion Dr. Priest is another compromised Dr who is captured by the pharma industry and who puts her own pocketbook before the health of her patients.
