I also snagged a bag of chips from the giant selection and a soda for the road. There are no tables inside and it was winter so I took it to go. Even though I hadn't eaten all day, I held off until I got to my hotel about 30 minutes away where I proceeded to devour half of this overstuffed cheesy monstrosity of a sandwich in the front seat of my car (had to wait to check in). After ten years of regular travel, I know it's not impossible to find flavorful meals in an airport...but they're still rare. Often times it feels as if eateries don't try because they don't have to--you're in an enclosed environment with minimal choices and you often need sustenance.
