It should be called Melanie's the ultimate nightmare. I wish I can give this place negative stars…read more I came here after another salon made me too light. I came in with a picture 2 months before my appointment and showed the stylist during my consultation what I wanted from the start. I was also considering going for a natural all over color. Once my appointment came, I finally decided to go with the highlights instead. The stylist said my hair wouldn't look exactly like the picture, when previously she said it would. So instead she searched pictures online and suggested some suggestions. I reluctantly agreed. I'm too nice of a person to say no blatantly. She made me completely dark and took away the blonde I wanted so badly! I didn't say anything but it said "it was better than before." The receptionist said my hair looked look nice and Cassandra did a great job, ha! The lighting in the salon sucks. My color came out completely brassy and didn't notice it and properly see it until I got home. So I called and asked for it to be fixed. I came in again and she toned my hair. Less brassy but even darker than before and nothing like the picture she picked! Insane. I still wasn't happy and I asked if she can redo it or a refund from the owner. The stylist said she was uncomfortable since my hair was over processed thanks to her! Before I even got my hair colored she said my hair was ok just a little dry. She had the audacity to say I was indecisive when I had showed her a picture two months prior. The owner stood by her "stylist's" word. She offered to take me back to my natural color which isn't what I wanted, I asked for a refund. I knew I wasn't going to get what I paid for back so I made an appointment and purposely was a no show. I made a dospute with my credit card company. The owner, stylist and receptionists are complete liars. How can someone be indecisive when they show the stylist a picture 60 days in advance?!! All their responses were rehearsed, apparently the owner thinks I came in to the salon for "free work." You couldn't pay me to come to such a horrible place and I have the money. Also, the receptionist and owner claimed I told them them about my other mishap at another salon, which is also a lie. I never met the owner until the second visit and didn't even speak to her nor the receptionist. I spoke to the stylist what happened previously. In the dispute the stylist said I said it was better! I may have said that but better isn't what I asked for. The receptionist also claimed I said "I like it very much!" I have never said that statement in my life, Lol! Avoid this place at all cost! Complete waste of time and money. Most horrific salon experience of my life.

We both chose gel polished. The amount of time it took for my sisters manicure and pedicure was equivalent to my manicure. That didn't seem right. It felt rushed, and not very relaxing for her. The lady doing my nails fixed two spots my sisters technician ignored. She was adamant about making it "right." All in all our nails looked decent. So that's 4-5 stars. However it just felt like it was a bit lacking compared to other salons we have visited. Strongly recommend appointments. They turned two guests away due to the wait for other walk ins.
