Things to know ahead of time!!! Water isn't just water and free dessert isn't always free!!! We went for an early Father's Day / fancy family dinner as it was the first time for us going to the location in Towson. The food was excellent!!! The entire family enjoyed the food. However, this style of multiple servers caused situations of duplicate requests, delayed deliveries of items and mixed level of quality. One of our servers was great but a few others that helped out did not keep up with things. A few things that we didn't expect or in the end we wished we knew ahead of time... we were under the impression there were dinner specials based on advertisements but when we arrived we were told they were not available. The next thing I guess I didn't expect was to pay for water. Forgot I was a tourist in Europe... I guess we didn't say tap water and received bottle water and spent $18 for 2 bottles for the family. The last thing and part of having multiple servers...we were offered a free dessert to go. So we said yes. After waiting an extra long time for it because of delays. We got it and then saw it was on our bill. We didn't want to call someone else over and wait longer. As the kids were getting rowdy by then. so we just paid and left. This Fogo de Chao is conveniently located at Towson Mall. There's no indoor entrance from the mall which is kind of inconvenient so it took us some time to find our way to the outdoor entrance from the mall parking garage. The service is very friendly but a bit disorganized. For example 3-4 different waiters came to our table to us once we were seated to see if still needed one. I think our waitress got reassigned to a different section bc we only saw her once. Once we finished our meal, no wait staff came over at all. I finally flagged down a lady who I think was the manager. I let her know one of our orders came with dessert. She cleared our plates but then we were again waiting for probably 30 mins for the dessert. It seemed apparent to me no one was going to come so I again had to flag down the manager for the dessert. She expressed surprise that no one had come by with a dessert menu. We decided to ask for the check the same time we ordered dessert just to avoid further delay. I got the churasco experience which was pretty neat and gives you access to the Market table. The ambience is nice although the sound decibels are pretty high since there are a lot of tables. I do recommend making a reservation. The restroom was clean. We would probably come back again for an occasion like we did for this one but I hope the service improves next time, particularly with the price you're paying to eat here. read more

We came here to celebrate our 5th anniversary dinner. I had done a search for local "fine dining," and I was wary once I learned this was a chain, but figured we'd try it out and at the very least get meat sweats. Firstly - this is not a fine dining experience, and I'm mad Google told me it would be. It's family friendly, which I know is a draw for many - but this was not the kind of night we were looking for. I suppose fine dining will never be "buffet style" and I should have considered that as well - it had been awhile since I'd been to a Brazilian steakhouse, so forgive me for forgetting the drill. I knew when we pulled up and it was attached to a mall that it was not going to be what I thought it was. The food was good. The meat was flavorful and the sides were colorful and bright (and mostly delicious). The desserts were well done (très leches and key lime pie). I normally would have wanted coffee with dessert, but our waitress had ended her shift and we were left kind of in limbo. She didn't tell us she was leaving (just waited for me to scan the QR code to give her and her partner a good review) and we had to get random people's attention for what we wanted (i.e., dessert, the check). We both got the $85 indulgent churrasco, and for the desserts it was probably worth it? Drinks (two sodas, non-alcoholic) were not included so our bill with tip wound up being $230. The food was good, the service was attentive (until our waitress left), and we had a nice night. I'm not sure it was a $230 night, but it wasn't awful. All I can say is, if you're like me, and thinking this is going to be a bit more on the nice side, just let that ish go. My husband and I went to the Daou wine dinner last night and had a fantastic time. The wine was great with a rose and 3 reds. Fogo even rolled out a new menu item, crab cakes that we were able to try and some offerings only available through the wine dinner. There weren't as many people last night as we are used to for the wine dinner but we had excellent service. Amber is always a delight to see when we show up. We had 4 courses and then dessert. They accommodated my allergy and adjusted my salad, but the lentil soup was very good. The crab cake was good and I was skeptical at first but it tastes clean and is full of lump crab. A charcuterie board was brought out to start and we had some prosecco. The salad we had came with roasted butternut squash and pear, which went very nicely with the rose. The crab cake was put on a bed of cabbage slaw that was honestly tasty and complimented well. The lamb chops were nice and the picanha is always a treat. I enjoyed the lobster mashed potatoes because the lobster wasn't overcooked and paired well with the red blend and the cab sav. This was attached to Towson mall, so we just parked in the lot and walked over. We went on a Friday afternoon and were able to immediately get seating at the bar. The bar seating was very comfortable as it was long tables attached to the bar. We tried their happy hour specials which came with the free brazilian cheese bread. The bread was my favorite part..so warm, buttery, and fluffy. We ordered the lamb chops, steak bites, mini burgers, and chicken legs. Everything was cooked perfectly. My favorite was the spicy chicken legs. They weren't actually spicy to me, more like a pickled pepper and slightly sweet. They were a little salty. read more

I've been to plenty of places similar to Fogo de Chao, but I must say that this particular location missed the mark. Although the decor is beautiful and cozy, what's being attempted in this small space makes for a chaotic atmosphere. Like other places the salad bar is accessible from multiple directions where this is reminiscent of a school lunch line. The food on the bar was poorly labeled for someone trying to identify if meat is in the dish or perhaps the type of meet. Service was okay but not as attentive as others. This Fogo is fantastic! I've only been to the downtown Baltimore location but when I was invited to go to their carnival bar night at Towson, I figured why not. Excellent staff. The manager was so friendly as well. This location is a little smaller than the Baltimore location but it's BEAUTIFUL and so cozy. I didn't see the market table, I just stuck to the bar area. All of the Brazilian bites were tasty just like other locations. Will recommend and return. read more

Let me start with saying that I like Fogo. I've been to several in different cities and states. When this one opened a few months ago, you could tell that they were working hard to get it right. So much changed! Service was slow and inattentive and messy. My tablecloth was splattered with blood because the "gauchos" were moving too fast and not paying attention to what they were doing. I came to this Fogo de Chao to take advantage of their $1 Caipirinha week long special before it ended and I left out of town. I had a grocery pickup order around the corner so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to take advantage of their all day happy hour, visit a new Fogo de Chao location, and also order a few of their $1 Caipirinhas. I made it in about an hour before they closed and quickly found a seat at the bar. The inside is definitely different than any of the other locations I have been to but I did like how they had private seating at the bar with tables that extended around the bar. Each table was enough for four people to sit at and was attached to the bar. I do know that this location used to be PF Changs and I'm wondering if this is how they're set up is so they kept it. I saw her came over to me shortly after and asked how I could be helped and I quickly let them know I wanted to order the $1 Caipirinhs, he quickly told me that it was only on Tuesdays and I asked him about the week-long special. He sort of moved awkward and hummed like he wasn't sure of the deal. I asked why he was doing that and he then said yes, it was true. I was so confused because it seemed like he didn't want to honor the promotion and was highly surprised I knew it was going on. This wasn't the only weird encounter we would have though. When placing my order I asked a couple of different questions because I wanted to make sure I had a clear understanding. I was curious about the chicken sliders and remembered from a previous event I attended at the Bethesda location, that they were dry and had pork on them. So I quickly told him no I did not want the chicken and we talked about other options. I placed my order for the crispy parmesan polenta fries and The Bone which was a huge beef rib served with chimichurri. It reminded me of how marrow is served so I thought I could also take advantage of that as well. When my first dish was brought out to me, I was highly surprised to see it was the chicken sliders and quickly told them I did not order this. I looked for my server and confusingly asked him if he remembered I informed him I did not want it because it was dry the last time I had it and that I had chose the polenta fries and The Bone instead. He said oh okay and stated it would be out shortly. The Bone came out maybe five or so minutes later but still no fries. I then asked him about the fries and he said they would be out shortly. It made me wonder if he had forgotten to put the fry order in because I felt like they should have been out first. The slices alongside The Bone were very dry so I opted to cut the remaining attached meat from the bone. I was glad that I did because it was still juicy and dipped that into the chimichurri. The next time I ordered this and I know there will be a next time, I will ask for the meet not to be sliced away from the bone. I feel like this meat didn't actually come from the rib but maybe from a different cut. I do appreciate Fogo for giving you more meat with the bone if my assumptions are correct. My Caipirinhas were delightful. I went with the original quickly followed by the passion fruit. I wanted to order another but the bar had closed before I realized it. I was dissapointed I wasn't offered another drink before it did close but that gave me a chance to chat with one of the bartenders behind the bar. I asked her about my encounter with my server and she quickly understood and stated he was a little off. It confirmed my assumption so I pretty much let go our whole encounter and had wished I had just placed my order with her and was in communication with her my entire visit instead. When I go back to this location, I will make sure I look for her only lol I had a very quick visit but enough for me to understand I will be back to this location. Parking is a little bit challenging although there is a garage you can park in and walk around the outside to get to Fogo or cut through the restaurant next to it which is Cheesecake Factory and then exit out and walk down. read more

Wish I had read the reviews before bringing my mom here for an early Mother's Day dinner. We had never been to this location before and it wasn't nearly as good as other locations we have visited. The service was extremely lackluster, our drinks came halfway through eating, no straws even though everyone else's drinks were served with straws, we only were brought 1/4 sides, and had to beg someone to bring our check at the end of the meal. We also were consistently brought the very last piece of meat as the servers would go to the table on either side of us before ever getting to us? When we finally asked why we weren't brought the sides, they brought us the "plantains" which were not plantains at all. They were just mushy bananas. The waiter even admitted to us that they are just caramelized bananas, which is not at all the same as plantains. The sides of rice, beans, and corn chowder at the market table were lukewarm and clumpy, didn't seem fresh at all. Would definitely either visit other locations over this one and try out one of the other restaurants in Towson that treat patrons equally and serve quality food. read more

We dined here with Family Members. It was all of ours first time visiting this location. It's on the outside of the Mall, in the same location that used to be PF Chings Asian Restaurant. It was a little smaller than other locations I've been too. We dined with a party of seven. We did not have a wait because we had reservations. It was chilly inside and we noticed they had several space Heaters throughout the Restaurant. We were disappointed in the Buffet because it was smaller than the other locations we've been to and we had to ask for them to bring the Meats around, they weren't attentive in that area. They seem to have downsized on the complimentary Mash Potatoes and fried Bananas, they didn't fill up the dish they served them in, they had them on the same plate. Other than that the food was still tasty and the Staff was polite. I don't know if I'll be returning to this location any time soon. read more

SKIP THIS LOCATION!!! I hate leaving bad reviews but sometimes people need to know. The service here was unacceptable. My mom and I ordered fish while everyone else got the churrasco experience. Everything took forever, even the meats that go around. My husband wanted the ribeye which only came once. He kept waiting for it and in the end, tried asking one of the servers. They came back 3X saying it was still being cooked! Nevermind the fish we ordered which was 30 minutes before it came. I joked at first saying they were still catching it but after the repeated neglect, it stopped being funny. Waters were left unfilled for almost an hour. Meats were grossly differing temperatures that in certain cuts, you get well done rubber and bloody blue in one piece. The sides for the fish we ordered did not come (they said it came with fried bananas and mashed potato). For the price, this was not nearly worth it. We were also seated by the window where it was pretty cold. By the end of it, we were in the cold, waiting for our server to come back. Sadly, we were also celebrating a birthday and even the cake took at least 20 minutes between finishing our dish before it came out. I spoke to the front desk finally in the end and they called the manager but the manager only offered to move us, not really help serve. We were waiting for our checks and that also took forever that we had to get up again and find someone to give our payment to... every other location I've been to has been miles better than this one and based on the other reviews, this seems to be a pattern for this location. We made reservations at Fogo de Chão for Valentine's Day, and while I understand it's one of their busiest holidays, the service was extremely disappointing. We were seated, given menus, and brought water by our waitress, who explained that they work in a "team format." Unfortunately, that team was nowhere to be found. I had to repeatedly raise my hand just to get anyone's attention, and when staff did come over, they never seemed happy or willing to help. The food itself was just okay. You could clearly tell when the meat was fresh versus reheated. They offered us the Parmesan-crusted pork at least six times (we counted), while barely bringing around other cuts. I had to specifically request ribeye. We only received bottom sirloin and top sirloin once each, while picanha came several times. The offerings were very inconsistent and unbalanced. We experienced similar issues at this same location back in April 2025, when the service was also poor--so much so that my mother left a handwritten note on the receipt. I love the rodízio concept and have had much better experiences at other Fogo locations, which makes this even more disappointing. To make matters worse, servers dropped plates multiple times during our visit. As we were leaving, one plate nearly hit my son when a server turned the corner around a pole. The dining room felt overcrowded, with tables packed too closely together and barely any room to move safely. Overall, this was not the quality of service or experience we expected, especially for a special occasion like Valentine's Day. Sorry but this would be my last time visiting this location. read more

Truly spectacular service. It feels like they have an army of finely trained wait staff who continually round and make sure you have everything you'd want and exactly to your liking. Salad bar is amazing and almost a misnomer bc they have a lot of charcuterie meats, cheeses, and fruit too. Most notable option here is the brown sugar and black pepper bacon 10/10. Now, let's talk about the parade of meats. My fave was surprisingly the Parmesan and garlic encrusted pork. But all the other beef cuts were delish too. Highly recommend grabbing some chimichurri and blue cheese from the salad bar to accompany them. Worth the money, highly recommend coming here. PS, almost forgot, dessert on point too! Came here with a group of 10 friends to celebrate one of them visiting from Germany. We went on a Wednesday at noon and had no problem getting a table. If you're unaware (like I was), they do Fogo de Lunch now during weekdays, which is the exact same as their signature infinite meat roulette dinner experience, just at lunchtime for $50 instead of $65. Their location makes that even nicer, as they're right on the corner of the Towson mall (where P.F. Chang's used to be, good riddance lmao) and it's very easy to find parking in the garage next door or to just walk in. I wish this had been here when I worked in the area. As for the food, it's what you'd expect from a Fogo: fantastic meat cuts, an extensive "salad" bar that has a lot more than salad, and fun little side bites to nom on in between meat servings like caramelized bananas and soft cheesy rolls. I tried two of their mocktails -- the pineapple mint lemonade and paradise spritz -- and both were quite refreshing. Do recommend. I don't have any critical remarks. I was there on May 14th for a graduation celebration. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. The entrée and rice were both cold when served, and the meat tasted very average -- honestly, like something I could make at home. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the cheese bread. We used the $63 menu option, and in my opinion, it was not worth the price. I also did not like the policy of only accepting one card payment for large groups. We were a party of 14, so one person had to collect payments from everyone through Apple Pay, Cash App, Venmo, cash, etc. Since everyone ordered differently and some people purchased drinks while others didn't, it became stressful and inconvenient trying to calculate each person's total. I had a really fun time here for my birthday on November 3! We each had different orders: I got the regular all you can eat and my dining companion ordered the salmon. Both came with the fresh bar which was great! Everything was clean and well stocked. I also ordered the gold rush as a 10$ cocktail which is quite reasonable. I like it because it contained banana liqueur. The meats were amazing but I didn't come super hungry so I only tried each. I did get a cut with the salt side and didn't like that because boy was it salty. For dessert I got a birthday choice from their dessert menu and chose papaya cream. It was fabulous and I was shocked that it came as a smoothie! We did have some challenges getting service when we needed it but I think it's because the restaurant was packed. Although the staff was friendly enough at the end of the day the service sucked. Everything I asked for was forgotten about, it took over half hour to get my drink, and over an hour to get my lobster appetizer. Which also btw was not worth the $20 upcharge. Had a great dinner with some friends yesterday and really enjoyed myself. Everyone was very friendly from the front door to the table. There were some mix up on one person's drinks and no clear ask about what we wanted, as we were there for the Best of Brazil special, luckily we hadn't been served any of those options that didn't come with that. Overall I feel like it the people came by more frequently in the pass with meat, and I feel like there were a lot more options (the special on excluded 4 items). But everything was good and we definitely were full when we left. The Parmesan pork was a little dry, but I didn't mind it. Will be back especially for the happy hour! Terrible! I recently brought my extended family here to celebrate the upcoming graduation of my youngest daughter and it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. We had a 7:15 reservation, as was recommended to us by previous reviews, yet we were sat nearly 20 minutes later! The service was relatively alright but it was apparent that our waitress was having to cover too many bases. Multiple of us chose to go to the feijoda bar, but were rather turned off by the items on display. If you're going to spend money on steak, I feel like it's a better option to go somewhere and get one really great steak for the same price, instead of like a bunch of mediocre bites. Meat service was also pretty slow, and there were times we were sitting there with nothing. My husband had wine and he, no joke, was asked 5 times by different people if he would like a refill. He said yes, and we let them know he was also already asked and was waiting. When someone finally came with the wine, they randomly had 2 glasses of it. It was pretty funny. Service was horrendous, thus the three stars... food was good when we came around...we had a business dinner with a party of 12 and two leaders didn't get their ticket for their food order and it was impossible to get someone to fill up our waters. Fogo de Chão - Brazilian Near Me - Towson, Maryland

Fogo de Chão is a good price for the amount of food, but I do find that the quality can be lacking. This was my first time at the Towson location after going to the harbor one multiple times growing up (it was one of my family's favorite "special occasion" spots). This one, while smaller, still looks great inside and is nicely laid out. We went for the lunch promotion and so it wasn't super busy, which meant a lot of people were very attentive to us... At first. For the first about 30/45 minutes, we had waiters coming about every 2 minutes to check on us and ask about drinks and whatnot. (I'm not talking about the food service, I'm talking about the waiters). We kind of found this to get annoying as it just seemed like their "working in tandem" system wasn't working that well. I got a cocktail, and it was way too expensive for what it was. It was too sweet and I found to be poorly done. Also, the waiter was really pushy on getting us bottled spring water. For example, she asked me if we wanted another bottle, and I clearly said no, and she turned to my partner and asked if he wanted more water. He wasn't paying too much attention because he was eating, she didn't specify spring, so he just said sure. Then she quickly walked away and brought us another bottle of spring. I just found this to be a little sneaky and annoying. Some of the meat came out a little tough/overcooked in my opinion. For the lunch price, it's not a bad deal. I would say if you plan on coming here, go for lunch & skip the alcohol. read more

I went to Fogo de Chão on October 31 With a friend, we ordered crabcakes and lobster along with the experience as my friend was eating his food, a long blonde hair was in his food. I brought it to the attention of the waiter. The manager came over and brought him a new plate and new silverware. At the end of the night when the check came, I asked, would we be compensated for having Hair and our food? The manager came over and said that he would take it into consideration and give us a discount brought the check back and took $14 off of a $210 check. So if you want to have steak and hair by all means, go there. me and my friend both have black hair. read more
