I researched to the nth degree for years before custom building our new home. Decided on Wolf for our double griddle cooktop, Vent-a-Hood, Sub Zero, and mostly Miele appliances due to the fact that Miele lets you plumb your combination steam oven (my favorite appliance by far), 30" wall oven, and then their superb coffee maker, while Wolf does not. Our 2 Miele dishwashers are the best in the industry. Steve is the perfect appliance design pro, methodically working with our custom cabinet maker to ensure rough installation was a snap with super smart pro installer Victor and crew, and it was. Our first trip there was good and we got good service. After that, not so much. When they came to install our appliances, the dishwasher, dryer and fridge were all broken. Second dryer had a dent. They kept telling us the fridge not working was probably user error. When we convinced them it wasn't working, they at first wanted us to wait until they got someone out there to look at it which would be a week or so. We told them we could not be in a new house without a working fridge so they did bring out one for us to use. When the repair man came out to look at it, they ended up scraping it because they couldn't fix it. Finally got a working fridge later. We felt like we were at a scratch and dent store and not a high quality one.

My parents were visiting…read moreand wanted to give us a housewarming gift in the form of a new dishwasher and microwave. After some online research, Appliance Factory looked really promising. We were greeted at the door by a salesperson named Cory, who walked us through the store and gave us the highlights of each dishwasher based on our needs. Unfortunately, the brand of dishwasher we wanted was significantly back-ordered due to nationwide supply chain issues (not Appliance Factory's fault); however, Cory helped us find the next best thing and the decision was super easy. We're really satisfied with our fancy new dishwasher and our dishes are so clean! My only complaint is the communication. The microwave we ordered was on backorder, and I was told it would be about two weeks before it came in. I called recently and was told it wouldn't be in until end of December. The supply chain is out of their control, but I would appreciate updates when my order gets pushed back. Additionally, I was given a delivery date for our dishwasher and was told I would get a call from the delivery person to set up a specific time. No call came, so I stayed home waiting for him to show up whenever (Disclaimer: the delivery service is contracted out and they are not Appliance Factory employees). He did show up on the right day and did a great job installing.

But when you buy a brand new washer and dryer and one will not start immediately upon delivery, that's problematic. This mother wanted for her child to have a perfect washer and dryer. Otherwise I could have saved a fortune by going on FB marketplace. But instead I purchased "brand new" at Appliance Factory and got something that did not work AT ALL. Ya, somebody came to fix it the next week but that's not what I had in mind. How long before it breaks again, or the brand-new dryer goes? So they did throw in a warranty, which at least if we have junky appliances that will come in handy. Also a small amount was returned to us but for Heavens sake, what I wanted was appliances in perfect, brand-new condition. I do appreciate that AF did something but it took ALOT to get these concessions mentioned above. They promised the refund and the warranty and I can't tell you how many times we had to call and continue to beg for it. Bottom line- a person buys brand new for a reason. It did not come to fruition in this scenario and I would never advise shopping here unless you have an aggravation meter that goes for a long way.

That evening the technician (Miguel) showed up and diagnosed the problem, said he would order the part and they would call me back once they received the part. I really appreciated he fit me in at the end of his day. Once they had the part, I was called, given a 4 hour window for the next afternoon and Miguel repaired my dryer. I am grateful they fit me in so quickly and accomplished the repair job as soon as they had the part. Thanks Bob's Appliance Service and Miguel!

    Do yourself a favor and avoid Bob's Appliance Service in Fort Collins, CO. Their customer service…read moreis terrible, and what should have been a simple dryer repair turned into three days of wasted time, long waits, and still no working appliance. They give you a massive five-hour appointment window (12-5pm). On day one, the technician arrived around 4:30pm. On day two, he didn't show up until after 6pm. On day three, he told us he would be our first stop with the part, but instead showed up around 6:30pm--after we had already left for dinner--because the office schedulers changed his route. To make matters worse, every time I called the office for help, the schedulers were rude, dismissive, and made no effort to provide even basic customer service. This company wasted our time, left our dryer unrepaired, and treated us with complete disregard. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for appliance service. I would have given Bob's ZERO stars but that was not an option! I then called Mr. Appliance and they came next day, with a 2-hr appointment window, and had my dryer working again in very little time! Kudos to Mr. Appliance

    We purchased a washer/dryer set from this store. They dropped it off the day of closing on our new…read morehome. We paid for them to install everything including hoses and dryer duct, however they failed to do so. They to this day haven't refunded us for that. We left on vacation the next day and when we came back and started up the dryer for its first use it screeched worse than nails on a chalkboard! They returned to our home to service the dryer a week after contact, suspiciously with the exact parts needed to fix it without ever having seen it to troubleshoot... The dryer received new rollers. They were also asked to change out the dial as it was nearly seized and took brute force to move it for selections. It worked fine for a few weeks then.... it didn't..it completely stopped working. They now show up to our home mind you for the third time in less than 2 months of ownership of these gently used, refurbished like "new", only cosmetic! appliances. Great Salesman they are but follow through is lackluster and like a bad night alone on NYE leaves you wanting.. Anyways they sent out the serviceman again with a new motherboard to get the dryer back up and running. Well all was fine as you may be guessing for a few more weeks, but here we are again and ALAS! more issues. Save your sanity as their customer service is horrid. I asked Samantha, an inept employee with the personality of a potato, if it was common for their "refurbished" appliances to be such lemons. She said, "No, not usually". But the other 1 star reviews big to differ. No refund honored, they wont even send someone out to pick up their useless appliances to help a customer make way for BETTER. Samantha's retort is they wouldn't feel comfortable taking appliances without giving over money. But isn't that their business model now?! Get junky appliances spruce them up to work for a day then bail? Reminds me of the scene where Harry Wormwood(The Appliance Store), the sleazy car salesman, from the screenplay Matilda sells Mrs. Trunchbull a POS car(Washer/Dryer). "Wormwood! Sell me a lemon? You're heading for the chokey, young lady!" Do yourself a favor, you read this far, just don't...go buy somewhere else and save yourself the headache, like the one you got reading this long a$% review..
