Just had August over for one visit so far, but working on more jobs with him coming up. He was so friendly, professional, helpful, and fair! He gave me extra tips (always appreciated) and suggestions for a dryer and a washer and a mini fridge. He in no way gave any lady downtalking vibes. I felt like I could trust him and will be calling him again. read more

JR Fixed my Samsung dryer, Fantastic service. Friendly, efficient, reasonable price. Reached out to me quickly after I left him a message. I wasn't home when he came. Came out sooner than he had originally stated. Replaced a sensor in an hour. Called me later that evening and explained everything. We settled up by Venmo. Easy quick no hassle dryer works great! Thanks JR. read more

We 100% would recommend August Ltd. We had an issue with our refrigerator (the freezer section) and called August. They called us back the very next day (and that was a Saturday) and came out on Monday. They diagnosed the problem and , despite difficulties getting the parts, resolved the issue. And the cost was more than reasonable. Great service at a great price cannot be beat! read more

Courteous, friendly, efficient, helpful, and explains the issues in an understandable way!

Answered my call, came same day and fixed my oven. Just wish I had called him a week earlier. Very pleasant efficient.

I think that August now has me as a customer for life. Today I called JR (he answered in 1 ring!) with my GE dryer center knob not working. It controls timed dry & 3 other choices. He & I fixed the concern over the phone in 6 short minutes and then I wrote down a few tips that he offered. Excellent attitude while being kind and very helpful. I have been in sales for 30 yrs. & have been totally impressed- 10 Stars!***********'Why call the rest, he is the best' read more

I had a great experience with JR at August Appliance Repair! First of all, JR returned my phone call in 5 minutes! Instead of a washing-machine service call, he took the time to walk me through to a solution over the phone . He said he hates to charge service calls if there is no need. He also added some helpful tips for care of my washing-machine. Recently, when my freezer quit, he called back after two days. He sounded so sick, he didn't realize that he had Covid. Even so, he gave some help regarding my freezer. It's rare to find someone so kind and helpful! read more

JR was so helpful over the phone that he coached me through fixing my own problem. I'm pretty handy but his help made the difference. I didn't have a failed appliance, I had a failed breaker in the AC breaker box. His advice pointed me to try he problem and I replaced the breaker, making a service call unnecessary. Super nice on his part! read more

Customer service sucks bad!! On phone for hours waiting for service still nothing. They don't care about customers at all!!!

The owner did a great job, not only getting back to me properly, but showing up and fixing my problem! He saved us from having to replace our freezer in the garage! I definitely would use him again in the future! read more

August Ltd is a trustworthy appliance repair service that I would highly recommend. They have won by business for all my future appliance repair needs through being honest and transparent in their work with me. 5 star company! read more

I'd give JR more stars if I could, but I'm limited to five. Good response time, excellent service, darn nice guy. The repair price wasn't cheap, but it was reasonable and I believe good value for the money. Will definitely call again if anything goes wrong with an appliance. read more

Our 3 year old high-end LG dryer refused to work, with a light on the display that read "Clean Filter" even though the filter was totally free of lint. I believed the issue was a buildup of lint within the filter housing and duct at the bottom of the unit. The owner's manual provided no instructions for how to access that area, so I contacted LG support through both the website and Twitter. They were totally useless. After an hour of fiddling myself to no avail, I called J.R. at August Ltd. on a Saturday afternoon. He picked up on the first call and troubleshot the issue over the phone. "Do you use dryer sheets?" (Yes.) "Take the filter to a faucet and run water through it. Does the water pass freely, or does it build up a bit?" (Builds up some, I guess.) "Dryer sheets can leave a film behind on the filter such that the filter appears clean but the airflow is still restricted. Clean it with some dish soap and lightly scrub, pat dry, pop it back in and try the dyer again. If that doesn't work, call me back." That fixed it. Why LG support couldn't tell me that, I don't know. What I do know is that J.R. took the time to help diagnose the issue to determine if a repair was even needed in the first place. This saved me the cost of a trip charge and got my dryer up and running immediately instead of waiting for someone to arrive. Most other vendors wouldn't have troubleshot on the phone, and some of them may have even replaced a part simply to generate revenue (much like a car dealership). Five stars! J.R. is my appliance repair guy from here on out. read more

Called August because of the great reviews and was not disappointed. Solved the problem with my gas range and was quick to respond when I followed up with questions. Highly recommend! read more

We had a problem with our oven. JR responded very quickly, figured the problem and had it taken care of as soon as the part was in. Service was amazing and such a nice, knowledgeable guy. Not only did he fix our problem right away, he was able to give us advice so it does not happen again. August LTD is a "more than 5-stars" company! read more

Our 27 year old refrigerator stopped working recently, and since it was a built in with custom wood panel doors, we wanted to fix it rather than consider a new one (which would have cost over $12,000). JR did some extensive testing, and replaced a few parts that were out of spec, but after a few months it stopped cooling again. This time he dug deeper into the unit, removing panels to get access to hidden parts. He found a very slow refrigerant leak caused by two tubes that had rubbed together over the years, and replaced that part. Now our refrigerator should be good for another 27 years ;-) JR is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. We highly recommend him for appliance repair, and will use him if/when anything else stops working at our house !!!!!! read more

Excellent service and help by JR. He spent quite some time professionally discussing by phone the pros and cons of fixing or replacing a combo microwave/oven unit. Ultimately I decided to replace the unit given his honest opinion and I had JR install the new one. On time, prompt courteous communication and the installation was perfect along with very reasonably priced. Highly recommended read more

The compressor went out on our 4 year old LG - it was out of warranty. We priced a new, similar model - it was $4800!!! I saw the Yelp review on August services, so I called. He responded very quickly and made an appointment for Monday (this was on Saturday). He looked it over, confirmed it was the compressor. He ordered the part and it was installed on Thursday! Saved me $4000! He was amazing and fast! Great service and I highly recommend August Services read more

My 7 year old clothes dryer stopped heating, for the second time in 2 years. Decided to call a different company than the previous one. JR came out the same day WITH the part! No waiting for the part like the previous company. He was prompt with communication, efficient, and polite. Highly recommend! read more

I called August on Sunday answered, said he could be at my house Monday. He showed up, diagnosed the problem and said he would order the pump for the dishwasher. He came Friday, on time, intalled it, did some there tweeks to correct the prior install of the dishwasher. His price was more than reasonable, $232. HIghly recommend him. read more

He listened to the dryer problem over the phone, got my description of the symptoms. I sent him a picture of the model number. He showed up a few days later with the parts, and went to work. About an hour later he was done, after double checking some things. He really knows what he's doing read more

JR was very responsive and helpful in resolving the problem with my dishwasher. Excellent service!

J.R. and his company August LTD are the best. He is a certified LG repair person, and helped me diagnose over the phone what was wrong based on the information I gave him and his past insights. And his diagnosis turned out to be exactly what he described as likely. Very professional and analytical. Very confirmational as well. Excellent follow up. Our refrigerator is now running in tip top shape. Others tried to diagnose and couldn't. JR is very customer oriented. Great to find someone like him, and he even came all the way out to Boulder on short notice. Bravo JR! read more

I called for a refrigerator repair on Monday June 7 and set up for an appointment for Wednesday June 9 at 9:00 am . Waited all day ! NO CALL NO SHOW ! I CAN NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

We've used JR to fix two different issues in our fridge and he's been great both times. The first was a minor issue that turned out to be the water valve but the second involved the whole fridge not working. JR took our call, rearranged his schedule because there was perishable food involved, got to our place in a couple of hours, and determined the fix was to replace a fuse on the control board. He's very helpful, knows what he's doing, and treats his customers fairly. I won't hesitate to call him for any appliance need in the future. read more

JR was great. Fixed my dryer in like 20 min and was super helpful in showing me how to do it myself next time. He also took a peek at my heater and is doing some research to see if he can help me out there too. I was hesitant because of the lack of reviews on here but he is new to Yelp. read more
