    Yummy Menu!
    Tobi R.

F n B! I started off with the kiss of death drink n I was hooked! Followed up by a summer hummer, landing strip and the porn star drink made me feel like it should! Sexy ambiance! While enjoying these delicious creatively named drinks, I ordered off the happy hour menu! White miso roasted salmon, honey glazed shrimp and teriyaki grilled chicken... I devoured the chicken to fast to even morf up the patience to take a photo!!! Ooopsie! Seriously! This is the yummiest place to eat in Roseburg as well as The Famous Parrot House, which is STILL OPEN!!! When you have had the best, why try the rest!!! Your taste buds will thank you! Bao Bun fried Pork Belly Tacos
    Greg G.

Bao Bun Fried Pork Belly Tacos. Enough said. These things are righteous. The soft pillowy bao buns are so unique and wonderful. The fried pork belly and crispy outside and soft and melty inside, glazed with aight, sweetness. The fresh mango salsa and sauce and microgreen top off these masterpieces! We get them often and always. They are a joy to devour!

So precious! Small plates happy hour menu!

I had a client dinner tonight and was honestly a tad intimidated by the menu when I looked online.. I am so glad we went! We ended up purchasing one of each of their happy hour plates, it was a great way to "sample" their dinner menu, and have a nice family style dinner.. when I say everything was perfect, I mean EVERYTHING... the food, the environment, the service, the chef, even the water! This will definitely be in my rotation from now on.. clients & friends alike, this is a new favorite!

    Pork ribs

Food and ambiance were great as was service. They were out of pork belly bites so they subbed pork ribs which I don't think is a normal menu item but should be, it was delicious. Korean BBQ platter was equally great, as was desert. No complaints about food. It is a shareplate family style concept, we got a salad to share, and 2 larger plates and it was plenty to eat. Only thing lowering it to a 4 instead of 5 was the drinks, which were just meh for both of us, but that could have been down to the choices (rose from abacela and a new old fashioned which was too sweet for my husband). We will definitely be back. It is nice to have a place besides out typical (True Kitchen) for a nicer date night.

I have not been to this establishment, but friends tell me how slow and inattentive they are. I am probably not ever going here.

Draper is an excellent brewery in my mind. The beers are experimental and creative with their beers making some pretty unusual beers that taste great! We have had three of their beers so far on two separate occasions and both times the beers were very impressive and enjoyable! One of the beers we had was the Thumb Ring. A Wild Ale that was excellent. It was aged on peaches, blackberries and coconut. Flavors featured with this beer are tartness, peachy, cherry and a hint of purposeful mustiness. Wit Bat was another beer we had. Also a Wild Ale this beer was wonderful also! Flavors to find with this Ale are tartness and jam like. The jam like qualities come from the marionberries and the Coriander brings it an extra depth. A very effervescent and elegant Ale. The third beer we had was the Earl of Tenmile. This was a Sour Ale with flavors of tart, sour, some sweetness and a clean finish. It is a blend of two and four year spontaneously fermented Ales. Such great beers and ales Draper has to offer and I would love to continue to explore with more of their beverage options which I hope would be in the near future.

It is a Victorian Mansion. (With several ghosts) set on a hill. The food was delicious, the ambiance was delightful, and service was attentive but not "in your face". The whole evening was special.

It has been a year since I've been to the Parrot House and wanting to try their reinstated buffet…read more I like a buffet where you can try different foods. I really wanted to like this place because it's the one fairly fancy place in town...but, it was a disappointing experience. We got to the restaurant for our 10am reservation but the door didn't open until exactly 10. People huddled under the porch because it was raining fairly hard. We were shown inside, then back outside to another room to our table. We ordered and they said the buffet was in the tent-outside. So, coat & rain hood back on to go to the buffet. Unfortunately, the buffet wasn't ready so we went back to our seats. The buffet wasn't ready for around 20 minutes-because some of the kitchen crew called in sick so they were operating with less help. The remaining crew was working hard to get it set up. So they were doing a good job-they just needed more help. The buffet had: Eggs, Potatoes, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, Jalapeño Cheddar Bagels, Smoked Salmon, Salad, Dressing, Potato Dill Soup, an Omelet bar and Prime Rib. Unfortunately, most of the food we got wasn't warm. I think the top of the chafing dishes were able to cool off, even though, the bottom was hot. Didn't know that until going back in. Thats a dangerous situation where bacteria can grow. The bread was excellent. It was a chewy Italian bread. The butter balls were firm so hard to spread. There were bagels and smoked salmon but it would have been nice to have something other than just jalapeño cheddar bagels for the smoked salmon. Maybe, get something more neutral in flavor that more people would eat. I think I have fairly normal tastes and love biscuits & gravy but the biscuits and gravy had an odd flavor to me. I wasn't a fan but that may be a preference. The prime rib was ok but not terribly tasty. The Potato dill soup was just ok, too. The omelet bar probably was the safe choice since you pick your ingredients but I make those often at home so I wanted to try other things. I think they are trying to be fancy instead of just making good food that everybody would like. Service was good. We did have to wait for coffee but overall they were nice and did a good job letting people know when the buffet was ready. Overall: Ambiance is 5/5; Service 4/5, Food-the temperature, late food and having to walk in the rain to the tent and back with a plate of food while getting rained on drops the overall score to 3/5. Opening that heavy door with a plate of food is a problem, too. Maybe have the tent right outside the entrance to the main dining room so your customers and their full plates don't have to be out in the rain. There has to be a better way.

They've done a great job of turning it into a bar/restaurant. I'm sorry I didn't get my server's name, because she was very friendly and helpful. I decided to start with the Cajun tots. I asked how spicy they were, and she said that they could go mild with the Cajun spice. It also came with a peppercorn ranch. I also ordered the Aztec salad. Romaine, corn & black bean salsa, avocado, tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, onion, chipotle dressing (I asked them to leave off the jalapeño...). She asked me if I wanted to add chicken, and I said yes. I added grilled chicken The food comes, the salad is very decent sized, and the order of tater tots was massive. The salad was a bit on the spicy side. That's on me, because I didn't read the menu very well, and I didn't realize that it had the chipotle dressing. My lips were definitely tingling a little bit. It was toward the high end of what I like for spice, but it was still very good. The chicken was tender and flavorful, with just a tiny bit of a char on it. It definitely added to the flavor. The tots were excellent. I'm glad I had her go light on the Cajun spice, cause even with light spice, again it was a bit spicy. Within what I like for spicy, but I definitely noticed it. The ranch helped calm the spice a bit I had enough tots left over to bring back to my room for breakfast. Prices are a little bit on the high end, but for what I got, quantity and quality, reasonable. Plus, the advantage that Oregon does not have sales tax. They also offer a military/veterans discount. I would stop here again the next time I'm passing through. Thank you!
