Terrible experience. Came to find uniforms for my kids. The kid in the front had no idea what I was asking which was if there were uniform shirts and pants without embroidery. He said he wasn't sure and that he would need to ask someone. He never asked and checked in two other families after me. Finally after about 15 mins another girl asked if we had been helped and I told her that I didn't think the kid had ever gone to ask the question. She just ignored me and proceeded to ask the other family if they were checked in. It's like no one there cared. It wasn't even that busy to begin with. What a shame. read more

The atmosphere is nice in here, I wish that the curtains for the fitting rooms were doors because the curtains were very hard to shut and I'm sure a few people saw my daughter changing. The staff was nice, just not efficient. It took me about fifteen to thirty minutes to get my daughter to try on everything. I ended up being in the store for two hours. First they had to write down everything we got and the quantity, secondly they had to see if everything was in stock, then they had to tell me what to buy here and online, after that we had to wait to be able to actually purchase our items. Overall the atmosphere and staff are nice, they just need to work on efficiency and making the process take a little less time because I thought this was going to be a quick shopping experience. read more

Well it is certainly a sad state of affairs when a teenage girl can't go in to a store to be sized for a school uniform without being shamed and embarrassed for her athletic body type. While being sized, my 5''3" 140 lb daughter who is an avid weightlifter and gym "rat", was told by a female employee in her 50-60's "helping her" that finding a size for her would be "difficult since she was WELL-ROUNDED." This was stated in front of not only her friends who were with her, but many other shoppers-leaving my daughter mortified. What a shame that this female employee feels so badly about herself and her own body image, that in order to feel better about herself , she has to put down my daughter. If you like being treated badly while spending money-this certainly is the place to be!! read more

Visited today to select uniforms for my oldest child. It was hoppin' in there!! Lots of kids and lots of parents getting their gear for the new school year. Emma took my list, took a good look at my son, and got us absolutely everything in just the right sizes!! I was never left to "fend for myself," but I was taken care of for the entire visit. In such a bustling evironment, the customer service was really impressive. When Emma didn't have the answers, they got help immediately from a manager. We got every single item we came for, and we were in and out in record time. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure we had the correct items and sizes. By my guesstimate, our order was triple checked before we even left the shop! Friendly staff managing an intensely busy season...I was so impressed by all the good cheer from a team that is going non-stop during the busy back-to-school season. Would give zero stars if possible. This store is absolutely horrendous with orders. We placed an order for two shirts in early June. Somehow we only received one shirt in August because they claimed they were shipped out to some address they had despite us choosing to pick up in store. The one shirt we did receive ended up not being the correct size so we returned it and waited for a replacement. It is now September we have still only received one shirt in almost three months and the store aggressively insists that we are not owed anything and that we have already received both shirts since august. Customer service is awful, the employees are terrible and are unwilling to help you at all. Please avoid this particular store or try to order online if possible. read more

This store is absolutely horrible. We went to buy uniforms and they were very rude. The clothes that were recommended did not fit either of my children. We went in to find a HOMELESS man browsing the isles. My daughter came out of the changing room to let the staff know the size was wrong, and they GROWLED at her. I ended up buying two shirts, a pair of shorts, and a pair of pants for my son. One week into the school year they had faded and ripped. Poor, poor quality uniforms. Colors are not all the same shade . The colors fade drastically fast. When my son's school is at mass and all standing together you can tell the diffrent shades of green. Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered uniform tops for my daughter in August and I still haven't received them. I've called customer service and the store multiple times and they tell me my order will be shipping in the next few days and it never does. I also sent an email but got no reply. The last time I called the store (2 weeks ago) a man answered the phone, and he was extremely rude. He sounded irritated that I was asking about my order, that I paid for! I understand delays but this is ridiculous. What's most frustrating is that no one seems to know what's going on with my order and they don't seem to care. Not to mention this is my daughter's first year wearing uniforms, so she has nothing! I've had to spend money here at this place and on plain tops until I can get the ones I've ordered. read more

This is our first year needing school uniforms and there process has been so pleasant so far at Flynn O'Haras. I've gone to the store twice, first to try on sizes with my 5 year old and again a few weeks later to pick up an extra gym uniform. I wish there was a word that I could describe the customer service and the vibe in there! Extremely disorganized for such a prestigious name! Ladies were helping people gather their children's uniforms while I was attended by a young man who left me in the middle of assisting me to help someone else. I felt very rushed while others were being helped from the beginning of their shopping until the end. I was quite confused from beginning to end. I had never been here before and surely not a good impression. The white button downs had pinholes in them, which is a risk buying them because they will fray at some point and all of that money down the drain. Please order shirts that do not have visible pin holes in them. Owners may not know about this. Also ladies do not know the register system very well! Have them 1/2 cash 1/2 credit card and they were both flustered because they did not know how to work the machine. Please the ladies properly. Thank you! read more

Let's face it school uniform shopping is NO fun; and I have been doing this task with multiple uniform stores for over 15 years. I have been to this Flynn O'Hara store three times in the past. This morning I bought my two children in and I received EXCELLENT service from Kaitlyn. She was able to entirely outfit my two children in under 40 minutes; which included time to put on the school logos. She was pleasant and patient throughout the whole process. There were three other staff members on site. I watched two other families come in and be helped right away as they entered. I was impressed by the amount of staff for the store at 10:30 a.m. on a Thursday. Today was one of my best uniform purchasing experiences. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star today was because of the $5 S&H charge for an out-of-stock polo I needed. The uniform prices are already pretty steep (over $560 to outfit my two kids), so I think the S&H charge should not be so high. We used to have to drive to Cary, so I also appreciate the store being located on Glenwood; much closer to home. read more
