Nice people and convenient locations. They usually have what I'm looking for at a decent price.read more

I would give zero stars if it would allow me. I purchased a 4' x 8' x 6' tall pet kennel made and…read moreadvertised for dogs from this location. It is constructed of 12 welded wire panels that have to be bolted together. It comes with a gray premade tarp that fits the 4 x 8' footprint of the kennel. The primary purpose was to keep a 55 lbs. dog in it. It lasted less than 48 hours. A medium size dog was able to chew through the welded wiring. After further inspection the welds on this cage are lacking. I have stored the same dog in multiple wire cages and kennels over the years and have never had this issue. I would not recommend this product to anybody. I would not recommend anybody doing business with this store. It took several days to finally get somebody to answer me on the phone as to what they would do to help me with my situation. By the time I was able to get an answer I have missplace the receipt. Without a receipt they're not even willing to take it in for exchange. I asked them to at least look for my credit card number I used. They claimed they did not have a way to search for purchase since I used a credit card. So I'm suck with a worthless pen. I'm disgusted with the lack of resolve and the lack of willingness to rectify the situation. They're not even willing to entertain anything. Thanks for taking my 300.00 bucks Orscheln's! Bad management and customer service. Buyer beware

Our local store is very nice and accommodating, never a problem. Where they get 2 stars is their…read morefinance company. My wife has purchased many things from Tractor Supply, this time instead of putting the purchase on one of our cards she financed in through their "pay no interest same as cash for 365 days" deal, for a utility trailer. Religiously she broke the payments up into monthly amounts, and paid each month on time as needed. On the final month of the payment for the trailer, she sent in the full amount to cover balance due for Trailer. Unfortunately, over that year she also purchased a chicken house on same program, and was making payments on it. Tractor Supply's finance company instead of applying the final amount due for the trailer on the trailer bill, split the payment and put some on the chicken house (which will not be due for another 6 months), and then 2 days later, sent her a bill for the interest all the way back to inception for the trailer (at some 21% or other usury like number). Folks, that isn't country. Not neighborly. Not very nice even for city folk. Tractor supply has curled up with some slickers, out to screw over country people. No manager would listen, no adjuster would adjust, just pay the amount or we will come after your family. My credit score is 813, because I keep my word. Tractor Supply's financing people... do not keep their word and threaten your piece of mind and credit score. Tractor supply management... fix it, or you will pay the price of people like us shopping someplace else where they keep their word and hold their vendors (in this case the financing company is Tractor Supplys Vendor) to their good word. We are no longer customers, but buyer beware, TSC has some snake oil salesmen in their business.

We were excited to see them opening up, but are considerably less excited now. I have resumed…read moreshopping at the Mule Barn as their prices are often better, but more importantly, they stand behind what they sell you. Last spring, we bought our chicks at TSC they sold us rooster chicks instead of hens. We paid them for our supplies, feed et al. And we have no laying hens. And that's just tough, as there was no refund, or even an apology. Around the same time I bought 10 raspberry plants from there. I planted them promptly, watered and babied them; they were never grew a lick and were obviously dead when they went into the ground. I was told no refund because they don't guarantee their plants. Hmmm. Yesterday I stopped to price their 'Dogloo' style dog houses. I looked at them outside, went in to find out prices, and was asked if I wanted small, medium or large. I said large. Medium was around $85 and large was $110. I brought my Dad back today to get a doghouse. It was $145 at the register. Well THAT one was EXTRA large you see! A size that didn't exist yesterday cost Dad $35 more today. If an employee actually had walked outside and seen the one I was looking at, the mistake would've been caught. If you do go, you will notice the extremely handy parking; nobody else seems to be shopping there either.
