It went from 11.99 to 17.99 a bag of 40lbs of dog food. Today apparently there Air conditioner isn't working so it was so hot and unbearable inside this store. Yes, it's a hardware store, so if you need some nuts and bolts and whatnot, they have that. But they ALSO have a really cool candy store AND a really neat Harry Potter area, AND a Wild West area, and a really great selection of cute gifts etc. We left with zero hardware, but several Christmas gifts, a big box of Red Hots and some delicious peanut brittle. Their 'excuse' started with: "We don't have a public bathroom" I pressed that I was about to have an accident and needed a restroom, and that I was a paying customer, not 'the public'. Their response? "Our bathrooms are not ADA compliant". As IF I needed ADA compliance, I certainly was not in a wheelchair or other needs for access. In fact, I was looking right at their bathroom as this conversation transpired. If you aren't going to allow bathroom use to your customer, I won't spend my money there. It's just this thing called customer service Went thru this in Tucson, with all the drug addicts and homeless. Tucson started securing bathrooms. Kind of ridiculous here if you ask me. I called and they had the used part in stock for a very fair price and the labor cost less than the dog treats I picked up during the short wait in their store. I've never had a shop put on a tire in less time and the building is clean and comfortable; the lady working the counter and the mechanic seemed like kind, genuine people. I will always call them first after today, and would suggest that anyone in the area in need of tires do the same.
