I visited the store to exchange a defective riding lawnmower battery that was not holding a charge. Despite my previous experiences where store associates successfully located my account using my driver's license and Social Security number, I was informed that the exchange could not be processed without my physical Home Depot card or the original receipt. Furthermore, the associate at the counter was unprofessional and unhelpful. The situation escalated to involve two supervisors, yet the issue remained unresolved.
