This is my favorite coffee shop in Oklahoma. I love non franchised businesses. Every drink and baked good I've tried has been amazing. The iced lavender latte, iced chai tea latte, mocha chip freeze, etc. You could blindly pick something here and it would be good. Their cinnamon rolls are doughy; far better than Cinnabon. I recommend this place because it is not only convenient but I've never been disappointed by the coffee. I usually have a wonderful Americano with cream and two shots of toffee nut. I just relocated to the area and was looking for a new coffee shop. I stopped by this location. The ladies were nice, kid was friendly, but if this is the standard by which Newcastle residents measure coffee, this place is in trouble if a national name brand opens in town. I picked up a mocha. The power mix was hardly mixed up and so rich you could not taste the coffee. Drinking it was terrible. The chunks of unmixed cocoa power were everywhere from sitting in the bottom to sitting on top of the ice and up through the straw. On the third drink, I dumped it at the intersection. read more

This darling drive thru is amazing!! We've been there twice now. Both times, I've gotten a cookie and they've been delicious!! They have precious details on their cups, giving you a sticker cover and a chocolate-covered espresso bean. Sooo yummy! The ladies who run it are so kind and helpful when you order. I came from OKC to celebrate the opening weekend of this great coffee shop. We had the Java Chip Java Freeze, an iced Nutty Pilot, and a hot Mr. Garcia. While all of them were tasty, the Mr. Garcia spiced Mexican chocolate drink was the best! The owner Niki was there and was very welcoming. If you can make it today, there are free airplane cookies baked by the owner... which were magical! I wish the owners well in this venture and I know I'll be back. read more

Such excellent service and oh so yum! Chia tea latte with almond milk was perfect. The banana nut muffins tasted like they had just come from the oven. Delicious! And the chocolate covered espresso beans are to die for. Just an unassuming drive up hutt but oh so good. I tried Flying Java for the first time earlier this summer while visiting family and now it's a required stop when I'm in town! I was totally blown away. The service is fantastic, the owner is so sweet and friendly, and the coffee is wonderful. (And that's coming from a self-proclaimed coffee snob.) ;) As if that weren't enough, I can also vouch for the *homemade* cinnamon rolls and cookies. My all-time favorite order is the Lavender Latte. Even though I've only been here once, and it was a few months ago, this small town coffee shop is fantastic! I'm trying to watch my spending so I'm making my coffee at home now, but my next coffee treat will definitely be with the Flying Java! I told the gal at the window that it was my first time, I like certain flavors, and I don't like it super sweet. She whipped me up something and waited for me to try to before I left so that I knew I liked it. Service wasn't as fast as a big chain company, but the care and flavor was better! Super super nice! I had never been there but the owners mom talked with me for about 30 minuted about ghe behind the scenes and why they love what they do! We tried the strawberry smoothie and it was so so good!
