I know I'll be in a hurry in the morning. Based on other reviews, this area is prone for petty thieves. The recruit didn't print as I asked it to. I took a picture of the price on the pump. I didn't need to go anywhere. Three price is clearly advertised on the sign, credit card is always more than cash. But the difference is not that much. I have an electronic dashboard that tells me how much gas i have left and how many miles i can run on it. But after filling up that gallon, nothing changed on my display. I informed the attendant of this, and they said unfortunately there's nothing they can do because the pump indicated i pumped the gas. so, lesson here. don't come here for gas.

Nevertheless, I locked the car for security when I got out to pump gas. I had just put my card in the pump when I heard glass shatter behind me. It was so loud I thought the dark SUV next to my car had hit me. But no, they smashed the driver's side window, and reached across to take my bag from the passenger seat and quickly drove away. The manager of the gas station was completely unhelpful and even tried to say it was my fault for being robbed. As others mentioned, I believe the staff here has to be a party to this ongoing crime spree. Shout out to the nice other customers that tried to help. I was left to drive a car with the driver's seat covered in broken glass back to my hotel, since I did not feel safe waiting any longer at that location. I had to cancel my flight, and had no money and no ID to fly home to Seattle. Not to mention the loss of my other important items, like prescription medication. I had to cancel all of my credit cards, which the thieves proceeded to try to use at this very gas station! Please don't even stop here. I hope Shell will take action, since the Oakland Police haven't.
