Biggest Costco gas station I've been to in CA so far. Every lane had four pumps. It made getting gas super quick. It also helped that I was there before 9am. I did also like the layout of the gas station. The exit spit you out right onto the main road. I liked not having to navigate the parking lot to exit! read more

Costco Gasoline - Gas Stations Near Me - Hayward, California

Easy in and easy out. Lots of lanes with four pumps in a row. Prices are right. A $1.50 hot dog and a soda just a few steps away. A worthy stop for a quality gas and go. 2.876921 stars via my algorithm. An easy round up to 4 stars. read more

It is so convenient that the gas stalls have been renovated and upgraded . Now, they have 32 stalls with sensors to every stalls, you can see 100 meters out where's the available fuel stall (which is good) and economical. Value is always great! They're much cheaper $ .25ish per liter that's a save on your pocket. There's a trick though, if you just want to go fuel . If you are heading North , more of a labyrinth. But if your heading South it's no brainer. My two cents? Maybe if they have some signs/directions going to the gasoline stall, it will be helpful to other Costco patrons who just wanted to fuel their cars. read more

The revamp of this location deserves new review The renovations help traffic sail so much quicker! There use to be 2 pumps on the left and 4 pumps on the left however now we have 4 pumps all around! Yes it was a bummer to have this location closed for so long but it's totally worth the work and looks great! I came at an off hour but I know for sure lines move quick during those peak hours with the new renovations and additional pumps Gas was 10 cents more than the business center read more

The long line at Costco gas is back, as evident in the photo! But if you're not in a huge rush and is ok waiting 5-10 mins for a fill up, this isn't a bad option to save 10-20 cents per gallon relative to a normal gas station. Quick tip, right half of the gas station has 3 pumps on each side while the left half has 2 pumps on each side. So plan/navigate accordingly! read more

Costco Gasoline - Gas Stations Near Me - Hayward, California

The Costco Hayward Gasoline has been newly renovated and is now open! This location is conveniently located right off the 92 and 880 highways and the main boulevards, Industrial Blvd and Hesperian Blvd. The new gas station feels extensively more spacious and can handle the large crowds that frequents this hot spot. Each lane now consists of 4 pumps, with a total of 8 lines. This helps minimize the wait time in the lines and keeps the customers happy and on their way! The obvious: YOU CAN'T BEAT COSTCO GAS PRICES! I would highly recommend filling up your gas at this location! read more

I haven't been in much of a review-writing mindset, very admittedly... as a healthcare worker and "essential" during this Covid-19 pandemic we are facing globally. It's taken quite a toll on us all, in so many ways, so this will most likely not be most most eloquently exceptional write-up, however, I feel Costco needs to get the cred it deserves. It's a well-known fact - Costco gas is just the most bang for your buck - and we know how it can be, especially living in California where the prices can fluctuate like a mofo, our solace has been Ms. Costco and her savings at the pump we can surely use for other basic needs in life, particularly during these uncertain financial times. Or, for a splurge or 2. California's gasoline prices are notorious for being, let's just say, ridiculous, to spare anyone reading this from how I REALLY feel in which I'd gladly spew a colorful profane rant over, but thankfully, we can turn to Costco for reasonable rates and not leave feeling like we got "screwed" while pumping - oh, the visual. It's such a thing here, though! Typically, gas here can save us anywhere from $0.50c to $0.75c/gal. Now that's music to my ears as well as to the ears of so many. In addition, Costco is really doing their part to abide by the current demand for "social distancing" and each time I've gone during this Rona fiasco, there has been a security attendant monitoring all activity at the pumps. Masked & latex gloved up, we can rest assured that we can feed our thirsty wheeled babies to their heart's content - soon after, a Costco employee, also, with garb, goes around with a spray bottle to every empty pump and cleans each. Can we give it up one time for these amazing "essential" workers who are showing up day in and out though it all? To summarize, go here. Just go. Unless you're filthy rich and enjoy paying out the wazoo for stuff. read more

My car, Lola, has expensive tastes and demands premium gasoline as her meal of preference. Since California has the highest gasoline prices in the nation, every bit of help on costs helps. I always try to feed Lola gas from Costco! Lines are insane on the weekends. It's better to come during the weekdays. Otherwise, nothing to complain about self service. You are your own best service! read more

Costco Gasoline - Rainy and full of patrons - Gas Stations Near Me - Hayward, California

Costco Gas is still the most competitive in rates and I'm so grateful to live just 3min away! I'd recommend avoiding the weekends as you'll be in line forever. Weeknights are much better for getting gas at this location if you're able to swing by then! They're always very well-lit, so I feel safe pumping gas alone at night. It is helpful that they have sensors/lights indicating available pumps. All of their pumps stretch so you can pick whichever line is shorter. If only all lanes had 3 pumps, that would be ideal. Crowds who come late at night are a bit rough so just stay in your lane and avoid eye contact... read more

Competitive prices. Costco is usually the least expensive. This location has a lot of pumps, so even with long lines, it flows pretty quickly. read more

Always the most affordable gas in the area, with plenty of lanes (both 2 & 3 pumps available,) and easy traffic flowing in and out. Amidst COVID this station has been kept spotless and every attendant I've seen is wearing a mask. Kudos to Costco for holding it down during all of these unexpected transitions. read more

Costco Gasoline - COVID19 update. 3/18 - Gas Stations Near Me - Hayward, California

Considering I don't go to Costco to gas up...yeah I'm a gas snob since I used to work for a large oil company, I had to gas up for my mom who gets Costco gas in her car. So I came today and went into line for gas. It was not a super long wait since it was around 3:30pm and for some reason peak times tend to be closer to 4 and it was considering when we left the lines were 3 times as long. It was pretty straight forward. Didn't have any real wow or blah moments while gassing up. So it was ok for what it was worth and the experience was ok as well. read more

If Costco Gas gas was 24 hours, it would be so much easier for Costco members who come home late and have to hit the road early in the morning before they open. I have no idea why they need to close the gas station. Just leave the pumps on and let people get gas before they hit the road. read more

Who doesn't want to fill up their gas tanks for about 25 cents less a gallon than competitors? Yep, that's the savings you get buying your gas at Costco. Throw in a rebate of 2% with your Costco Executive card and 4% with your Citibank Costco Visa, that's another 6% savings. Yes, you need to be a Costco member to buy the gas, but there is a way that you can take advantage of the savings without being a member. If you know someone who's a Costco member, have them purchase for you Costco gift cards, which you can use to buy your gas. Yes, there is always a line to get gas at Costco. The keys to avoid the lines is to get gas during the first two after opening or the last hour before closing. There are 8 lines, with the left four lines having two pumps per island, while the right four lines have three pumps per island. Bottom line, you save some money by buying gas at Costco. read more

I always try to fill up my tank here bc they always have the lowest gas prices in the area, duh. Only downfall is the long lines, but that's expected. Sometimes it could take up to 20 min until you reach a pump. High traffic times are usually noon-8(?). I like to come right before they close at 9:30pm, when it's empty. read more

I believe the Costco Business gas station located at 22330 Hathaway Ave is scheduled to open at the end of April 2022. I always always always get gas here and I feel like people rate this so low because of the fact that they come during the wrongs time when the lines are ridiculously long... The best time to come to get gas is within the first hour of opening, 30 minutes before closing, or at 9-10AM. This place always has the lowest prices on gas. ***HOWEVER, I think people need to learn to have their membership cards and credit/debit cards out and in their hand instead of digging in their wallet when they get out of their car. Like c'mon now, you're sitting in your car waiting for your turn, use your time wisely to get the process of getting gas a little more efficient for others and have everything out and ready to go!! read more

Yeah, baby! Costco gas is almost always the cheapest in the area for the highest quality. I sometimes go out of my way to go get Costco gas rather than my local gas stations as I know it will be the lowest price. Cheapest prices in town, I love that you can go there early in the morning or up to an hour after the Costco store closes. Another thing is you don't have to pay the clerk. You just pay right at the pump when you pull up at the pump. Also, if you have the Costco American Express card you can pay with that and get 2% back on your gas for the year up to $4000. Then its 1% after that. Pretty cool deal there, that's on top of it being the cheapest gas in town too! Coming here for Petro is a no brainer. read more

One of the more updated gas stations so waiting is a minimum during off times, still can become very busy. Moves quickly.

Best priced gas around town. Makes a big difference when the price is about $1 dollar cheaper then everywhere else.the only thing that's bad is the lines they are horrible but at the same time understandable. It's better if you come early or late to get no lines at all. read more

Hate how Costco does nothing to improve a structure way to pump gas. A lot of cars go in the lines not keeping in mind who is behind them causing a huge back up for other drivers leading to the Main Street and main roads in the parking lot. .All the other Costco gas I have been to have made modifications to address this issue for their customers. I love you Costco Gas. If you have a Costco card and you want cheap gas because gas nowadays is crazy expensive, then go to Costco! I'm so happy that this Costco is so close to my house. Though lines can be quite long, they just recently added a few pumps to some of the lanes. Hell yes. Also, I find it funny that some people are super lazy to use the pumps that are opposite from where their tanks are. So most of the time when I come here, I usually don't have to wait in a long line because I end up using the pumps where I have to drag the cord to the other side of my car to fill up. Oh well...saves me time and builds a bit of muscle dragging that long cord ;) Seriously though Costco, you're the only one that I want to have you pump your cheap ass gas in my tank. read more
