Soapy water spray and leaks. Obvious tire puncture i found myself. Their workers could not find it after 3 visits. Ridiculous.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE.Their workers rush through the job without properly checking for issues. I brought my tire in four times for a leak, and they failed to find an obvious sidewall puncture that I discovered myself at home. Instead of identifying the problem, they repeatedly sealed the tire unnecessarily without testing it properly using soapy water or submerging it. They charged me $20 each time, but the tire kept leaking because they ignored the actual issue. This carelessness could have put my safety at risk. Avoid this place.

BASED ON OIL CHANGE! There was a short wait when I arrived, no prior appointments made. This was my first time here for an oil change. I got the regular one (Shell) for $35. The other option was Mobil for $75. Took about 15-20 minutes in total. Quick, attentive, and decent service! Will consider this place for future changes and/or repairs!

Best auto repair shop in Queens county. I've came here for everything- from tire repairs, to oil changes, to inspections, to minor small repairs- this place will fix your car right up. The repairmen are really nice, and so are the bosses (sometimes). They charged me ~120 per tire, ~70 oil change, and ~40 inspection. Im not sure how great their prices are, but they are really nice and efficient. They will have you in and out.

Do not come here if you care about your rims. I stopped by to service my wheel and noticed the technician was using a metal pry bar with my rim as leverage to remove the tire when it was mounted on the machine. They damaged my $1,800 wheel and left multiple gouges/scratches along the edge of the entire rim. When asked about the damage the worker had no response. If you decide to visit, be sure to take pictures of your wheels before handing them off.

    Now they have tires!

Good quick service! Make sure to call ahead and ask if they have the tire you need in stock.

They said that it was the alarm system which he never had a problem with before he had that car for three months so it took them 12 hours to take out the alarm system and they charged $584.that was on June 26, 2026 yesterday July 7, 2026. His car broke down again and did the same thing so I said go back to the place have them look at the car because it's 10 days later and they'll standby their work, but I was wrong. They towed the car they said now all of a sudden he needs an alternator, which was the problem from the beginning. So they quoted us a price of like one price was almost $900 and another price was about $600 to put in an alternator. I said no to the work.. I just wanted to get the car and get out of there because they didn't warranty the work they did originally .. that car was supposed to be in good running condition. No startup issues. Supposedly they checked the car before we picked it up in June ..now it was a different problem which is baloney. They said oh you gotta pay your bill. They charged $136 to tow the car, I said, but if I knew that I would've called AAA for free, he says well you should've done that ..We're not working for free that was his answer so they actually got the car started and they pulled it back into the shop and held the car hostage until I made that payment which I put on my card. I had no choice so if you look at the odometer reading, my tenant put actually 10 miles on that car from the time he picked it up till yesterday when he broke down again I am disputing this. They are corrupt not nice people I will not ever go back there again. Beware

My bottom line is that it's OK for people to go there for tires or a battery but not anything else, thank you. Here's the back story: I had been at this Pep Boys twice before with no problem - once for tires and once for spark plugs. I have a 2011 Honda Pilot. On April 18 I made an appointment for two oil leaks, the "VTEC Solenoid" and valve cover gasket. Showed up at 9 a.m. as planned to drop off the car. Talked to the guy up front, explained that I was there for two oil leak repairs. He ordered the parts on the phone. Said it would be a five hour job once they get the parts. Not a cheap job - well over $1,000. He said car would probably be ready mid-afternoon. I said I'm not staying and will come back. Here's where things started to go weird. About a half out later I get an email from Pep Boys stating "Let's Reschedule Your Appointment." I thought 'That's strange' but didn't worry about it. And, went home. Around 1pm I thought it would be a good idea to go back to Pep Boys. When I got there around 1:30 sat down in the waiting room. The same manager who I talked to in the morning is running back and forth from the garage to the front desk. We make eye contact. Around 3 pm I'm thinking what's up with the car. I look in the work area and my car is not there. Maybe it's finished I think. I circle around the building, however, and my car is still parked in the same spot outside where I left it in the morning. Curious, I go inside and speak to the same manager again. I ask what's up with the car? He says they are still waiting for one part. Wow. They never called me on my cell to inform me there was a delay in getting a part. He never said a word when spotting me in the waiting room. It's now almost 3pm and even if they get the part, if it's really a five hour job, there's no way it's going to get done that day. He must realize that too but says nothing. Now the place was very busy doing tires and whatever else. I can understand juggling things can be difficult. Maybe they were so busy they didn't have time to handle the oil leak job. If that's the case, just tell me in the morning or at some point. But not to say anything is really rude and unprofessional. I basically wasted my whole day and left with two oil leaks unrepaired (one near the alternator which was the bigger problem). Did I yet at the manager? No. I felt sorry for him. Just asked for my keys and left. Do not go there unless it is an emergency.
