Making faces with my adopted Manx, whom we named "Shmaa".

So thankful for this rescue! They have gone above and beyond my wildest expectations, I HIGHLY recommend this rescue to anyone looking to adopt a cat. Lisa- thank you for helping us when we found one of your dumped kitties and helping us adopt him. More importantly, we are forever grateful to you and Fluff Buddies for getting him the veterinary care he needed. You are our kitty cat angel!!

Kitten I adopted: Aristotle (name they gave him: Sutter)

She was so kind to do a meet and greet with my new perspective puppy before I was ready to adopt. Then she helped prepare the adoption with all the paperwork and a little gift basket! Our puppy Max is simply incredible. He is well behaved and was obviously loved during his foster. I am a new puppy parent and have lots of questions. Stacey has been so sweet and helped me with all my questions before and after the adoption! This is a great organization, who truly wants to help animals in need. I hope everyone can find a wonderful new fur-child to adopt and add to their family!

I got all kinds of weird responses from the woman telling me she couldn't answer her phone because she was cleaning and then because she was working graveyard shifts, she kept telling me she was going to call me, but she never did. She then started texting me about another dog that had brain issues and that might be a good one for me (instead of the one I was trying to contact her about.) They advertise online that you could have a meet and greet with the animals, but then they never text the address of where they actually are located. I see another woman commented on this business with a similar experience. Something is very off and wrong. There's very little oversight with places like this unfortunately. Visit your local, SPCA and save yourself the hassle.

Their adoption process is smooth, transparent, and focused on making sure each pet is placed in the right home for a true forever match. They do amazing adoptions--thoughtful matching, great communication, and it's obvious the animals are genuinely loved and well cared for in foster homes. Fosters And Paws goes above and beyond to support both the pets and the adopters, and the care they put into every placement really shows. Highly, highly recommended!

They pushed a…read moredog on us that they claimed was a sweet, easy companion, but what we actually got was a high-drive, reactive dog that needed hours of structure and training every single day. None of that was disclosed. And we have a cat who's lived here peacefully for years, the dog they gave us immediately showed unsafe behaviour toward him biting his neck and ears and not releasing all this as a 9 week old puppy supposedly. When we brought the dog back, the woman there was rude, dismissive, and tried to blame us for not "introducing them right," even though we followed their instructions. The attitude was the exact same as a backyard breeder, take the money, dump the dog on you, refuse to take responsibility, and then guilt-trip you when reality doesn't match what they sold. We lost $500, stressed our home, and risked our cat's safety because they couldn't be honest about what kind of dog they were placing. It felt nothing like rescue work, more like flipping dogs and hiding behind rescue language as apparent when the founder shows up to collect a dog in a brand new 90,000$ Audi. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, JUST ASK THEM FOR PROOF OF WHERE THESE PUPPIES COME FROM.

We had booked a private tour for his birthday to meet the rescue animals who call this beautiful place home. Yasmin met us at the entrance and, after swapping shoes for some solid boots, gave us a very honest, very real, and very important rundown of industrial agriculture. Now, I have to add, neither of us are vegan or even vegetarian, but Yasmin proved to be an actively non judgmental, compassionate host. She walked us through the grounds, addressing each animal by name, and was full of knowledge and insight! After the initial meet and greet, we were off! We hiked across the beautiful grounds and met tons of sheep (Jet loved my partner!) goats, and pigs; all of the animals roam freely, coming and going as they please. It was actually delightful how so many of the animals came up to say hi and hang out out of their own volition! We brought some grapes for the chickens and they LOVED them! But oh my god, the turkeys. Wow, just, two little friendly, fluffy orbs that floated around our party showing off while Yasmin gave us an informed and empathetic story about them. She did that at every habitat; letting us in, introducing us (by name!) to the boldest of the bunch, and explaining how they ended up at Animal Place. It was an entirely wonderful, enlightening experience. Also, fyi, turkeys are so soft. I cannot recommend this organization enough. 10/10, please give Conrad an extra treat for me!

They are very knowledgable and care about the cats and kittens they foster to no end. They are committed to finding them great homes, even if this means they must stay at a foster's home for several months. In May I adopted a 3 year old seal point male. He had been homeless prior and was underweight, flee and worm infested. The foster who was caring for him was wonderful and extremely knowledgable. She assisted me he choosing him after I explained to her what type of cat I was looking for. Several months later she is still available to support and provide advice as well as share photos with! Now I can't imagine my life without new furry friend, Gio. He is the perrrrrfect cat for me! About a month ago I decided that it might be nice for Gio to have a friend, and again Pacific Siamese Rescue helped me choose a perfect little playmate for him. Just yesterday I adopted my second seal point, this time a female, Lu Lu. When I went to meet her, her foster mom, Diana, sat with me for over an hour while we played with the cats and talked. She explained to me in detail how to best integrate the new cat and answered all my questions. She was more than gracious, giving me several of Lu Lu's toys as well as some of the wet and dry food that she had been eating, so that her transition would go a smooth as possible. Gio and I love our new addition already. Somehow the wonderful people at Pacific Siamese Rescue knew that Lu Lu would be a great fit! I love having these 2 wonderful and loving animals in my life! I am sooo greatful to Pacific Siamese Rescue for doing such great work matching the wonderful animals they foster with such caring homes!

She…read moreworks with most of the other local shelters/rescues in the area to save small dogs of all ages and conditions....as she has space available. I have known Odessa for years and have so much respect for her incredible personal commitment to dog rescue. Most of the dogs 'roam' freely in her house, learning to get along with other dogs and with people. Puppies (and moms) stay in the puppy palace (a charmingly converted and furnished garage space). Rescuing and adopting dogs is very hard and very expensive work, since many dogs who were neglected or abused require a lot of love, medical care, and training. Please take any 'negative' reviews with a big grain of salt. All of us who have to deal with the public understand how unreasonable and uncharitable some people can be. This is a truly extraordinary woman who makes great sacrifices to rescue and place dogs in the best possible homes. It's an uphill battle with so many people allowing their dogs to breed and dumping them on rescue. And with some adopters/lookers who can be disrespectful of the process around placing dogs. Very few of us could do this work day in and day out with no reward other than seeing dogs go to the right guardians. Thank you to everyone who supports and adopts from rescue, saves lives, and appreciates those doing the really hard work. And please consider fostering a little dog if you can. It's a rewarding experience being part of the pipeline to forever homes.
