Massive portions are the norm here. Charming little house with great servers. Really enjoyed the experience, made special by the personnel more than the food.

    Outside! Easy to spot!

Try this diner for the first time and a visit to Victoria. It was a quick walk from our hotels, the Empress and the grand Pacific. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived here . Although a bit loud and hectic, we were seated by friendly staff, and our orders were taken promptly. The breakfast food was delicious, Great sized portions. and the coffee was hot . We actually returned the next day as well !

Loved the energy of the staff (Eric was our waiter) , loved the food, the ambiance, the menu style and had a very good experience. Definitely would recommend this place. We had the Moroccan Benny, American idol Benny (recommendation from Eric) and the Grilled cheese from kids menu. And of course fresh hot coffee refill. Went around 2 pm and I could see few tables occupied (didn't expect that to be honest). Parked on the street close to the restaurant.

Super friendly, warm service, delicious food. Go for the Mahoney.. best $0 I've ever spent!

Our breakfast which I think is an eggs Benedict half order.

This breakfast was from Floyd's Diner and it was delicious. Sadly I can't remember what it was, however the people who sat next to us did the coin flip for the chefs plate which was a mystery and when we saw it, it looked amazingly delicious and I could kick myself for not taking a photograph of it but I didn't want to pry into their feasting but it ended up they got it for free. So it paid off haha!! I do recommend this place if you're in this part of town and I love fried potatoes at breakfast time.

    Poutine!

"My goodness". My wife and I came in specifically for the poutine, and stayed for the twisted teas and Mcfloydfin. The staff is friendly and attentive, the decor is fun, nostalgic and homey, mixed with wit and charm. BUT LET'S TALK ABOUT THE POUTINE. Crispy fries, deep, rich gravy, and melted cheese curds with the perfect pull. This is a treat and a lesson in perfect execution. The Mcfloydin is a pretty standard issue breakfast sandwich done right - over hard egg, slightly crisped bacon, melted cheese, and mild chipotle mayo. I sat back and said "my goodness" about 5 times during our Tuesday morning breakfast. Definitely a "must try", just a few moments from the Clipper.

Last time I was in Victoria, I was supposed to go to Floyd's but then life got in the way. But the most recent trip I was able to go and it definitely lived up to the hype. My boyfriend ordered the Mahoney, and honestly, I was jealous. It is what they are known for and it is always different. Basically, it was the chef's choice so if I ordered the Mahoney mine would have been completely different than his. When you order the Mahoney you also have the option to flip a coin to either get it for free or pay double. We got nervous so we didn't flip but maybe next time I am in town, Ill be feeling lucky.

What a wonderful time and experience in Victoria. We were in the area to try and see if we could go to blue Fox Café originally, but there was such a long lineup that we decided to check into our hotel and look around the neighborhood. Our eyes could not avert the beautiful hot pink colour that was this little diner. Floyd's has a great menu with breakfast brunch and lunch items and the staff are so kind. We ordered the chicken and waffles Benny and the BC hash and the portions are very generous and reasonable. Each dish still comes in around 18-20$ but we felt it was worth it. Highly recommend if you're in the area. As an additional note, the washrooms are tiny and I would say accessibility wise it is a little tight. They also have seating outdoors which is quite nice.

Super funky atmosphere - so much cool pop memorabilia to look at. Our waitress was great - friendly, appropriately chatty, attentive. Food was delish. Would definitely go again.

Good food with lots of options. Love all the seasonal veggies in the Morrocan chicken. Potatoes were super crispy and not greasy at all. Eggs poached beautifully. Didn't give 5 stars because it wasn't particularly child friendly. Although our waiter was awesome, the staff that seated us made a loud, odd comment about our child.

Fun ambiance with pink and old Hollywood and rock stars. Good food. The Benny with bacon was the bomb. Prices were fair.

We were passing by and decided to take a break before getting back on our bikes. Little June is a charming coffee shop serving breakfast, brunch, and pastries/baked goods. Fernwood coffee is also available here. We ordered an iced latte and an iced London fog. My particular favourite was the iced latte. I believe they utilize Earl Grey powder for their London fog, and I was pleasantly pleased by how wonderful it tasted. It was unusual because I was not used to the powder but rather the tea bags. The host at the cashier was really kind and provided wonderful service. They have tons of seatings. I loved how open and airy the space was! I'll have to try their brunch the next time I visit. I highly recommend this cute little spot!

It was delicious and beautiful. A lot of love and effort is put into this. Sylvia's scones are phenomenal. If she opened up a bakery I would buy all her scones and loaves. The bathroom is a nice size with a big tub. So why the three stars? There is a radiator in the room but ours didn't work well and would heat up and did not stay hot. We were cold. If you are on the first floor please note that sound travels. you can really hear any movement above you and you can hear conversations very well outside your room which didn't make me feel particularly comfortable since I'm sure even just is talking normally can be heard by others as well. Didn't feel amazing from a privacy perspective. When you book it says there is daily housekeeping. There's no daily housekeeping. We were asked if anything was missing from our room by the breakfast server but nothing else. If you're expecting your trash to be emptied or bed to be made that did not happen our whole stay. Location: not really walkable to the downtown area or most things in Victoria. A couple other small things that I wouldn't even mention if the above two were no issue: The bed was okay although not super comfortable in my opinion. The outlets are really inconvenient and there aren't many. They mention there is tea, hot chocolate, and coffee. There's no hot chocolate and no creamer in your room if you want some later. I do think this place could be good for others but it was not the right fit for us. For a bed and breakfast the room just wasn't super comfortable for us to want to spend time there.

Sylvia is a gracious experienced host with great recommendations for dinner spots. We tried both Pennyfarthing and Pagliacci and were happy with the both choices. Pagliacci had a good live band. And to top it off a small herd of deer have made the neighborhood their home. It all added up to a great stay. We'll book Fairholme again for sure.
