It's a chiropractic / therapeutic massage so it's not all relaxing but it gets the job done and she mixes in some more relaxing parts too. She handles the insurance billing which is nice. Jeremiah has an amazing understanding of the musculature on the body and how it all is put together. He can use insanely deep pressure which I have NEVER found before and is good at providing options if he hits a 'nerve'. Both massages I felt much better than when I arrived....not just relaxed but a sense that more parts of my body were working well. His studio is very cool, in an industrial neighborhood in Georgetown, on a second floor walk-up studio. Quite large and bright. Jeremiah himself seems super sweet and genuine (and no he didn't pay me for a review). Highly recommend for active people that never quite get their muscular pains addressed.

A few months ago, my back pain intensified and I felt like I really needed to get some immediate relief. I planned on seeing Jeremiah, thinking it would be a quick massage to alleviate the pain temporarily and eventually be back in the same pain a few days later, as I always am. Wow, was I ever wrong. Jeremiah is AMAZING! I've honestly never had a professional give me a massage who actually worked towards getting me to feel better permanently and not just temporarily. Of course, he's not a magician nor a surgeon, so it's not like everything will be fixed completely for the rest of my life. However, this was the first time where I felt relaxed and like something was actually done for me after leaving my appointment. Jeremiah is extremely thorough and super knowledgeable when it comes to the human body. He is indeed a true healer and has the Midas touch. :) Also, his place is very relaxing and clean. I appreciate that he has never hassled me about getting me in for more sessions or making me feel as though he is money hungry, like most other places I've been to. He is truly amazing and cares about your well-being. I recommend him to anyone and everyone needing pain relief and someone who genuinely cares.

Caroline is, by far, the best massage therapist to work on my battered body (I'm a full-time kickboxing instructor and a former bartender). I am a happy, regular client. I began visiting Caroline about 1.5 years ago. Through regular sessions with Caroline I learned how my body works and am able to take preventative measure to avoid chronic pain. Her skill in explaining anatomical issues and offering alternatives to common movements has allowed me to regain control of my body, fix my posture and start to work on improving my flat feet. Caroline works in a number of complementary disciplines, offering a full-range of massage therapy treatments (try the Ashiatsu Bar Massage, you will melt off the table). Her skill in identifying your body's issues and selecting the appropriate therapy is unmatched in my past experience with a half-dozen other massage therapists. Caroline has a complex understanding of mind/body health. She is incredibly intuitive, often identifying physical, mental or emotional issues before I've had time to process them. Her sessions are great for centering and grounding me. As a small-business owner, I operate on a high-volume of stress.
