Kelly went above and beyond in adding even more than the website showed to make this selection extra special. My friend sent me the picture and I was so impressed by the absolutely beautiful arrangement. It was also delivered when promised. I will never use another local florist as this place is amazing. Flowers on the Ridge provided me with a beautiful Christmas floral arrangement that my cousin ordered from Spokane. It lasted for weeks and had things like pine cones and eucalyptus in a red glass square vase So tasteful and uplifting for my whole family. When it wasn't on my island it went in the center of my dining room table. So much thought and care went into it so it wasn't too high to block people when acting as the centerpiece. I went in on the day of my fiancees bridal shower and they quickly put together the most beautiful bouquet!

Unfortunately, I did not listen to the other negative reviews on here. I ordered a Valentine's Day arrangement with a dozen roses, vase, decorations, etc. Upon receiving it all was well until my fiancé noticed that there were only 11 roses. Not to blast these folks over one rose, but that's no coincidence. It's Valentine's Day and for every arrangement with 11 roses they have a freebie they can charge retail and forego the cost of the flowers for that one boutique. I've always been one to support small and local businesses, but this was truly an upsetting experience. It's safe to say that myself, and my network of colleagues, co-workers, family and friends will never be going back to Flowers on The Ridge. There's a reason people are using big box stores and online services now. read more

I order a sympathy floral arrangement direct from their website a beautiful Endless Sky Spray in purples and lilacs. This was suppose to be a beautiful sentiment to a dear friend who passed. What arrived at the funeral home was not even close to what I ordered. It was a yellow arrangement and flowers were scarce. What a disappointment! I wonder if this occurs a lot since most people probably don't check or recipient wouldn't know what was gifted!!! Very very annoyed and disappointed. read more

I hate to see the terrible past review on here because I had such a different experience with Flowers on the Ridge. Richard and his team did all of the flowers for my recent wedding. He gets very different ratings on all of the wedding websites. Richard was so patient with me and my fiance. He took a lot of time meeting with us and offered up such great suggestions. We gave him an idea of what we wanted and boy did he deliver. His work was beautiful and pricing was very fair. Everyone kept telling me how gorgeous the room looked. We went into Flowers on the Ridge at 930am sat and asked for 3 flower arrangements for a restaurant table - for a pick up at 1pm! The arrangements were gorgeous. I usually use one of the online services to send flowers but neither ftd or 1800flowers had what I wanted or could do it when I wanted. I live in Boston and wanted to send my mother (in Basking Ridge) sunflowers the next day. I called a couple of places in the Basking Ridge area and neither of them had sunflowers but then I happened upon Flowers On The Ridge and I couldn't be happier. I can say with complete certainty that I was thoroughly annoying when I kept changing the sentiment on the card yet the man who took my order (the owner?) was very patient with me. He also explained that getting them the next morning would be no problem. Fast forward to the next morning and I was actually on the phone with my mother when the doorbell rang so I got to hear the whole thing. The man delivering the sunflowers could not have been any nicer or sweeter to my mother. That was extra special. Not only was the price better, but the flowers were better and the arrangement beautiful, AND the delivery was better than any of those other places. I'm really pleased I used Flowers On The Ridge and will continue to in the future. read more

HORRIBLE! RUINED OUR MOTHERS DAY! MADE MY MOM CRY!! I custom ordered flowers for my mom here and the owner sold them to somebody else without even calling us. Then he lied about selling them the day before, and then changed his story to "oh I sold them to the guy who came in before your mom". My mom said she watched the other customer walk out with her flowers and the owner didn't even go after him!!! Then he told my mom he was closing in 10 minutes even though his sign said open until 2pm (40 mins out). He then huffily and reluctantly said he'd give my mom one of the old leftovers in the case,but was such a jerk about it he made her cry and she couldn't stand being in the shop anymore. I ordered a sympathy arrangement from 1800flowers.com, who use this florist for delivery to Martinsville, NJ. The arrangement delivered looked like it came from a grocery store, and did not resemble what was ordered. The lilies were missing and they did not even bother to replace with some other flower, so it was very sparse. The vase on the ad was a modern cylindrical one, but they shipped a ginger jar shaped vase (ala 1980) with a cheap ribbon, yet no ribbon was advertised. And the bouquet shape itself was not full and round as advertised. 1800Flowers had them redo the order and even then it did not look like what was ordered. It did have some lilies but still an ugly oval cheap vase, and they again skimped on the number of flowers so not at all what was advertised. An attorney general complaint has been filed naming both parties in bait and switch. read more

I received a birthday bouquet from Flowers on the Ridge. The arrangement was SO BEAUTIFUL! The gentlemen who delivered them said Happy Birthday to me and I was delighted. That was on July 2..... my birthday is July 4th..... Today is July 17..... The Flowers look as nice today as the day they arrived. I do have to keep water in the Vase.... and the flowers are drinking! Oh..... the Vase..... It is NOT a standard vase you usually get from a florist...... The Vase I received is a gorgeous violet color with 3 rows of little diamonds along the bottom..... and the inside of the Vase is white. Everyone who see the flowers says how nice they are and then they see the Vase. I will have to go to this shop...... their flowers are beautiful and very fresh! read more

Incredible flowers and service!! Richard did the flowers and bouquets for our wedding. Upon our first meeting, I felt confident he was going to deliver something wonderful but he knocked it out of the park!! My fiancé and I had some ideas of what we were looking but Richard knew what to suggest to complete "the look" and highlight things just right!! He was so easy to work with and responsive to any changes we made along the way, any ideas we had. I literally cried (tears of joy) when I saw the bouquets he delivered to the hotel on the wedding day because they were absolutely STUNNING!!! The centerpieces and other arrangements were beyond our wildest dreams. Our guests could not wait to take the centerpieces home. Thank you for your amazing work on our wedding!!!
