I have never been in a store that sells almost exclusively stamps. That alone gives this store 5…read morestars. I was on my way to Egg Harbor, when this store caught my eye on the main road in sturgeon bay. Apparently this store used to be in Egg Harbor, but moved to Sturgeon Bay this year. You can't miss it, its a great big purple house! Inside, there are seven "rooms" filled with stamps. I probably could have spent all day, and a ton of money looking at the entire inventory. What I loved about this store is it has displays above the stamps, giving you an idea of what they would look like colored in. The stamps aren't cheap, but the selection is more unique than you would find in any big box craft store. I shop online a lot (ebay, amazon, joanns, stamp retailer websites) and I found some stamps that I felt were "hard to find." Scrapbookers will love that they sell Door County stamps here. They also sell scrapbook paper, inks, glitters, glues, and a few stickers. I was looking for embossing folders and die cuts too, but ultimately didn't find any I HAD to have. If you like to craft, you need to put this store on your itinerary!

She understood and delivered exactly what I needed and exceeded my expectations with display, taste and variety. There wasn't a dish I didn't like, but some of my favorite dishes were the Hawaiian luau rice with ham, pineapple, coconut and macadamia nuts, yum! Also loved the grilled chicken pineapple kabobs. Also for breakfast the spinach & gruyere cheese quiche with hash brown crust was a huge hit! The antipasti charcuterie boards were beautiful and so tasty, especially the savory cheesecake. And lastly the two decadent desserts we ordered, both the puff pastry cherry hand pies and lemon ginger cheesecake bites...OMG!

First of all, it bears…read morementioning that I made about 25 calls to private chefs before finding someone who was interested in working with the budget that I'd proposed and the parameters thatI laid out. We were a party of four with some severe dietary restrictions. We also had a really clear vision of what we wanted to eat. Lori made the planning process fun and efficient. Unlike every other company I called, Lori made me feel like the sky was the limit as far as what we could plan. I had mentioned some foods that she hadn't made before, and she explained that she would figure out how to get them made and not to worry. Lori arrived about a half hour after she said she would, so our first course came out about a half hour late. All was forgiven, as each course was positively exquisite. On top of the delicious food, Lori was pleasant to everyone, including babies, toddlers, and dogs. The icing on the cake is she left my kitchen spotless. By the end of the meal, I was ready to hire her as my personal chef, and I will unquestionably invite her back to cook in my kitchen.
