A fine enough hotel for the price, with a couple of significant issues in our particular room…read more First off, the front desk service on check-in was great. We needed her a total of three times in the first few hours, and I wish that I had caught her name. The room was overall fine, with two specific but significant complaints. Number one: the bed was so damn noisy as to prevent a good night's sleep. Climbing in let off a holy creaking racket, and rolling over was just as bad. Even just shifting around slightly made noise. So annoying. Number two: the toilet did not flush properly. It was like that when we showed up. We didn't use it for the first time until just before bedtime, so it didn't seem worth it to get someone to come up and try to fix it. I told the front desk at check-out and they offered no apology, just an "Okay, I'll let them know." Not cool. The price was pretty good, the location was convenient, and they provide Pack 'n Plays at no additional cost. Breakfast was solid, not as good as a Hampton Inn but included: orange juice, apple juice, milk, coffee, tea, water (upon request), eggs, sausage links, some kind of weird potato bites, french toast sticks, six cold cereals, yogurt, oranges, and pastries. Other specific notes: + Interesting river views on one side of the hotel + Easy parking just steps from the front door + Free wi-fi (which I did not use) +/- Mini fridge...which was unplugged on arrival - No glasses, just plastic cups - Those annoying two-part theft-deterring hangers

Where to start... My wife, child, and I stayed here for one night and were extremely disappointed,…read moreespecially considering the price we paid. After settling into our room, we went out to grab dinner. When we returned, we asked the front desk for paper plates and cutlery. They directed us to the hotel restaurant, where we stood for about 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Frustrated, we gave up and returned to the room. When I sat on the edge of the bed to eat, the box spring snapped and I fell to the floor. The bed frames are too small to properly support the mattress. We were moved to a new room, but the experience didn't improve much. In the new room, the bathtub had hair all over it -- absolutely disgusting. Later, we took our child to the pool, only to find it littered with used towels and even a band-aid on the floor. When we asked the front desk for fresh pool towels, we were told they didn't have any left and that a manager had been called. At that point, I couldn't help but wonder where the cleaning or maintenance staff were, as the area clearly needed attention. We ended up walking back to our room dripping wet. The beds were uncomfortable, making sleep difficult, and the TV barely worked -- channels kept skipping and eventually we just turned it off. To top it all off, when we checked out the next morning, the elevator smelled like someone had just vomited in it. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Overall, this was a very poor experience. We will never stay here again. Next time, we'll choose one of the nearby hotels -- even if they don't have a pool.

The moment I opened the door I was greeted with a musty, moist scent. Now, I travel with room spray in case something like this happens, but it gets you worried about mold. I noticed that the air unit hadn't been on, so maybe that was the deal? I had to call down to the front desk just to check the time. The clock in my room was an hour behind, and I honestly thought I might have crossed into another time zone. Can it actually be that the room hadn't been used since daylight savings? Hm...Maybe everyone uses their cellphone now. Breakfast was a bust. It was crazy packed at a quarter to nine, so I had to shuffle out into the lobby with my plate. The ginormous vat of oatmeal was a no go, having been reduced to a congealed layer. Cereal then? Maybe not-- there was about a half inch of milk sitting out in a carton on the counter. It was nice that they offered french toast and bacon in addition to the standard waffle-matic machine. Breakfast potatoes too, which were(of course ) empty. Free wi-fi, coffee and tea in the lobby. I would probably try a different hotel if I had to stay again, but all in all, nothing was bad.

It's definitely has a budget hotel aesthetic but more expensive than I would have expected to pay. The decor is outdated in the room we had, but it was very clean. New air conditioner, we thought the mattress and pillows were fine. The front desk attendant also runs a 24/7 tanning salon onsite which was interesting! We came knowing the free breakfast isn't great based on other reviews. They serve it from 6-9am and at 8am on a Sunday, they had several cereals, no milk left (replenished later), the microwave meat breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, pastries, juices, coffee, bagels, etc. Not an exciting breakfast scenario with fresh options but options nonetheless. There's a workout room advertised but we didn't find it and only stayed one night so didn't feel the need to ask. Great view of Green Bay behind the building. Grills, tables. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Police station across the street. We felt like it was a safe area. If needed, we would stay here again!

My parents and I have stayed here several times over the past decade when visiting family up north…read moreand have never had such a poor experience as this latest stay. We were kept up until three in the morning due to loud guests in the room next to us. These guests were regularly slamming doors when entering and exiting the room every few minutes, having speakerphone conversations in the hall, and allowing non-guests in and out of the building. Not to mention, the walls are paper thin so we could hear everything they were saying. When we politely mentioned that our neighbors had been disruptive upon checkout, the front desk individual very curtly responded that we should have told them sooner. While we certainly understand this, such a defensive response caught us off guard. Even a simple, "We're sorry to hear that. Thank you for letting us know, though we do hope you'll notify us sooner next time," would have been appreciated. We also shared that there were several vehicles loitering in the lot well past midnight with people regularly exiting and entering the building, to which the response was, "How are we supposed to know who comes and goes." It's clear there is very little regard for guest safety and security which is incredibly alarming. We have since filled out the survey where this was noted, only for the property manager to respond that they don't have any safety issues because law enforcement is nearby (see photo). I understand this is a budget hotel, but such dismissive customer service is unacceptable, especially when legitimate concerns are raised. I dislike writing such poor reviews but I will never be returning here and hope this helps others looking to book a hotel in the area.

Marinette Inn - Tv plugged into wall...doesn't stay so they just tried to tape it. However cheaper out so bad they didn't even use duct tape.

This is a small, roadside motel in Marinette. It's not, nor does it proclaim to be, a fancy hotel…read moreat $60-65 a night for a single king room. However, for what you pay, you get a clean room and friendly staff, a robust satellite TV lineup, small microwave, and mini-fridge. The rooms also include DVD players and they have many movies available for you to borrow at no charge. Although I didn't bring one, the motel is also pet friendly. As other reviews have noted, it's a little dated but well-kept. I only have a few small issues with it. When I first looked for rooms, booking.com and other sites had it for $60. Since I read another review indicating a "lost" reservation, however, I thought it would be best to book over the phone. When I did, the price was $65 and they said it was the last room (true--they were booked). It wasn't worth arguing to me, but keep it in mind if you make a phone reservation. Although the room was clean, walking on the carpet after showering left black residue on my feet. I suspect it's due to the type of carpeting. It wasn't a big deal to me, but it's something they should look into on their end. In addition, the bath towels are quite small so if you visit, you may want to bring your own. Finally, and my only major gripe, was lack of coffee. There are no coffee pots in the rooms but upon check-in, there was a coffee station in the lobby. As someone who wakes up quite early and requires coffee to function, I was disappointed to find the lobby locked and lights off. Instead of buzzing to wake someone, I drove (quite poorly) to KwikTrip for some brew. So--if are an early riser and need coffee to function, keep that in mind. I have family in Marinette and will be starting to visit them more frequently. Despite my small issues with this motel, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again--but will bring my Keurig.

Makes me wonder if I actually put my body in washed sheets to begin with. Combative lazy staff. Never come here.

Our backup to it didn't have a 2 bed option open by then, so, here we are. checked in at 10pm on Fri Oct3, with parents in tow. We booked a King Deluxe Studio Suite for us ($111ttl) & were assigned room 105. We booked Standard 2 Double Bed ($96) for the parents & noted difficulty walking long distances. On check-in, they were upgraded to a 2 Double Bed with kitchen, room 101, first room on the right. It's fantastic that they paid attention to that, as my father had a stroke a while back & is determined not to use a walker or wheelchair, only a cane. There were no odd odors, aside from the scent of a fresh dinner delivery that walked in just before us. The rooms were reasonably clean & in fair condition. There are some good-sized chips in the paint. It could use a refreshing. At this price tho, I can handle some dinged up walls! I found staff to be friendly and accommodating.
