The unit was very cozy with a large master bedroom with a king size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a nice living room, seating area and a very pleasant patio overlooking the lake and the swimming pool. There was a large bathroom with a shower and a beautiful whirlpool bath. It had all the comforts of home. The staff was very friendly. We were served a complementary breakfast brought to our door every day with our choice of menu items. This was the best decision we could have made. We had such a lovely stay here. Tom and Linda were so friendly and welcoming. Tom showed us to our room upon arrival to make sure we knew where everything was, and he also provided us with local food recommendations (the taco pizza from Happy Joes was phenomenal). Linda makes the best breakfasts ever that we are still thinking about. We had breakfast delivered to our room the first morning, and we enjoyed breakfast on the patio the following morning. The house itself is stunning, and our room (Vienna Balconies) was clean, cozy, spacious, and inviting. The jacuzzi was wonderful, and we were even supplied with approved bath salts, along with delicious local chocolates. Such a perfect and romantic place! We had the absolute best stay at the Astor House and both my husband and I said that we have never felt more welcome at any guest house or lodging than we did at the Astor House. Both Tom and Linda went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, tended to, and spoiled by their intentional hospitality. The breakfasts were 10/10 and we ended up talking about how delicious the food was all day long. We stayed in the Marseilles room which was beautifully decorated, stylish, very large space, and super comfortable king-sized bed. More than anything, Tom and Linda have a natural gift for making guests feel both comfortable and welcome, as if we were family staying in their home. We highly recommended staying at this BnB, and we will certainly be back again the next time we are in Green Bay!

Both times I've visited, we sat outside. It's in my top tier of places to eat in Door County. Like I said, if you are not a vegan or vegetarian, don't be scared off by the fact that most of the menu is meatless -- with flavors like this, it doesn't matter.

Donna and Mike renovated the entire house and put their personal touches in the most thoughtful ways. The place is meticulously cleaned, decorated, and organized. We were greeted with home made cookies and offered wide range of delicious drinks by Donna, followed by a tour of the house when Donna and Mike shared with us the history of the house, it immediately impressed my husband and I how much they love to host their guests and how much they love the place. They have VERY high standards for themselves on the experience they want their guests to have. They have everything you could ever need on a trip ready for you where/when you need it, Mike even offered me a leg pillow! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. The next morning, our breakfast was egg ham croissants, rhubarb shortcakes and grapefruits, all sorts of beverages options, and to top it off, each of us were given a piece of freshly baked pastry for our long drive back to Chicago. I use Yelp frequently but rarely wrote reviews. I feel compelled to write about Donna and Mike and their lovely B&B. Highly recommend this place for a home away from home, whether for a girlfriend weekend getaway, family reunions and other group functions, they truly embody MidWest warmth and hospitality!
