I love apple cider donuts, but Wisconsin is known for its cherries. I was not a fan of the cherry donut sample I tried. I did end up getting some coffee, jelly, and dried cherries to take home. They have lots of home decor items and cherry donuts that are deep-fried into chips, which I did not try. You can also get a cup of coffee, and they have lots of pie and baked goods. Thursday morning we went to your store and bought 2 Ribeye steaks to cook on the grill for dinner while we packed and got ready to depart on Friday. We were really excited to try them after seeing your business advertised all over the county. Unfortunately our excitement turned to disappointment. Our steaks were not of the quality we were expecting. They were tough and somewhat dry. The sweet potato was very good but that was not enough to justify the $55 we spent on 2 steaks and a sweet potato. My husband also ran back in and grabbed a $12.95 rub for the steaks. Much of the wine reflects the local harvest. Apples, pears, strawberries, rhubarb, and locally grown grapes are used to make wines that are truely Yooper. I ended up getting a bottle of the 4 berry wine. It has a perfect blend of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. I had a sample and was delightfully pleased with the balance between sweetness and tartness. FYI: they charge $5.00 for wine tasting. Next time in the area, I plan to get the strawberry rhubarb wine.
