Lu got back to me within 30 minutes (with the best quote of 3 florists who got back to me, and the nicest pictures of previous bouquets she's done), asked a couple questions, and set up a time for me to pick them up the next day. Well... I hadn't anticipate Miami traffic correctly and ended up running late. So late that I would've been late to my sister's graduation, except that Lu saved the day and met in a place where I didn't get stuck in traffic and could get to the graduation on time. Most importantly, the flowers were absolutely beautiful and my sister loved them! Thank you!

Not only did she…read moreknow what that meant; she provided an extremely thorough proposal with photos of everything (Another florist we consulted told us to look at her Instagram and tell us what we liked -- and everything was white!). Her prices were reasonable, and the flowers were beautiful. Only small complaint was that the corsages and boutonnieres fell apart very quickly. They were glue-gunned instead of wired. She did give us a refund for them, but when I use her for my younger daughter's wedding (and I will), I'll either insist that these items be held together with wire, or I'll just buy those elsewhere. Otherwise, we got many compliments on the flowers, and she also added extra touches we hadn't paid for, such as little bud vases on the tables for the cocktail hour.

We originally contacted Eli about the florals, after mind-numbingly searching high and low for a florist in our price range, and one who would work with us, and it was such a breath of fresh air to work with her on everything from my bouquet to the floral arch and the decor. She helped me turn my vision into reality and never told me no to any of my ideas. Even after it took MONTHS to finally sign on the dotted line after back and forth, Eli made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Because of this, we also hired her as our day-of wedding planner, but she did far more than just day-of. She made sure everything was ready, from the tables to the bridal party lining up, even helping us figure out how to get that "dip" for after the ceremony during our rehearsal. Lastly, she even worked with my mother-in-law to secure table florals for the rehearsal dinner. She set everything up, broke everything down, and even allowed us to re-use the florals for the next day in other areas of the venue. She is an absolute DREAM and the whole package. If you are searching for the right florist or planner, do not search any more!! She was even ready to scold our guests when things got a little too crazy! THANK YOU ELI for being there on my wedding day and practically a year even before that to answer all of my questions. I know it was a lot, and I could not have done it without you!!

Stop hesitating or debating over whether you think you *need* a wedding planner....You NEED Abby! I found Abby in perfect time -- about two months before my wedding -- and she was a true God-send! Immediately from the start, she made me feel calm and made me feel like everything was going to be okay -- and it was! We sat down together about a month before the big day and we went through EVERYTHING together: who my vendors were, what I had for a schedule so far, what my vision was for the decor, what my vision was in general, my to-do list, etc. There were big holes in my wedding to-do list and Abby stepped right up to the plate. She rolled up her sleeves and got to work in helping me finish all of the last-minute planning details that I just didn't have the time for. She called all of my vendors, confirmed their services and arrival times, sent them each schedules, and helped me figure out a transportation schedule for my wedding guests. Fast-forward to the day of the wedding. It's early. I'm inside the venue (where my family and I also stayed the night), just waking up, and I look out my window. There's Abby, coffee in hand, getting right to work with setting things up. A couple of hours later, while I'm getting my hair done, Abby comes in to check on me and make sure I feel good and have everything I need. I peek outside the window and our reception area is looking fabulous! I've never felt so RELAXED...I knew my wedding was totally handled and there was nothing for me to worry about. I just had to drink my wine and enjoy my day :) If there were any problems on my wedding day, I didn't have a clue. She always had her clipboard in hand with all of the details, schedule, phone numbers...everything at her fingertips. My mom and mom-in-law were always asking her questions, needing this, needing that, and while I was rolling my eyes at them, she handled all of their questions, favors, and needs with grace and a genuine smile. Throughout the wedding evening and in the days, even weeks after the wedding, all of my guests were saying that my wedding was truly the best they'd ever been to -- all of that praise honestly goes right to Abby. Also, on top of all of this, Abby is just a really cool person! She's got such an interesting background and is just a lot of fun to be around -- which made it easy to have her be with me on wedding day. If you'll take anything away from reading this review, it's two things: 1) Let's face it, you're reading reviews for wedding planners -- so you NEED a wedding planner and 2) That wedding planner should be Abby. I must have compared at least 15 florists before I met Marilyn, the woman behind Petals with Poise…read more When I reached out to her, I had given up hope that anyone would be able to bring my wedding vision to life here in Miami (an enchanted forest meets dark academia concept). I shared this with her and without missing a beat, Marilyn said "No wedding is the same, but we do this kind of thing all the time." I didn't need to give her much direction. Within minutes, she had created a sample tablescape using the unique pieces in her highly curated, vintage collection. It was like she had read my mind. Marilyn just GETS it. Most florists will put together basic, cookie-cutter arrangements and centerpieces, but Marilyn is NOT like most florists. She does not put you in a box and she has incredible range and impeccable taste. She'll respect your vision, but she's not afraid to share her opinion and advise you so that your event is elegant and beautiful, which is refreshing. Aside from sharing my Pinterest board and general moodboard with Marilyn, I didn't have to do much. She respected my budget, kept me informed throughout, and was flexible when I had changes here and there. When I arrived at my wedding, I was blown away. I had high expectations, but she surpassed them a million times over. She is a creative genius. The photos I'm attaching (some professional, some from phone cameras) don't even begin to do her work justice. I would definitely work with Marilyn again and would recommend her to anyone in need of florals, whether for a wedding, baby shower, corporate event, or anything in between.

We had a very specific color scheme and design in mind which we were able to achieve. Flor even made some wonderful suggestions of elements to add so that the final arrangements were even better than we had planned Throughout our process we went through every part of the wedding with Flor who helped us make some decoration decisions and got us to a place we were very happy with. After working with her, we were confident in Flor's abilities and thanks to her we were able to relax a bit knowing that everything would be done right. We also had a much tighter timeline than ideal, but thanks to Flor's flexibility, hard work and willingness to help us our wedding was a great success! The table decorations and centerpieces were beautiful and Flor went out of her way to make sure that all of the tables were properly decorated and set up - such as the candy table, the sweetheart table (which came out amazing!) and the cake and gift tables. Everything flowed together perfectly and the ballroom looked wonderful. We received many compliments on the arrangements and decorations from all of our guests.

Very unprofessional and quite shocked at how the business owner handled a price quote conversation…read moreearlier today. Just leaving this here for anyone considering working with this company. I am 33 weeks pregnant and looking for a flower bar for our baby girl's shower! We received three price quotes, one from this company and two others. I spoke to the owner, Olivia, over the phone, and initially, the conversation was great, and she seemed very pleasant and nice to work with. Unfortunately, this took a turn after receiving the price quote via text and asking questions about it. We were a little concerned with the pricing for the delivery and set up at $100 each and asked if there was any discount that could be provided (as the other two companies we reached out to quoted us $75 and another $150 for delivery and set up). Naturally, as an owner of a company, you know people usually question pricing when you send a quote. Especially if they have seen lower numbers, and this should always be handled professionally and respectfully. The owner asked for proof of a detailed quote and said she would match it. Once I provided the quote, she started almost laughing at the other company, saying that they were charging us less because they were just bringing a foldable table. Also sending pictures, circling things, and sending laughing emojis. Again, these are not actions you would expect from a professional woman or business owner. In reality, after speaking with the other company, they charge $75 for delivery both ways, and this includes any setting up and removal. They also bring a pretty display with the flowers, wrapping paper, ribbon of our choosing and provide the same DIY service we were requesting. if the answer was no to the discount, that's really all that needed to be said. There are a few companies that we have worked with previously that simply said Hey, these are our prices, and we hope you work with us!. Really, any alternative would've been better than the way this business owner handled herself. Also, laughing at another family-run/woman-run business is just a not the energy I would want at a 41-person female event (not to mention for my baby girl). Please do better!
