Flowers by Natasha We had a great experience with Natasha for our wedding in Sea Ranch this past Fourth of July weekend. We also run a wedding adjacent business, and we were a little insecure about the amount of personal attention we put into calling people instead of just sending them a rate sheet, but dealing with Natasha really made it clear that calls and personal attention are absolutely crucial to a great business and a great product. We had an amazing call to start off with a lot of great feedback and insight into the space and the community and at the end of the day Natasha practically read our minds and delivered exactly the right arrangements for the space. Maybe we weren't the first ones to say "we'd like to use native plants and riff on the colors of the chapel and the sunset" but she really nailed it. We DIY'd all the other vendor roles at the wedding and had even been considering doing the flower arrangements and I'm so glad we didn't. They were really the center piece of the whole thing and when we were so exhausted from being the planner, the caterer, the bartender, the lighting, the photographer, the videographer and the DJ, it was so reassuring to know there was one piece we entrusted to someone else and it came out great. The rest of it came out great too, don't get me wrong, but trust your vendors when they say you don't need the drama of DIY'ing your own wedding, it's exhausting. On a lighter note, we loved the flowers so much we took them on honeymoon and arranged them around our hot tub like the "just married" display once it was all through and we've still got them dried on our mantle right now! After trying to find a local florist to deliver to a very small coastal town from out of town mind you I was able to I contact Natasha with a very short notice request for special anniversary. She not only was able to accommodate that request that same day but also added a smaller token for my 2 year old grandsons birthday which happened to be that day. Natasha is the best! She came highly recommended by Gualala natives and every other vendor I talked to. She is such a sweet and caring lady, so it was really fun to work with her on the flowers for my wedding. It's obvious she has a genuine love and excitement for her work. The arrangements she made were drop dead gorgeous! She took my ideas and made them a million times better. I dropped off a ton of different rustic lanterns, bird cages, and vintage cans for her to decorate around, and she really excelled beyond my expectations. I couldn't stop staring at my bouquet! She added so many unique touches and intriguing flowers. The arrangements were far from anything typical and so so beautifully put together. And she was able to take her arrangements and adjust them day of to really fit the venue and what was already displayed. Throughout the day, I noticed these subtle details that she had added last minute and they really changed the whole feel of the venue. Natasha was so easy to work with, and I really loved everything she created. She was also very reasonable and able to work well with me to come up with a budget. We just got married at the Stillwater Cove Ranch, about 15 miles south of Sea Ranch. Natasha did our flowers, and they were absolutely gorgeous. Never having had a wedding before, and having almost no opinion about flowers (other than knowing when I DON'T like something, which isn't always super helpful), we didn't offer Natasha much guidance other than, "Um, succulents, greens and blues." The arrangements she made for the wedding (centerpieces, garland, bar table arrangement, bouquet, corsages, bouts, cake table arrangement) were spectacularly beautiful. To use an over-used expression, they were everything we hoped for and more. Moreover, she delivered them, set them up, and made the day so easy for us even though we were super annoying and kept changing the number of centerpieces we needed. If you aren't from the Gualala/Jenner area but are throwing a party there, it can be very hard to know exactly how to handle all the details. While initially I had been glad that there weren't a ton of vendor options (makes planning easier), I was also slightly paranoid because I had no idea what we were getting into. Amazing woman with amazing talent. Here's my story. I wanted to propose in Gualala, and I live in San Francisco, so I rented a house up there. Not having been to the house before, I only had pictures to help me before the big day. I happened upon Natasha as a referral from the home rental agency, and the rest became easy, thanks to her: First, the flowers - she arranged to do a 'dry run' with the home rental agency, and planned out what she would need. Then, the day that we drove up, she decorated the entry and balcony with rose petals, put incredible arrangements in every room, covered tables with rose petals and candles everywhere, and made up a 'basket' with all things romantic - including items specifically requested that she had to go shopping for. She went unbelievably out of her way to make it a perfect weekend. All the arrangements were outstanding, and my (now!) fiance was overwhelmed and crying with joy. Not only that, but she helped me pick out a place to propose, and went there for me to give me precise instructions on how to get there. She really made the weekend possible for me, and went beyond florist to 'weekend planner.' She was creative and genuinely excited to make the weekend perfect, and I really hope that other people have the chance to be as happy as we were. We had our small wedding at a private home in Jenner, and Natasha's gorgeous arrangements and bouquets had all the guests commenting about how beautiful they were.
