The antique stores in the area are great, but I feel like Mondern Antiquarium has the widest range of categories. Not only do they offer the usual spread - dining, clothes, old tech, ornaments, stationary, random smaller knick knacks, etc. but they also have larger curiosities like coin lockers, road signs, a large letter "P", etc. My favorite is that they also have a space for partnering with artists, e.g. a section for old books that have been repurposed into journals where I picked up a cute journal. After two or three weeks, I emailed Roe to see if she would contact me for a make-up appointment. After about a week, she replied that she would try to "squeeze me in." This was very off-putting. Also, their pay-out policy is strange. I have been consigning clothes for a long time, and I have never dealt with a business like this where we have to beg them to take our things.
