I'm a size 10 and the "larges" they carry don't fit me, so where does that leave bigger girls? I mentioned to the girl working that they might consider carrying larger sizes, and in response she suggested I shop at a "plus size" store. My jaw dropped. That is one of the rudest things anyone has ever said to me, and I wasn't even getting in her face about the sizes - we were just having a conversation while my friend finished up in the dressing room. I'm open to shopping at any store, plus size or otherwise, but I won't step foot in Liv again. Why should I? They don't value the business of women over size 8. The good news: Jax across the street does, with sizes up to 3X and the nicest sales people around.

On my most recent visit I scored a pair of comfortable, light-colored, distressed denim, a cotton sweater, AND a luxurious pair of cashmere fingerless gloves. I'm wearing the gloves now on this cold, gloomy day and love them! Erin Mavis is also currently offering a darling holiday market about a block away, tucked away in a courtyard. I found a great candle and wreath there!
