I was so embarrassed when I walked in the door and saw the flower arrangements I got for my wife. I spent $75 for the premium flower and looks like I got a basic order. Had 3 roses in the arrangement and more greenery plants then actually nice flowers. Total was $90 when all said and done. Then to top it off I called to ask an ETA and the girl said even if youre not home they'll call you to ask where they can be put at. What did they do? Didn't call me and left them at my freaking neighbors house. Poor ass customer service and ridiculous price for basic flowers. read more

We were in a rush and they made us up a vase very quickly. They didn't have much to choose from as they said they were awaiting a delivery?? ...turned out ok, I guess. Not sure that we would rush over there any time soon. Seemed a bit expensive at $80 for what we got. I guess flowers are expensive in general. Ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday. I live out of town and had many questions about what flowers they had available and if they would send me a picture of the arrangement before delivery. The customer service was excellent and they accommodated my picture request. The design was beautiful! Delivery was on time. Only disappointment was the roses wilted after 4 days and the other flowers were spent after 5 days. The greenery was the only element that made it a full week which is how long I expect a cut arrangement from a florist to last. Next time I will chose flowers from what is freshest in their stock and hope for a better outcome. I would recommend this business and ask for Bella because she handled my order flawlessly! I was in need of a corsage for my Mother-in-Law. Edith's was not the first florist I called. I am glad they were the 2nd call though. The first florist quote me $30 + tax-I thought that was a tad high. Absolutely horrible! I ordered a premium arrangement and that's definitely not what was sent! What was sent looked nothing like the picture. So I called because their website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Well that's also a lie I got a lady who kept talking over me do I hung up. Someone actually had the nerve to call me back so I thought oh maybe someone will fix this....NOPE! It was another lady who kept arguing with me. This is a superb florist- and I wholeheartedly recommend it. My mother was in the hospital in Lakeland and I love in Virginia. I saw some examples of bouquets on the website that I liked and finally narrowed it down to one. I placed the order and after a short time I received a call saying that they might have to make a substitution for one of the flowers - I said ok but that I was nervous about that ....... I never should have been. I later flew down to FL and was able to see the bouquet - it was better than the picture! My mom got so many compliments. So my wife is leaving on valentines day for manager training in north florida so i wanted to send her flowers to enjoy during the week until she left. So i ordered tulips from Flowers By Edith in lakeland. I ordered the upgraded radiant red tulips. They sent some other tulip called parrot tulip that appears to have sat on a truck for 4-days in the sun. I contacted them and they attempted to make it right, but that was a let down as well. The fact they changed the flower from what i ordered to what they determined was ok without contacting me is beyond me. I literally laughed at the owner... thought i was being punked or something. You know that TV show where they give you something horrible to see your reaction then the cameras pop out and say surprise!! We we're just kidding! Well no one ever popped out and I'm more than disappointed. Do yourself a favor and send your money to some other flower shop this valentines day. Do you know what type of uncomfortable conversations I've had stemming from the lack of support by me, at my Aunts funeral. Words cannot begin to express what a lovely job Beth from Flowers by Edith did for a flower arrangement for my sister's engagement. Being in Colorado, it was challenging trying to find a florist in Lakeland. I called in wanting a certain arrangement, and they unfortunately didn't have the flowers I requested since they aren't in season in Florida. However, Beth worked with me and created a wildflower arrangement for my sister. The flowers were delivered the day I called, and my sister LOVED the flowers! She is actually going to use some of the flowers that were in her arrangement for her wedding day! I would recommend this flower shop to anyone! read more

I had a wonderful experience with this florist. I would give them higher than a five if I could. I ordered the flowers through Teleflora (don't ever use them!). My friend who receive them said that some of the blooms were broken and the butterfly on the arrangement was also broken. I called Teleflora and they refused to do anything because I had not called within 48 hours of the delivery. I thought they were closed on Sunday and that's why I missed the window to call. I had remembered that the delivery person said he was with Flowers by Edith so I called the florist directly and told them what had happened. They were lovely! They said "no problem" and that they would re-delivered the flowers immediately. They did and my friend was very happy. So I would highly recommend them and I will call them directly from now on. You don't run across customer service of this caliber very often. And by the way, they said that they turn the flowers over to a volunteer at the hospital and that was where the damage had been done. read more

Flowers by Edith did not deliver to daughter on her birthday as requested. It was 6 days before she received them and then it did not include balloon. They were very rude, interrupting me and hanging up on me. Refused to make compensation. They knowingly delivered flowers to wrong person and refused to take efforts to ensure that it went to the correct person. Said they couldn't do more, but my husband is management for same company, and he knows that is not true. Why would he order flowers he knew could not be delivered? I'm sure other people have had positive experiences with Flowers by Edith, but I will avoid them in the future! read more
