I am a first time (phone) customer of Mildred's and will undoubtedly be a repeater. I had called down in search of a local florist, near my in laws, and decided to give Mildred's a try. I had a wonderful interaction with the woman who answered the call; she listened to my needs, asked intelligent questions and we determined the best arrangement for the occasion. The only reason I hesitated in giving five stars is because after seeing a couple pictures my mother in law sent of the flowers, I thought it was a bit overpriced. That said, I will continue to use Mildred's for any floral needs in the area since the arrangement was what I had asked for (perhaps even a bit more with the added colors) and the interaction was so great with the employee (I wish so much to remember her name...) I always try and support local businesses and Mildred's will make it a pleasure to do so in the future! read more

I have had the good fortune of using Mildred's Florist for over three years. I first use them because they were convenient. I continue using them because they are AWESOME. The various arrangements I have sent to my wife and daughter are always fresh, beautiful and last for weeks. Really. Weeks!!! Depending on the time of year, if I ask for a Halloween theme or Easter theme, the results are unbelievable. 5 Stars! My 5 year old little sister is/was very sick. I live in Colorado so I couldn't be by her side. But, I came across this business on google. They have nice prices and stuck within my budget WHILE my sister got the GORGEOUS vase of flowers (Pink and purple Daises and carnations with some babies breath). They even delivered within a few hours of me putting the order in. The delivery guy was polite and customer service was fantastic! I called and spoke with Jeremy and he was so incredibly helpful! I don't live in Lakeland but needed to have an arrangement sent to a funeral service and I am so glad I chose Mildred's Florist. I called and spoke with him about what I needed and how much I was hoping to spend and he suggested a dish garden. He even sent me photos of the different options so I could make the choice of which to send. Because I needed it delivered to a school I called and they were so very kind and accommodating to me and my situation. It was the day before Valentine's Day and I decided to send my sister in TN some flowers as a surprise. The only flowers in my budget that would get there in time were florist-designed arrangements. Phenomenal. Ten stars. My wife and I have Mildred's deliver flowers for my grandmother, and they are always above expectations. This year for Grandma's 93rd, they left them in the shade for her but Gma arrived home to no flowers we contacted Mildred's and they were more than kind and accommodating ! My daughter ordered flowers and her wedding bouquet from Mildred's Florist. We worked with Trish who was very nice and professional. The flowers and the bouquet were beautiful!! We had the wedding in St. Pete Beach and their flowers as well as their delivery charge from Lakeland, FL were very reasonably priced compared to the florists in the St. Pete Beach area and St. Petersburg.
