I wanted a local florist for my mother-in-law's birthday gift - I live in California! Was happy to find RIVERVIEW florist and couldn't have been happier with the result! (Woman and veteran owned was just icing on the cake!) I ordered online for next day delivery and added chocolates. I have orderer from many different florist throughout Florida, Riverview Florist has to be one of the worst I've ever ordered from. their website said the My Girl flower arrangement would be 21.5 inches tall, it was 17.5 inches. The arrangement that we received looked nothing at all like what was on the website. Really disappointing! read more

I can not even begin to express my gratitude to the family that own this shop. Last month, I was planning an elopement and didn't not know the first thing about a bouquet. I had absolutely no idea how to start, what color I wanted...I was so lost, stressed and confused! I told Rick "I didn't know what I needed!" He graciously arranged some looks for me and I was still undecided. He told me to come back to see Kayla (the designer...also his daughter), and she would get me what I needed for sure. I returned 2 day later...the day before the elopement (due to me being sick myself). Kayla and her husband were in the store wrapping up the day, and I explained my situation, and even though they were closing up (to tend to their sick baby), she and her husband turned on their PHENOMENAL customer service and created me the most beautiful bouquet I could have ever asked for. They were ABSOLUTELY SO AMAZING to me! They gave me so many options (from their beautiful selection) and so many ideas, even though it was last minute, their baby was sick, and it was closing time. From my understanding, the parents are retiring and Kayla will be taking over the business. If the parents are reading this, know you all are leaving the shop in great hands! My very generous friend sent me this gorgeous flower arrangement for Thanksgiving. I received these flowers on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving and after a week they are still stunning! All of the flowers opened up and NOT ONE petal of any of the flowers has fallen off up to this point (a week later). Upon delivering the flowers a gentleman phoned me to make sure I was home to accept delivery instead of leaving on my doorstep in the heat or with a neighbor. She contacted me the day before pick up to let me know that the roses came in and were bad and needed to change my flower. She was so remorseful and so professional. I didn't think we were going to be able to get something nice at the last minute but decided to walk-in and ask. I can't recall her name, but the woman on the phone was very kind and she had lots of great ideas to offer. I appreciated this because another shop I called asked what I liked and that was missing the point. I was in need of flowers for a sad time and what I like does not matter.
