They certainly are an asset to Hyde Park Village. The owner, Gayle, runs a tight ship and she seems to employ only the very talented floral designers. Her weddings and venue stylings are stunning! She also offers workshops on how to make your own arrangement and flower crown ones as well-how cool! Gayle is very passionate about her line of work and its evident she loves sharing her passion with others! The first time I received flowers from here they were from my family. What a gorgeous array of types of flowers and colors were employed. I have popped in on occasion to buy loose flowers as well. The stems she has are beautiful! I also ordered a floral crown for my maternity (pregnancy) shoot that I did, as the silk crowns the photographer offered were nice but I had seen what nice work FF does with crowns and I knew I wanted one! April came through for me and delivered a beautiful crown with florals in the color palette I requested that morning I spoke with her and she only took around an hour to create it! I was amazed! (I ordered one a few days in advance but somehow the time was overlooked). I appreciated the expedited order and the stellar customer service I received from April! She even noticed I had called before the shop opened at 10am (caller ID because I didn't leave a message) and she returned my call unprompted. What great service! I highly recommend Florist Fire and look forward to patronizing them again in the future.

When I called Friday they stated that the order has a different delivery date. They were able to fill the order last minute and deliver the order the next day. They were very accommodating. I don't know who answered the phone, but the lady answered the phone with a rude demeanor and then let out a big sigh when I told her I was interested in placing a flower order! Before I could go any further, she stated that she wasn't delivering any more flowers today. Mind you, it is only 12 pm. I gladly took my business elsewhere. I didn't even need a same day delivery, but the way in which I was treated made me cringe with disgust toward the lack of professionalism and friendliness I received.

It looked like they dropped a few nicer stems in a cheap glass vase and literally stuck a small handful of the cheapest daisies on the backside to fill in a gap because they didn't use enough of the better quality flowers to even make a complete "premium" arrangement. It was barely a basic arrangement! And, they didn't even spread out the cheap daisies throughout the "arrangement", they just stick the entire small bundle into the gap!! They won't answer the phone, they charge a fee to order online on top of a delivery charge, poor quality, poor customer service!! Charged over $100 for a $30, if that, grocery store flower bundle. When dealing with a death/funeral/grief, one shouldn't have to worry if your florist is going to disappoint you. THIS IS NO FLORAL SHOP! They are floral bandits, hacks!! DO NOT USE THEM! Find another REAL florist!!
