When you open the door to Tonella's your senses are greeted with a vibrant flower wall and the scents of a wonderful variety of flowers. Snap a picture of yourself in front of the flower power wall and the owner greets you and offers a beverage. Mimosa? Um~ yes!!! The flower wall continues with individual hanging vases full of blooms and buds for you to handpick a bouquet or have them design something for you. I wasn't able to visit my daughter in the hospital when she gave birth and she just had a birthday- so I thought, I can pick out a small bouquet and surprise her! She was waiting in the car feeding little Riley while I popped into a couple of stores. I picked a couple of double tulip stems in a gorgeous, vibrant pink, a couple of sunflowers, these bell flowers that were white with a hint of purple and a bundle of filler stems with dainty little flowers to complete the small bouquet. The flowers were arranged and wrapped up while I sipped my drink and I happily gave the bouquet to my daughter back at the car! She was thrilled and said it was the nicest flowers anyone has ever given her- awww. I also made sure to arrange them in a vase when we got back to her house. Mylez and the his staff were amazing. I had brought my mother along to help, since she did have some idea about flowers, and they asked a number of questions about the overall feel of the wedding, the colors we were using in our outfits, and our own personal style. We looked over pictures of Andrews Chapel, our ceremony, location and they had lots of ideas to discuss. We decided on an overall feel and some colors for the floral components and left the details in their very capable hands. We could not have been more pleased with the final results! The pew decorations were simple but elegant and showcased the natural beauty of the wood of the chapel. My bouquet was amazing, in shades of white, cream and burgundy. And for the reception, they designed very casual but lovely centerpieces around orchids, which we were able to send home with our guests. Everything exceeded our expectations and added just the right accents to our special day. No problems at all with delivery or setup at either of our locations. I cannot recommend X Floral, Mylez and his staff highly enough. They produced amazing floral design for us - breathtaking in its simple elegance.

I rush out of the parking lot like a bat outta hell. I pull up my handy Yelp App on my phone for florists near me. A few popped up but with heavy traffic, I figure X Floral was the nearest. A bit nondescript. I actually passed it while looking for it. Apparently they used to hold the store in the front on the street level and had to move to the back portion. Hence why I passed it. I pull in and was pleasantly surprised. Poshe little boutique up front - very pretty, clean, organized and smelled wonderfully fragrant as all floral shops should. The owner appeared from the back and had just put everything away. He didn't seem to mind all all to pull things back out for me. He created a beautiful small arrangement while chatting me up about all sorts of things. Very personable and talented. I also asked for petals for the table. The arrangement was $35 which I felt was adequatly priced. The petals were $5 which was way overpriced. I didn't balk and had to run out to make the party. I would definitely order from him again. I felt he definitely was talented and had beautiful flowers in stock. 6 days later and I know the flowers are still beautiful and look fresh so that is a plus!

We came to pick them up today only to see magenta (or at least a very pinky purple) corsages. When we told the lady, yet again, that we wanted dark purple she said that those flowers were the only purple ones that the place could get and they couldn't spray the flowers at all. She then debated with us about how the color we wanted was lavender and not dark purple, and told us that we should have sent a picture when we ordered it because they're wasting time and product. Given the amount of clarification my mom made through the phone, it was clear that they couldn't do what we wanted, but accepted the order anyways despite insisting that they could. I will say that I appreciate their effort into making new corsages for us, however we could've gotten the actual color we wanted if she told us weeks ago that it couldn't be done there.
