Ordered my girl some flowers as a simple "thinking of you" gift. Called ahead, told them the colors and the vibe I wanted--nothing crazy, just something nice and thoughtful. The people on the phone were actually solid: real polite, prompt, and made it easy. She got the surprise delivery and hit me with the pics (then showed her friends). Everybody's first reaction was "who passed away?" The arrangement looked straight-up funeral. On top of that, the flowers didn't last long at all. They meant well and the staff was cool, but I'm not coming back for romantic or "just because" gifts. If you need something for a funeral or somebody you don't particularly like, this is probably your spot. read more

Chalet Flowers - Florists Near Me - Zephyrhills, Florida

I first visited Chalet after doing a quick google search of flower stores a few weeks ago. I had walked into two other stores and had not been happy, but.. before I walked in, I was already impressed. The owner(s) decided to build a house in the city, with a beautifully manicured yard that you would have to see. Once I got inside the first time I was greeted by the owner who was incredibly friendly and went through the options and asked me all types of questions as I had mentioned I wasn't sure what to get. She also asked me on budget, without trying to pressure me into any category. The nicest thing I've heard someone say, was when she recommended I wait until the afternoon that day as she would have fresher flowers by then. Once I received the flowers I was very happy with the selection, and my wife was incredibly happy as well. This had me decide for Valentine's Day I had to come back! Before I came back I called ahead and asked again for her thoughts and she guided me based on a few questions to a fantastic solution. She also asked again on my budget, and made it based on this. The picture I have is based on $100, which I find incredibly reasonable. Today when I picked up the flowers, the store was very full, but the owner (and daughter I think?) had brought in extra help in anticipation of the volume. I was apprehensive on my wait time as I pulled up, but was helped rather quickly, and was very happy to hear I hadn't been forgotten from last time! I've recommended several people and will continue to as this will be my go to place, and I'd recommend the same for others, as it's definitely the best in Pasco County! read more

We used Chalet Flowers for a funeral service. Instead of ordering online or on the phone we visited their shop. The owner was very helpful in showing us options in a book with arrangements. We got to pick out the pot we wanted and some of the flowers. That made it feel more personal. The arrangement was delivered on time and it was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you to the staff for all your help. We will definitely use you for any future flower needs. read more

Chalet Flowers - The happiest graduate! - Florists Near Me - Zephyrhills, Florida

Chalet Flowers is one of those places that still understands the value of exemplary customer service. No matter the request, be it fresh rose petals, my annual order for a seasonal arrangement placed in a family heirloom container, just the right floral design for the passing of a friend or community member, this second-generation family owned business ALWAYS gets it right. I can highly recommend them for all your floral needs. Yes, you can get floral arrangements cheaper online, but if you read the fine print, those companies won't always guarantee freshness...or even a specific delivery date! Shop local. You'll be glad you did! read more

Based on prior yelpitude, although light, and some other reviews I found on Google Local, I decided to stop by Chalet Florist today. I'm staying in Dade City with the family, but everyone says horrible things recently about the Dade City Florist that most people have been going to for years, so I decided it was worth the drive. It's in a weird location. I lived in Zephyrhills for a long while and even /dated someone around the corner/ and had never once seen the little Chalet, nestled cozily in the corner of 7th Ave and South. I had no appointment. I hadn't called ahead. It was Christmas Eve, an hour before the shop closed. I walked in, looked at some of the things in the front of the shop, and asked to see what was in the cooler in back. Being Christmas, the only things they had were white and red carnation baskets. I asked if she could make me something, if she had time, with spring flowers for my grandparents in a vase. I told her I wanted to spend $50, and wanted it to look incredible. She said it would take 10 minutes. I came back in ten minutes and found the most glorious arrangement I've ever seen, especially for $50. I've paid three times that for half the arrangement while living in NYC. The lady said they've been there for more than 30 years, and I instantly understood why -- this was an incredible product for a great price, served up fresh, and with a smile. TLDR: Amazing impromptu arrangement. I was thrilled. My grandparents were thrilled. You, too, will be thrilled if you stop in at Chalet Florist. Pro-Tip: No AMEX read more

I used Chalet Flowers once before and had a wonderful experience. The flowers that were delivered were beyond exceptional. The flowers exceeded my expectations in Beauty. Doorbell rings- I'm shocked, no-one ever comes to my door. I opened it to find the most adorable young man with a big smile, holding a vase full of the most beautiful flowers. I never get flowers- not on my birthday, holidays- ever! The three roses were truly gorgeous- a soft peach, perfectly shaped, surrounded by fresh yellow and white daisies (or mums) and a couple of yellow carnations. They were sent by a leading pet food supplier (another shock- who does that?) with condolences because I let them know that I would no longer be needing food for my beloved great dane. What an amazing surprise, and a really nice memory to cherish- which included the presentation: the charming young man- (I'm 73, so I can appreciate)- as well as the absolutely beautiful flowers. Thank you Chalet Flowers- I look forward to stopping by in the future to treat myself to a beautiful bouquet. read more

Best florist in town. My family has been using them for 20 years. I no longer live in the area, but I called them today, a Friday, after business hours to ask if they could send a rather large arrangement to a memorial service this Sunday. Chalet Flowers provided 3 arrangements for my father's memorial service. They were all beautiful and fresh, delivered on time and as ordered. They had to make a few adjustments to online photos, due to flowers being out of season, but explained the substitutions in advance and the results were just as attractive as original sample. I ordered over the phone and staff was very helpful and patient. Another family member went into shop and also received great customer service. Several people commented on the lovely flowers at the service. read more

Helllllllo Florida! So I wanted to send my mother some really special flowers for her birthday, but I live in California. I had a horrible experience with 1800 flowers and ended up finding this place over yelp. When I called the nice woman was very, very patient, I had what felt like a long list of very specific request with specific flowers. I wanted yellow roses and sunflowers for my mom. Yellow roses to represent my grandmother who passes and the sunflowers to represent me. They unfortunately didn't have yellow roses, but they did have one unopened sunflower! Which I really wanted. So I asked her to just make me anything, as long as it was just make it with love. On top of all that I wanted a 50 dollar gift card. They did it all. They even delivered it first thing in the morning! Their beautiful flowers really set the tone for my moms bday!! Thanks so much guys!! I would definitely recommend and use this place again!! read more

Fantastic customer service. Kim is so nice. Highly recommended. Clients are always very complimentary of their work!

I just talked with Kim at Chalet Flowers in Zephyr Hills, FL, and she could not have been sweeter or more compassionate. I ordered a small white basket of white roses for my beloved uncle because my aunt passed away two nights ago. Kim knew exactly what I wanted and I am sure - in her capable hands - the basket will be as perfect as if I had made it up myself. I can't say how happy I am I chose Chalet Flowers. I broke down on the phone and Kim was so supportive, sweet and loving - and she had everything I wanted. I recommend this florist more highly than I can say. read more

Our family has used Chalet Flowers for 25 years. They've delivered many a birthday and Mother's day bouquet, and recently, my Dad ordered a "Harvest" arrangement for me. It came in a cute little pumpkin with it's "hat" tipped to the side. They make lovely orchid corsages (order a week in advance) and will even make an arrangement for you using a customer-furnished vase...which saves money for those of us who love fresh flowers. The owner Kim is creative, resourceful and kind, as are her staff. I can highly recommend Chalet Flowers for all your floral needs. read more
