I suppose I should have seen it coming, but I can't help when a birthday is! Anyway, it was going to be a surprise for my assistant, who works in St. Petersburg, but at the last minute (after I had ordered the flowers) she told me everyone was instructed to work from home on Friday. The folks at Delma's were super responsive when I told them there was a change in the address. The only problem is she lives in Tampa, not St. Petersburg. The folks at Delma's told me they don't usually deliver out that far, but that they would for me given the circumstances. No extra charge. No hurricane fee. Just great service! Definitely coming back for future flowers for my assistant. By the way, I don't know why they are listed as $$$. I looked at other florists in the area with $$ ratings, and Delma's was definitely offering more flower for less $.

Both included Hawaiian ginger which I love. One arrangement had two large shoots; the other had one beautiful large shoot and one that had never bloomed and stuck up like a fat stick. Each arrangement had a large bird of paradise. Each was bruised. It is Thursday and all of the ginger is brittle and drooped. Both arrangements had fragrant roses but they were so far into bloom that by Sunday evening they were already browning and I threw them out. I'm very disappointed. A for design. D for execution. It didn't even occur to me that it was so close to Valentine's Day either so when I called around the Carrollwood/Tampa area, I got turned down by EVERYONE! I was really starting to get nervous after the 5th florist I spoke to gave me a big fat NO until I stumbled upon Artistic Florist of Tampa. I gave it a shot, dialed them up, and spoke with a lady that actually heard me out. She explained to me that it was a really busy time for them, but that she would pass my request to Wendy, the owner. I received a phone call from Wendy the same day and she was just the sweetest thing ever. When I explained to her that I didn't want much, and that I wanted sunflowers and burgundy flowers, we proceeded to schedule a consultation for a few days in the future. The consultation was wonderful. She listened to everything I wanted and explained to me that it shouldn't be a problem considering I wouldn't be having red, pink, or white flowers. I ordered a bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 10 boutonnières, 5 corsages, and a delivery fee out to Spring Hill the day of. Such a great price!! (Mind you sunflowers were NOT in season) A couple days before the wedding, Wendy called me with some questions concerning the flowers. The burgundy flowers that she ordered didn't quite match up with my colors, so she proceeded to ask me how I felt about roses. I'm not the biggest fan, but when she described to me that these roses were a deep burgundy and that they would go along better than the originals, I said to hell with it (because I trusted her) and told her to do what she thought was best. THANK GOD I DID! It was the most beautiful set of flowers I've ever seen. She had one of her employees come out and deliver everything and when I saw them, I couldn't help but to burst out in tears. Everything was perfect, Wendy was perfect, the employees were perfect, the flowers were perfect! If I EVER need flowers for ANYTHING in the future, I will be using Artistic Florists for sure and I highly recommend that you do the same. Thank you for making my day beautiful!!! -Diana

Mylez and the his staff were amazing. I had brought my mother along to help, since she did have some idea about flowers, and they asked a number of questions about the overall feel of the wedding, the colors we were using in our outfits, and our own personal style. We looked over pictures of Andrews Chapel, our ceremony, location and they had lots of ideas to discuss. We decided on an overall feel and some colors for the floral components and left the details in their very capable hands. We could not have been more pleased with the final results! The pew decorations were simple but elegant and showcased the natural beauty of the wood of the chapel. My bouquet was amazing, in shades of white, cream and burgundy. And for the reception, they designed very casual but lovely centerpieces around orchids, which we were able to send home with our guests. Everything exceeded our expectations and added just the right accents to our special day. No problems at all with delivery or setup at either of our locations. I cannot recommend X Floral, Mylez and his staff highly enough. They produced amazing floral design for us - breathtaking in its simple elegance.

I rush out of the parking lot like a bat outta hell. I pull up my handy Yelp App on my phone for florists near me. A few popped up but with heavy traffic, I figure X Floral was the nearest. A bit nondescript. I actually passed it while looking for it. Apparently they used to hold the store in the front on the street level and had to move to the back portion. Hence why I passed it. I pull in and was pleasantly surprised. Poshe little boutique up front - very pretty, clean, organized and smelled wonderfully fragrant as all floral shops should. The owner appeared from the back and had just put everything away. He didn't seem to mind all all to pull things back out for me. He created a beautiful small arrangement while chatting me up about all sorts of things. Very personable and talented. I also asked for petals for the table. The arrangement was $35 which I felt was adequatly priced. The petals were $5 which was way overpriced. I didn't balk and had to run out to make the party. I would definitely order from him again. I felt he definitely was talented and had beautiful flowers in stock. 6 days later and I know the flowers are still beautiful and look fresh so that is a plus!

The owner(s) decided to build a house in the city, with a beautifully manicured yard that you would have to see. Once I got inside the first time I was greeted by the owner who was incredibly friendly and went through the options and asked me all types of questions as I had mentioned I wasn't sure what to get. She also asked me on budget, without trying to pressure me into any category. The nicest thing I've heard someone say, was when she recommended I wait until the afternoon that day as she would have fresher flowers by then. Once I received the flowers I was very happy with the selection, and my wife was incredibly happy as well. This had me decide for Valentine's Day I had to come back! Before I came back I called ahead and asked again for her thoughts and she guided me based on a few questions to a fantastic solution. She also asked again on my budget, and made it based on this. The picture I have is based on $100, which I find incredibly reasonable. Today when I picked up the flowers, the store was very full, but the owner (and daughter I think?) had brought in extra help in anticipation of the volume. I was apprehensive on my wait time as I pulled up, but was helped rather quickly, and was very happy to hear I hadn't been forgotten from last time! I've recommended several people and will continue to as this will be my go to place, and I'd recommend the same for others, as it's definitely the best in Pasco County!
