The woman who answered kept repeating that the arrangement would be designers' choice and it would depend on what flowers they had the week of delivery. I gave them two stars because they refunded my money. The first picture was what I ordered, a PREMIUM ALL PINK Bouquet for $85 before any other charges. The second picture was what they made. According to the recipient, they are even uglier in person. The woman that answered the phone interrupted me constantly during our conversation. In the end, she even admitted that they were not very attractive. They "let" me keep the flowers but who wants a hideous bouquet? I live in another state and feel that they took advantage of that fact, assuming I would never see them. From now on I will only use Bloomingdale Florist! My mother-in-law was admitted into the hospital a week ago. I called Bloomingdale Florist and told them I wanted to order a flower arrangement for her. I told them I wanted it to be as big, bright and beautiful as they could make it for $175. They did not disappoint! The arrangement was absolutely stunning and even had Birds of Paradise. People were stopping me at Tampa General asking to take photos and wanting to know where I got them as I carried them in. Her nurses and Dr's also commented to her about how special she must be to receive an arrangement that big and beautiful! It made my mom-in-law feel so special and made the Dr's and nurses know she was very loved. Fast forward to today, my mom-in-law came home from the hospital and is now on hospice. I wasn't able to drive all the way back to Bloomingdale to order her another arrangement to have when she arrived home. I decided to go to a Florist right by her home in Riverview that has very high reviews. I called them and said the exact my same thing when I ordered the flowers from Bloomingdale. I wanted a statement piece and as big and beautiful that I could get for $175.00. I just picked it up and am so disappointed. Yes, it is beautiful, but for the price, it looks the size of just a normal everyday pre-made arrangement that you can stop by and get out of the refrigerator at any florist shop. They did not even put a bow on arrangement. I have included three photos of the arrangement I got from Bloomingdale Florist. The third photo is the one I got from the Riverview Florist. The fourth is the another photo of the one from Bloomingdale. Both were the same exact price. From now on I will only use Bloomingdale Florist. They far exceeded my expectations. I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed w/the service I received today. I placed an order to pick up, when I arrived to get it the door is locked, someone waved me off like "shoo, go away" type of wave, I thought ok, well I placed an order surely I can get it, she came to the door, w/an annoyed look on her face asking me word for word "What do you need we're closed!?!" as if I'm a bother to her, I said I placed an order, because she wouldn't open the door to speak to me like a human being or at the very least a customer who is choosing to purchase from them do to all the small business shut downs, she couldn't hear me, from a far I heard someone yell out "Gonzalez?" i turned and said yes that's me. Unbeknownst me, they actually closed the doors this morning do to COVID-19, I completely understand that, the second lady who was very nice apologized said it just happened this morning, but I did not appreciate being treated like a bother by the 1st lady, I could've easily ordered from a big chain store, had it delivered and everything for cheaper, being a nurse I can't imagine being out of work, I am so lucky to be able to still work, provide a service to my community, and provide an income for my family. I purposely ordered from here because they're a small business to help in some way, but the treatment I recieved today did not seem as my business was wanted or appreciated. I will not be ordering from here again and people will see this review and unfortunately probably decide the same thing. The wonderful women at Bloomingdale Florist did all the flowers for our Christmas time wedding. They went above and beyond and even though they were swamped with Christmas orders they were able to accommodate some last minute additions and changes and always with a smile. Some of the flowers we had ordered were very special order flowers that only came into the shop the morning of our wedding and they took care of it beautifully. We have gone in and just bought flowers since and the arrangements were always fresh and lasted forever and we also ordered a few arrangements and they totally exceeded our expectations. I couldn't recommend this florist more and I'm a relatively new transplant from NYC and they far surpassed any florist that I used in NYC (and I bought a lot of flowers lol). I almost forgot to mention that even with the stress and the stress of all of their beautiful orders and pre- made arrangements, the lovely women remained calm, extremely nice and very funny. Ordered my wedding flowers from here. The bouquet I carried was very pretty but fell apart even as I walked down the aisle. By the time pictures were done there was nothing but a few pieces of greenery left. Guests and strangers kept trying to help by running over with roses and stargazers that had fallen off, trying to put them back in. I threw what was left in a trash can outside the cocktail hour. I also ordered flower arm bands; I wanted to wear one at the reception. I know they're not common so I brought a picture and asked a few times if she was sure she could do that. We all laughed when they arrived. Huge pink 80's bows and looked nothing like the picture. Honestly, we all thought it looked more like a dog collar. We cut the bows off but they were so bad I just left them home. The people are nice there and I thought it was pretty affordable.
