Out-of-State Buyer Beware - Undisclosed Damage on a $38,000 Vehicle and Zero Accountability…read more I purchased a Kia Telluride for over $38,000 from this dealership as an out-of-state buyer and paid $750 for enclosed vehicle shipping. The transaction closed quickly and payment was wired in full. When the vehicle arrived Friday night, it was delivered dirty on the exterior, despite enclosed transport. Once inspected properly in daylight, I discovered significant warping and paint damage on the rear spoiler. This defect was not disclosed, not visible in the listing photos, and not identified in the third-party pre-purchase inspection I paid for. The inspection company later refunded me, acknowledging they missed it. I immediately documented the issue with photos and video and contacted the dealership. I reached out to:    *   Chanda (Salesperson)    *   Nathan Baysek (Used Car Manager)    *   Calvin (Internet Sales Manager)    *   Will Kraft (General Sales Manager)    *   And ultimately the General Manager For days, no one responded to emails or calls. After continued escalation, Will Kraft finally contacted me and confirmed that management and the GM reviewed the photos and decided to do nothing, stating that because I paid for a pre-purchase inspection, the dealership would not assist in any way. To be clear:    *   This was a $38,000+ vehicle    *   The damage was present at delivery    *   It was not disclosed prior to sale    *   It was not visible in marketing photos    *   The vehicle arrived dirty, further obscuring the issue The vehicle itself is mechanically fine, but the lack of disclosure, refusal to stand behind the condition of a high-dollar vehicle, and complete breakdown in communication was unacceptable. If you are buying locally and can inspect the car yourself, your experience may differ. If you are buying remotely, understand that once the dealership has your money and the vehicle is delivered, you are on your own. This was a conscious decision by management not to address an undisclosed issue on a $38,000 vehicle.

I put a $500 cash deposit on the vehicle but asked them to have a mechanic look at the engine knock as well as pulsating brakes. If they took car of those two things I would buy the car. The salesman, Rudy, who was very nice called me a couple days later and said they would no longer be selling the car and it would go to auction as it didn't meet their standards for sale. I found that to be a little odd as they told me the car had been on their lot for about 40 days. But OK that's fine and I asked for my deposit back. Rudy said he would arrange to have a check sent to me for the full amount of the deposit. So I wait about a week, no check. I called Rudy and he said he instructed Betty in their Business department to have the check sent to me. I waited another week, no check, no phone call from Rohrich. I then called Betty and she said that she gave instructions to someone in accounting to send me the check. She said she would look into it and get back to me. I wait another week, no check no return phone call. I finally called their General Sales Manager and left a message for him to call me back. Two days later still no phone call. So now it's been 3 weeks and no check. I have been in B2B sales for over 30 years starting as a sales rep and working my way up to Commercial Director for North and South America at a multibillion $ global company. I know what good customer service is and it definitely is not what Rohrich Lexus is about. I realize some businesses have check runs only on certain times of the month but nobody said anything to me that was the reason for the delay. I have no problem with Rudy as he did what I asked him to and followed up directly with me. But for the rest of the people I was in touch with, they really need to get trained about taking care of their customers. I cannot and will not recommend Rohrich Lexus to anyone. It's a shame that I may have to take this to court to get my money back.

On 21 February 2025, I purchased a used 2017 BMW M2, which had roughly 24240 miles…read more I drove 600 miles roundtrip to make the purchase because of Ken, who provided prompt replies to my queries on the condition of the car. When I arrived to test drive, the car ran a low battery alert on the second start after a few minutes of driving. I wanted to leave but something about the mileage and the Carfax convinced me it was clean and that there was no electrical issue besides the battery. Another buyer might've been wary of the alternator at that point, causing battery drain. Then, when you looked around the car, you'd notice it wasn't detailed properly. There was food dried to the B pillar and behind the steering wheel, as well as a bag of trash in the trunk. I noticed when I popped the trunk to check the battery after having already asked Ken to verify that it was in working order before I arrived to test drive the car. I didn't gripe about these issues. In fact, I made it an easy sale and I regret it. I didn't complicate the sale for issues which would have alerted other buyers to your indifference in preparing this car. How do you deliver a car with a dead battery to a buyer who drove 300 miles and gave you a week to prepare the car, while asking about key details including the battery. It reads negligent, and I am unsurprised that lack of care in adequately inspecting the car manifested again. You can produce a narrative about what I did to the car, but my evidence suggests you were more careless than I was and I believe strongly that others will agree. Last night, 13 days after purchase, the car threw a check engine light. Error code P120D bank 1, hose broken or defective. Upon closer inspection of the engine bay, you will notice lots of loose electrical tape that has been haphazardly wrapped around wiring. Now I know why. The engine bay was also likely power-washed, which can loosen hoses and wiring and clamping. I am extremely frustrated because I just made a purchase I can't presently drive, and trust me I could have purchased a lot of other cars. I was driving out to dinner last night with a date, and then I had to cancel plans because the car isn't drive-able in its present condition and now I am out of a car until I fix it. That's not how a new car purchase should work, and I will advise others about what I experienced because it is extremely irregular and deceptive to sell a collector-esq car that can't even be driven. The part that failed isn't regular wear and tear either, especially not at this mileage. You might have even cleared the code. Personally, I do believe someone did. As someone who has only purchased used cars in the past, and who has owned BMWs before, I can safely say this is irregular maintenance that would never appear on any clean car, but especially not on any car that had been well inspected because it's inexcusable to pop a drive-train issue this short after purchase on a car with this mileage. This isn't a "clean car." When I told Ken this and expressed my warranted frustration, he suggested I was driving the car too hard. However, His sales manager, Scott?, stated too much time had passed. Which excuse is it? I am unsure at this point but surely someone will reply stating I declined a warranty, which they are welcome to do. However, I am also entitled to say they don't inspect vehicles properly. They lie. They clear check engine codes. They will sell you poorly inspected used cars and my experience was poor before during and after the sale. Cannot recommend. Last text is Ken laughing about me for the damage. Sick.
